i found the polls this morning looking around how to submit a support ticket and thought it was just something i had never noticed before!

Shame the options don't let you give real feedback - what would make me attend the live streams? If they weren't 1am GMT!

I'd looove to add that while I like animated items, how they look on the still image is super important to me!!

Where's the "none" option for page conversion, seriously.

What would make you most interested in attending Neopets LIVE? - this question should let you choose multiple answers because i want to hear what Dom says AND get a universal in game item at the end

Posting my extra thoughts here since there wasn’t a feedback option on the polls!

What makes me want to buy a capsule? I like more than 3/4 of the items in the individual capsule because they’re gatcha and if I don’t like most of it I won’t buy a single one.

Animated pieces can be difficult to style and layer. Adding more than two animated pieces makes everything go crazy and the pages just can’t support processing the movement!

Rayen ,whether you like the new design or not, the site needs to be converted,they're just doing it slowly because it's not easy, since Neopets used Flash on its pages or other outdated technologies that aren't functional on mobile phones, something that doesn't fit with the current era, where modern websites work on both PCs and laptops as well as mobile phones.

I'm perfectly fine with them limiting the Mystery Capsule and Neopets Live question to this NeoPass Poll, but I do feel the "Page Conversion" question should be made available to everyone (unless this is something that'll only affect the mobile side of things, but if the Quick Stock & SDB is anything to go by than it sounds like it'll be a conversion on the main site as well).

Well, since I can't answer the questions there, I can put my thoughts here:

Q1. Looking for in Mystery Capsule:
A1. I don't usually buy Capsules.
Thoughts: Well, that was anti-climatic, lol. Hm, maybe if they're looking for feedback they should rewrite the question in a way where that wouldn't be an option. I mean, I'm assuming they're asking this because they want to get more people to buy Capsules. I'd reword like: "If you were going to buy the newest Mystery Capsule, what would you be hoping to get from it?". So if that was the question asked, I guess I'd pick "Something that pairs well with my existing customisations", if anything because it sounds like a direction they can go in. I'd want outfits which can match my Neopets personality be them a warrior, adventurer, academic, fashionista, or just casual wear.

Q2. How often should Neopets LIVE be?
A2. Bi-monthly or Quarterly.
Thoughts: While connecting with the community is always encouraged, at the same time I would want something like this to have something substantial to talk about or show. If there's anything that they should focus on being monthly I think that should be Release Notes, even it's only been a few things.

Q3. Animated wearables?
A3. Depends on the items.
Thoughts: I feel they should have split the "depends" into two options like they did with "love animated items". Not many items need to be animated, and I prefer simpler animations.

Thoughts: I'm going assume it's just a conversion and not an update as they did with Quick Stock & SDB. Of those options I can see mobile players having the most issue placing their Food Club bets. All the others is just clicking a button.

Q5. Make you interested attending Neopets LIVE?
A5. I mean, I think all of those sound important. But if I had to pick one, the AMA with TNT Dom.

As much as I hate the converted pages, I hope they update labray next.
When you have 20+ pets it is a PAIN to scroll through them all to get to your labrat.

I prefer animated wearables IF animated even half decent.
I took another look at the Sky full of Eyries BG the other day and one of the wings on the blue Eyrie doesn't just look like it's being folded like paper rather than flapping, but it's literally going THE WRONG WAY.
They are absolutely terrible at animating wings, and even the placement is usually way off.

Maybe I'd bother attending a LIVE if they weren't always in the middle of the night and literally never at any other time ever.

Well, I'm glad the polls are mostly meaningless. Lives and NC items? Yeah, whatever.

It's funny how they made the animated items answers insanely enthusiastic for yes, and almost apologetic for no. Instead of "I prefer non-animated so they're more accessible, consistent and simple! HOORAY!"

If anyone can vote and doesn't have their own preference for which page to convert, here's an argument for converting NeoLodge – they would make the page bookmarkable on the website. That is one feature greatly missing from the lodge!

as a web developer, I beg to differ. this is a design choice. it is possible to make a website that is friendly to both, yet a somewhat challenging feat if the team is composed of app developers, especially AI and vibe coders

AND it is indeed a way to cut corners if you stick to app design, which is in fact a very self imposing rule today in web development (mobile-first design)

Which page should we make mobile-friendly first? neopets.com/remacct.phtml, to remind users of one of many piles of dung in this era what they're leaving behind lol

i still prefer if one day it's an option to toggle between versions or have this layout affect only mobile. this wasn't designed to be a mobile app 25 years ago and should not be turned into it. they've already made another app for that!

The animated items would be better if the closet didn't crash any time you add more than 2 of them. They for SURE need to fix customization in general.

Also - GRAMS or a pity system for caps. It is SO AGGRAVATING to buy multiple and end up with 3 dupes of the items you weren't even interested in from the cap. I already spend enough money on NC but would more than likely buy more if it wasn't SUCH s gamble. I basically only buy caps that are on sale now.

I'm glad they're doing this. They needed better ways to get good feedback regularly. The questions weren't earth-shattering, but I'm glad to be able to give input.

The two things that stand out to me that I wish TNT would get through their heads:

1] We don't need EVERYTHING to be animated, and all animations should be subtle. I feel like they get hung up on this, and overwork things unnecessarily. Just give us items that feel natural. I don't need a million plants waving in different directions. Is it me or have they gone too far on a lot of recent items?

2] I am far more interested in items that give me options in terms of customization, than I am in overworked, over-themed items. I don't care a whit about LE status of an item, but if a cap has multiple items that are VERSATILE for me to use, I'll 100% buy that cap.

Are other people seeking out flashy, heavily themed items that are married to one color scheme and theme, or are they seeking out something easy and natural that gives options? Curious to know if I'm the only person who finds a lot of this stuff gaudy and overworked.

They don't want "real" feedback. They just want feedback that feeds into what they want to do.

I want complex NC animations because I'm hecking paying for them, come on

- I don't like gacha nor gambling and do everything else I can to not partake in it. I would rather go buy/pay, or trade for the specific item(s) I want.

A2. Monthly
- As an avid Warframe player I love the monthy Devstreams they have. It is vital to build a sense of community, see the faces behind development, and get tid bits of info of what is to come. If Neopets could do that I think it would benefit them greatly

Q3. Animated wearables?
A3. Depends on the items.
- I have no strong preference. I am okay with static pngs, sometimes the animated ones just make sense and work well!

Q4. Next page to convert?
A4. Secret Lab Ray
- Purely voted based on the one i use the most

- A free item code is a nice incentive to get people to watch (the Twitch drops bring lots of people in for Warframe), but honestly I am there for the people who will give me info about status of the game and future plans. Dom is at the head with the most info. Having the CEO and/or Creative Director there to not just answer questions but provide us reasoning to keep looking forward is important.

I agree with weirdee. This poll was created by someone who either can't figure out how to make polls. OR more likely because it is systematic, it was created to manufacture consent to things we don't actually agree with.

If they're gonna do that, then they should reward us for answering like good little children.

I wish the capsule one especially let us give proper feedback. "I don't usually buy capsules" is one I wish I could explain WHY I don't buy them, and let them know that if they sold the things as solo items, I'd spend a lot more money! Or if there was a spark system where after opening 5-10 you'd be able to pick specifically from the items!

As someone who strictly plays on desktop a lot of the "mobile friendly" pages are hard on the eyes, have generally a poor layout or less features. Neopets is a browser based game, not an app.

I like the feedback, but I don't like the wording. Why the "I don't prefer them..." and "I don't usually buy Capsules.". Let us say we would never buy or have no interest at all.

Maybe I’m a complete outlier, but even on mobile I tend to prefer the old layout. I don’t hate everything about the new one, and some aspects are an improvement, but I also simply don’t find most things that difficult, let alone impossible, with the old.
As rayen said, a lot of the new layout has fewer features than the old, or buried things in more menus than before, or changed things around in a way that seems unnecessary and still trips up my “muscle” memory more often than not.
And the display is somehow the same and yet completely different between desktop and mobile.
I concede that change is inevitable, and I can adapt without constant complaint, especially since some people do seem to find the new layout to be better. But I honestly don’t fully “get” a lot of it, at least as far as the specific new design that we got.
As such, I have no idea how I’ll answer that poll question yet
