What is a Community Ambassador? In the words of TNT:
Community Ambassadors are passionate & knowledgeable Neopets players who volunteer their time to help strengthen communication between the Neopets Team and the broader community.The article also includes a small FAQ to clarify some other details of the application and selection process. Applications are open to all players. The selected applicants will be notified and onboarded "by early July 2026," with some transition overlap planned with the current cohort.
They serve as a bridge—gathering community concerns, reporting major site issues, and relaying constructive feedback directly to TNT through dedicated channels.
While Ambassadors collaborate closely with the team, they are not staff members and are not involved in development decisions or internal planning. They do not have access to all behind-the-scenes information, but work alongside us to help enhance the overall player experience.

For context, the first Community Ambassador cohort launched in October 2023. At the time, TNT declared this group an "alpha program" to do a "test run" in the October 2023 AMA, and planned to expand the group three months later in January 2024. At some point TNT decided to instead keep the group in place for a full year, announcing so in the May 2024 AMA "to solidify the program's direction and gather deeper insights."
The second, current cohort began on June 16, 2025.
