Villain-rush
Complete!
Defeat the true villain in less than 5 turns - only 3 hits on extreme, not hard to beat
by daughters_ofthe_moon on May 26, 2026 10:16 AM NST
First 2 battles no new prizes, 3rd battle got Drakaras Wig
by daughters_ofthe_moon on May 26, 2026 10:17 AM NST
Aww, they killed the final trophy tier.. I was so curious what it would be! I was quite set on getting that final trophy too actually, in just a few more weeks!

Oh well. I wonder if this super weak Drakara (come on, I can defeat her in two turns with my main fighting pet who's not at all super powerful!) drops her wand. That would be insane XD
by apophis324 on May 26, 2026 10:19 AM NST
I quite liked this chapter
by kirbycoffee on May 26, 2026 10:19 AM NST
Jesus christ thank god they got rid of that 100000 trophy... it wouldve been attainable had the 3000-4000 point limit wasnt a thing but, yknow. Im glad this got fixed somehow
by henriqueboonboon on May 26, 2026 10:21 AM NST
Drakara does drop that book that the previous version dropped. I wonder what else she drops :3 Maybe a plush or handheld version of her staff?
by apophis324 on May 26, 2026 10:25 AM NST
She's dropping the amulet, book and crystal from her harder iteration so maybe she will drop the wand as well *fingers crossed*
by daughters_ofthe_moon on May 26, 2026 10:25 AM NST
out of my MIND with the trans allegory in this chapter!!!!!! neopets really said GAY RIGHTS
by mouemily on May 26, 2026 10:28 AM NST
I don't think she'll drop her wand. Seems like she's dropping her hair (as a wig) instead. Awww
by apophis324 on May 26, 2026 10:29 AM NST
I will say the fact that we scalped her this chapter sends me
by henriqueboonboon on May 26, 2026 10:31 AM NST
Max'd my items from bd - wig was the only new item I got
by daughters_ofthe_moon on May 26, 2026 10:31 AM NST
she does drop the amulet too
by lifeofmike on May 26, 2026 10:32 AM NST
Does anyone have a good resource they can direct me to for battle strategy against strong opponents?

I have a Lenny leveled up pretty evenly to level 99, some of what I think are pretty good weapons and healing items, and I just get seem to break through the last 3 battle chapters consistently.
by therealginganinja on May 26, 2026 10:35 AM NST
@therealginganinja: Do you have access to the Thunder Sticks (found in the Void Within prize shop) and Lens Flare? Those help me greatly. I don't even have the strongest weapons (I mainly use Blazing Embers and Sword of Malum), but with my pet I can take her down in two hits that way.
Either way, checking Jellyneo's Battlepedia might help you out too!
by apophis324 on May 26, 2026 10:38 AM NST
Aw, love Iridescia's design! And they've become the first they/them faerie?!
Drakara's aggressive wings-up sprite is super fun. For me this plot started a bit rough but I'm loving the development of existing characters, and the theme of isolation vs community. I'm glad they ran it and that it's going to run right into the AC too
by karen_mckenzie on May 26, 2026 10:39 AM NST
Is anyone else unable to complete Villain-rush? I've beat her in 2 turns and it won't complete
by will on May 26, 2026 10:40 AM NST
Well there goes my chance of getting all the achievements.
by 0ms_morningstar0 on May 26, 2026 10:43 AM NST
man if this was the first plot im super excited for what kind of story they'll do next one. they learned a ton from the first couple months of stumbling. and honestly i already liked this plot, even if it was merely "ok"...the third act has boosted it to one of my overall favourites!
im delighted by iridesia finding themself, i cant wait to see the last few chapters!!!
by ghostylewis on May 26, 2026 10:46 AM NST
Drakara gagging omg
by spotter001 on May 26, 2026 10:47 AM NST
@apophis324
Great tips, thank you!
I have Lens Flare, and I just bought Thunder Sticks (thanks for the tip). I'll look into those other weapons you have too.

Currently, I've been doing round 1 with Lens Flare + Varia is the Bomb and The Omelette Sceptre, then An Icicle + The Omelette Sceptre and Leaded Elemental Vial round 2, and I'm often getting taken out on rounds 2-5, depending on the weapons used.

I'll give the JellyNeo Battlepedia another try as well, I find it a bit confusing to navigate but I'll keep trying.
by therealginganinja on May 26, 2026 10:49 AM NST
Guess TNT was too scared to have Iridesia completely transition and create a male Faerie for once. Oh well. Kind of expected them to drop the ball on that one anyway. >_>
by wraithaisha on May 26, 2026 10:49 AM NST
@therealginganinja
try:
1- thunder sticks, wep and lens flare
2- 2 weps and icicle
3- 2 weps and burrow (or 1 wep and lev if needed)

I use wand of the dark faerie (also from prize shop I think) and illusens staff
by daughters_ofthe_moon on May 26, 2026 10:52 AM NST
I wished the 'easy' level was lower for True Drakara. Reading the above thread, I know some folks are bummed she's 'easy to beat' but for someone like me who doesn't battledome a lot and has lower level pets, 750 HP seems impossible before the plot runs out (I re-joined neo mid plot and haven't had as much time to train as I'd hope).
by unicornheather on May 26, 2026 10:56 AM NST
ok so apparently blocking True Drakara's attack using The Mystical Tablet blocked 188 dark icons
by spotter001 on May 26, 2026 10:59 AM NST
ok but the last page prize made me laugh like VERY loud. they found a nice PG13 way to say someone is gone lol
by spotter001 on May 26, 2026 11:01 AM NST
@apophis324: they didn't remove the top trophy. They only reduced the requirements: 100 k trophy -> 80 k, and the previous 80 k trophy -> 70 k. Also, Drakara doesn't drop the wand.
by stormmonarch on May 26, 2026 11:19 AM NST
first smashed fyroa potatoes and now a drakara pancake 😭 girl they want everyone dead without saying it
by rowenstarchild on May 26, 2026 11:28 AM NST
@stormmonarch: Ah, okay. Apologies for misinterpreting. Now I have nothing left to strife for

Aw, phooey. I mean, I knew she wouldn't. But it would have been nice of her if she had~!
by apophis324 on May 26, 2026 11:28 AM NST
So, I still have no reason to fight any other BD besides Malevolent Being....... sigh at this rate I am not getting that wand
by maninshi on May 26, 2026 11:33 AM NST
I wish they went the extra mile when a land turns grey and applied the same grey filter to most links in that land.
How come the Faerie City is NOT grey? or the Rainbow Fountain which is a major location in this plot?
How come Fyora is still running the Hidden Tower??? During the Wraith Resurgence we had Baelia take over her place momentarily as she became hospitalized.

It feels like there will be no major consequences to the events of this plot, not sure if I like that.
by spotter001 on May 26, 2026 11:35 AM NST
@daughters_ofthe_moon

Thank you for the advice! I will get Burrow unlocked and give it a try.
by therealginganinja on May 26, 2026 11:45 AM NST
@wraithaisha Although i'm sure we already have canon NB characters, this is a fitting first-time gender transition representation. Bold move by TNT, let's not leave this underrated.

I'm sure the they/them pronouns will bother so many hateful people, I only hope they don't pop a vein!
by spotter001 on May 26, 2026 11:49 AM NST
@spotter001 yeah I was really excited to see the lands and shopkeepers greying one by one... only for it to stop and not continue spreading to the rest of the land it barely touched in the first place. then months and years go by and those "consequences" feel null and well... void. I really REALLY hope they learn from this one and take note from previous plots.
by rowenstarchild on May 26, 2026 11:54 AM NST
So are we just glossing over the fact they turned into a whole new freaking species of faerie?! Like she went from a light faerie before to now some kind of moth given the antennae. Do all grey faeries who find themselves turn into ultra powered up Moth faeries or do they just generally become a new kind of faerie based on what they discover about themselves? Is that why some chose to undergo the greying/finding yourself ritual that was mentioned and if so where are they now? That would explain where negg, soup, space, library, tooth and battle faerie all came from since the rest are all elemental I guess.
by seven_dead_owls on May 26, 2026 12:11 PM NST
@wraithaisha
there's absolutely nothing wrong with having more nonbinary rep and this is outright gender transition representation. this is awesome and i love seeing representation for my demographic and i have no IDEA why you're complaining.

anyways the pancake made me laugh far harder than i should've, good on you tnt
by marinebeast on May 26, 2026 12:11 PM NST
Thank you TNT for tweaking the trophy tiers!
by breakingchains on May 26, 2026 12:20 PM NST
So cool to see the transformation and a more major non-binary character with Iridesia! If we ever get the Faerie Quests back through events, I wonder if this will change as them representing the previous Grey Faerie quester.
by whatevermaycome on May 26, 2026 12:23 PM NST
Dangit. I stopped caring about getting the highest tier trophy a while back because it wouldn't be attainable for me due to the cap. Now they've lowered it and I'll only be able to get to 65k points

My own fault in the end, I realize. Sigh.
by beffy on May 26, 2026 12:33 PM NST
Nooooo, why did they have to drop the trophy requirements. I wanted to keep the third tier and would have even if I maxed but now I will end up with the second tier. The top two are such an aesthetic downgrade.
by gazzletron on May 26, 2026 1:03 PM NST
For anyone else with a weak pet…I cheesed the fight with Lens Flare, Thunder Sticks, Thyoras Tear, and Thick Smoke Bomb so she couldn’t get a move in before I could chip away at her HP. There’s also the good ole-fashioned Throw Pillows method where if your pet isn’t strong enough to take her out in four moves, you can do all of the above sans Lens Flare and then just go in and get a good hit on her once a day without her getting a turn.
by bsc9999 on May 26, 2026 1:05 PM NST
I probs still won't have enough points for the top trophy dang. Started too late, only at 45k
by monster on May 26, 2026 1:26 PM NST
True Drakara is weaker than her Malevolent Being form, lol. I can 1-turn her with my Neopet and weapons.

Hopefully the final battle is more challenging.
by duskshadowbrony on May 26, 2026 1:35 PM NST
guffawed at the last prize… that’s so funny it totally caught me off guard

also very cool to see transition rep in the plot as a trans person iridescia is neat!!
by mascotyouth on May 26, 2026 2:03 PM NST
Reading the comments, it’s evident many didn’t read the story thoroughly
by 00p5h311 on May 26, 2026 2:15 PM NST
Ugh, so sad they only dropped it to 80k. I started the plot last week and was really hoping for 10k for the final trophy, oh well.
by dynohawk on May 26, 2026 2:26 PM NST
anyone else unable to battle at all rn?
i can't pick a difficulty (it's all greyed out) and choosing my opponent from any of the Act's takes me no where... click it and nothing

meanwhile my achievement and battle for
When All Hope is Lost…
is also glitched... the battle also doesn't register and my achievement is still missing...

yay.
by inkpot on May 26, 2026 2:34 PM NST
@inkpot - Are you sure you're not already in a battle? That sounds like something that happens sometimes when I'm already in a battle.
by neolodgeism on May 26, 2026 2:36 PM NST
I have a level 93 pet with 200 attack, 187 hp, 151 def, Seasonal attack pea, thyora's tear, wand of the dark faerie, thunder sticks (and lens flare) and still can't beat her. Someone have some tips for me? :'(
by raian44 on May 26, 2026 2:36 PM NST
I'm in the same boat. I can cheese 4 rounds without getting hit, but I only manage ot get about half of her HP down before she one-shots my pet! I didn't start battling til recently, so there's no way I can reach the next tier of attack/defense by the end of the plot
by ajthesquirrel on May 26, 2026 2:49 PM NST
Do you think the wand will be added to the prize shop?
by bhojanic1 on May 26, 2026 3:00 PM NST
Here's the skill rotation I recommend:

1] SAP, Wand of DF, Lens Flare
2] Thunder sticks, SAP, Warlock's Rage (if you have it) - she should be dead. If not, move on to
3] SAP, Wand of DF, Reflect (if you have it)

My BD pet is maxed out, so there's not much else I can recommend beyond that.
by neolodgeism on May 26, 2026 3:03 PM NST
If you're struggling, you can try throwing Leaded Elemental Vial in there as well, when doing a round where you can't block or freeze.
by neolodgeism on May 26, 2026 3:06 PM NST
I'm NB and I don't see transition rep at all, I just see a grey faerie that changed into the antipode of grey, ie. rainbow.
by sakaarson on May 26, 2026 3:12 PM NST
Well that was easy enough!
by contessa on May 26, 2026 3:17 PM NST
@sakaarson this key moment is a classic combo of the "Not Afraid of You Anymore" and "11th Hour Superpower" tropes. The rest is just personal interpretation. it can mean different things to different people

this kind of narrative arc closely mirrors a coming-out or empowerment story, so it would make sense why queer players connect with that specific reading. both interpretations fit perfectly fine.
by spotter001 on May 26, 2026 3:37 PM NST
@neolodgeism
you are correct... i was apparently already in a battle. XD
i forgot i was trying to change a pets gender last night and forgot to withdraw. thank you!!
by inkpot on May 26, 2026 4:35 PM NST
@spotter001 Yeah, you're right on all counts. Just annoys me when people act like it was completely intentional of TNT to make something an LGBT+ moment when as far as we know, that's just subjective interpretation lol.
by sakaarson on May 26, 2026 4:43 PM NST
for anyone who thinks its ambiguous that iridesia's transness is part of this story...
i suggest you look back at chapter 6, page 11-12, as well as the very start of ch. 16, pg. 3. its rather obvious iridesia is supposed to be trans, and their transness is relevant to their story.
as far as visual design, they now have antennae that resemble those seen on the males of most moth species. i know they can look like feathers, but it's likely both a masculine trait, *and* a tie to their old identity. it seems like a very intentional design choice, considering that 1, drakara lost hers when she became jennumara, and 2, iridescia's old feather wings are still represented by some of the shapes on their new wings. why add even more feathers? wouldn't giving themself masculine antennae- perhaps to, i dont know, alter their gender presentation- make more sense?

TNT has multiple nonbinary members; i have to imagine they were given a chance to provide input. the trans aspect is very well done, even if the early chapters of the plot are rough to read.
(also, iridescia did transition fully. they transitioned fully to nonbinary)
by ghostylewis on May 26, 2026 4:46 PM NST
@sakaarson apologies, you posted this while i was typing my last comment, but it is absolutely intentional as of this last chapter... are you only reading summaries?
by ghostylewis on May 26, 2026 4:47 PM NST
Oh goody, they dropped the trophy making that less unique, but are still gonna make me spend 2 1/2 hours every day fighting Malovolent Drakara without removing the screw you Void Asp to ruin the drop pool... they really don't wanna reward any kind of preparation or commitment outside of evil RNG that you are obligated to do and feels like a job.
by hexen on May 26, 2026 5:24 PM NST
I LOVE IRIDESIA! I'm not going to sit here and say I saw it from the start, but I did start to wonder after a while. I haven't had merch since I was a kid. BUT NEED MERCH NOW!
by nyxbie on May 26, 2026 5:32 PM NST
@hexen wow, Malevolent Drakara is a much more ominous name, it should be retconned now that we already know who "the Malevolent Being" is... unless... IT IS THE DARKEST FAERIE...
by spotter001 on May 26, 2026 5:54 PM NST
"The top three plot trophy tiers have been modified. Now, you only need 80,000 points to achieve the top trophy and 70,000 points for the next one"

I feel like it would make more sense to say "the previous one" here ^^' I'm assuming it's lower points for a lower tier trophy haha
by amethyst43217 on May 26, 2026 6:03 PM NST
I think its great people are reading and finding NB and trans themes in this chapter, but honestly people need to stop implying others can't read or didn't interpret something correctly.

I have read the story from start to the current chapter, I personally didnt find much NB themes until i saw the comments here (I fall under the LGBT+ and NB tier as well, but that shouldn't matter for the topic personally). But on the same way, reading how people interpret and pick out the themes, it can be read NB/Trans.

But the more you push or say "did you even read this?" "how are you NOT seeing it." it doesn't help in anyway, its not going to magically make people agree with you either. There is nothing said in stone, interpretation or not, so there is no reason to attack or undermind people who do see or don't see the same themes themselves. imo, it's not very inclusive if you want to attack others for finding different themes with Iridescia's self discovery.

On the topic of the actual chapter: I like the design, I also think this chapter had a lot of improvement in the art as well. Especially compaired to a few previous ones (its as if the color and vibes have returned lol).
by beezebeora on May 26, 2026 6:41 PM NST
iridesia is so cool im quite glad to see that one of my favorite faeries shares my identity
by wormadile on May 26, 2026 7:29 PM NST
Looks like people are giving helpful advice to each other. My pet is trained but not super (like I couldn't beat the Malevolent Being) but I killed True Drakara in 2 turns and took no damage on easy:

1) Wand of the Dark Faerie, Varia is the Bomb, Lens Flare
2) Thyoras Tear, Wand of the Dark Faerie, Burrow

And that was it, she was dead and didn't hit me. I probably could attempt Advanced but I'm a baby. Hope as many people as possible can beat her and get the achievement, I like seeing other Neopians succeed
by animestar on May 26, 2026 7:50 PM NST
I tried the Thyora's Tear, Thunder Sticks, Thick Smoke Bomb, and Lens Flare, one at a time with Sword of Malum, and Grapes of Wrath, and still only got her to a little less than half and she took my pet out in one. I do have Varia, but that hasn't done me any good since I got it I looked at the suggestions here and what is SAP, and what are Weps? I am not familiar with many of the BD acronyms.
by myriamele on May 26, 2026 7:53 PM NST
I have been enjoying the story all along, but today was just over the top amazing for me. Such a beautiful reveal - HUGE payoff to the story that's been developing. I'm surprised anyone is having difficulty seeing the trans/NB elements here. Pronoun change aside, if you take the time to read the longer text passages, there is a lot in there that directly speaks to some of the struggles trans people face.

"Even as blasts of dark magic whizz by them, a sense of calm falls over Iridesia. For the first time in a long time, maybe for the first time ever, they feel completely weightless. It was as if something celestial had been unlocked, as if they could finally see the world in colour. All those ordinary parts of life that seemed so daunting before, things like walking past the mirror, meeting someone new, and hearing their name out loud, suddenly weren’t so scary anymore."

Of course, everyone's experience of identity is different and therefore everyone is going to experience the story in a different way.

I understand that it might be frustrating when people say they're shocked that you can't see what they're seeing, but equally it's frustrating on the other side because failing to see those elements feels like erasure. Not sure what the solution is - how about everyone just let people enjoy the story based on how it lands on them?
by neolodgeism on May 26, 2026 8:04 PM NST
@neolodgeism i was going to leave a second large comment explaining my thoughts, but you covered most of the same ground before i finished... i'm still posting some of it because i like talking about this story.

There are a lot of relatable elements to iridesia's story, even for someone who isnt trans, or isnt nonbinary. That's because baelia/iridesia didn't just realize that they wanted to be nonbinary. ch16 pg3 tells us a lot about who Iridesia is, and why that is the identity Baelia embraces: Iridesia is a crafting faerie, giving them a purpose in life. They are strong, courageous enough to confront Drakara about the pain she caused, powerful enough to fight back when she tries to hurt the people they care about.

It's not a personal failure to miss themes until they are pointed out directly. I dont want to make anyone feel stupid for having a different reading, i'm just confused by seeing others insist these themes aren't present at all. We don't have to deny the narrative relevance of Iridesia being transgender to appreciate everything else their transformation entails.
by ghostylewis on May 26, 2026 8:59 PM NST
The writing of this final act reached a high level of excellence!

I like the fact that it's not just comics, because it allows for a more robust narrative. For me, it's truly enchanting. I say this as an avid reader and a curious writer.

Even for those who aren't transgender/non-binary, the narrative of The Void Within deals with self-acceptance, depression, exclusion, rejection, and punishment. These are elements that touch the heart of anyone who dares to be human – I say "dares" because being a functional human and giving vent to your feelings is still a very arduous task.

I see a lot of criticism of the plot's simplicity; I see many people talking about "the power of friendship saving everything," as if that were a bad thing. I don't think it is. It's a simple story, yes, but it achieves exactly what it should. It's a story with childlike elements, but for a mature audience that still plays Neopets today. And the fact that Nyx, someone who has been away for so long, is an analogy for returning players is the icing on the cake.

I have MANY criticisms of how the plot was handled. TNT has already admitted that they didn't know what they were getting into when they conceived this project—episodes that lasted three weeks, months of hiatus, annoying glitches—but I believe the plot was an honest project, with a good story, that also taught them many things.

And I reflect: how many problems in the world would be solved if people simply... resolved their inner voids?
by allanmennezess on May 26, 2026 9:52 PM NST
I truly feel privileged to:

1) See Neopets alive in 2026.

2) See a story with this theme unfold, in a simple way, on a website founded in the last century, competing with PlayStation 5, Xbox, PC gamers, and various better-developed games.

I am passionate about the power of writing. And today's chapter showed all that power.
by allanmennezess on May 26, 2026 9:55 PM NST
Regarding Drakara, spoilers below:

I found it ICONIC that she – apparently – died the way she did. She's a vengeful faerie, but without any personality whatsoever. Iridesia hit her extremely hard: she received a new name and a purpose, so why does she still see herself as Drakara? She's still stuck in the past. She's still that amalgam of fire fairy and gray. She can't be who she is. She even takes orders from someone else (The Darkest Faerie, clearly, but I don't know if she appears in the plot at this point or if it will be a TO BE CONTINUED for the future) and has no accountability for her own actions – she was using Vira and Ozzy as her pawns.

She is, in fact, someone who loses to the consequences of her own actions. And there she is... crushed by the very monster she summoned from the Void.

Iconic.
by allanmennezess on May 26, 2026 9:59 PM NST
Hi there! Anyone an idea how to "Defeat Drakara" with a pet with max hit points of 235? I have Hanso Charisma Charm, Leaded Elemental Vial, The Power of Friendship, Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife, Water Whip, Thyoras Tear, Thunder Sticks and Wand of the Dark Faerie equipped. What should I replace with what? Or is there a strategy that I could win this battle anyhow? At the moment I just survive for two or three rounds without making some serious damge ...

@ghostlylewis - Very well said, I completely agree.
by neolodgeism on May 27, 2026 2:46 AM NST
@ghostylewis Yeah, 100%. It's silly to claim there's no such themes when it can obviously be interpreted that way. It's also silly to claim people are somehow in the wrong for not having the same interpretation. I know someone with depression who strictly saw it as a depression metaphor; having to cover up their depression, present differently so people didn't know what was going on, et al. Totally valid just like the other ways to interpret it.
by sakaarson on May 27, 2026 2:53 AM NST
(Which is also closer to how I saw it. Lol, I can't write just one comment apparently, but in my defense it's 3 in the morning and my brain is much. But I'm done now!)
by sakaarson on May 27, 2026 2:55 AM NST
@sakaarson i did also see it that way to an extent. in fact i was shocked (but delighted) when the narrative went with trans baelia rather than disabled/depressed baelia.
i anticipate "greyness as neurodivergence or mental illness" will be addressed through ozzy in the next chapters. ozzy was born grey, and delighted to feel represented by a grey paintbrush, as opposed to baelia feeling restricted after being forcefully greyed. (:

That would be awesome to see with Ozzy! I wonder if Vira would return and tie into it somehow. If I remember right, the last time we saw her, Drakara kinda chucked her into a tree?
by sakaarson on May 27, 2026 3:31 AM NST
I hate the Villian Rush achievement is so hard! I have gotten them all so far, but I don't think ill be able to get this one. My best is level 88, and he takes one hit, and that's a wrap.
by shorty4444 on May 27, 2026 4:15 AM NST
I will say that despite enjoying TDF being mentioned, conceptually what she stands for and her characterization, it is a bit tired to have her behind a good chunk of the plots and main events for a couple of decades now. Just kill this lady already

As a trans guy, I'd love to see a trans faerie or just a male one. I'd also like an NB one for NB folks.
by bodhi on May 27, 2026 9:25 AM NST
sooo we've had to remove a bunch of comments in here

first and foremost, transphobia is not welcome.

completely separately: we love a lively discussion but please avoid making it personal.

finally: please keep your language Neoboard friendly.

Thanks everyone

Good job monitoring, Kenny ^^

Iridesia might be a name that's a bit on the nose, but we also have a Fire Faerie named Ember and a Water Faerie named Marina, so it's not too out of the ordinary. And their hair looks so cool now ^^ Plus, despite being all about all facets of light (which is awesome, them being an ex-Light Faerie and all), they also still have some Grey in them. It's nice they kept that as part of their identity too, I think.

Just in time for Pride month too~!

If you just want to beat Drakara once and don't mind having a pet stuck in battle for a few days, switching out Lens Flare for Throw Pillows and getting a hit in once a day is worth it if your pet isn't strong enough to get her down to 0 solely using Lens Flare, Thick Smoke Bomb, Thunder Sticks, and Thyoras Tear. Basically:

Day 1, Turn 1: Throw Pillows + 1 weapon + Thunder Sticks
Day 1, Turn 2: 2 weapons + An Icicle
Day 1, Turn 3: 1 weapon + Thick Smoke Bomb + An Icicle
Day 1, Turn 4: 1 weapon + Thyoras Tear + An Icicle
Day 2: Throw Pillows + 2 weapons
Day 3: Throw Pillows + 2 weapons
etc. until you beat her.

Basically the Space Faerie method for anyone with a weaker BD pet
by bsc9999 on May 27, 2026 11:33 AM NST
You won't be able to get the achievement using the Throw Pillows method unless you can get her down to 0 on that 5th turn on Day 2, but if you just want to get a win in that's one way!
by bsc9999 on May 27, 2026 11:34 AM NST
Oh shoot, I misread the achievement and I guess it's 4 turns to get it, not 5. Sorry But a win's a win at least! And lmk if I messed up anywhere, I'm not great at the Battledome (which is why I know how to hit with weak pets in the first place lol) so terms and turns might be messed up.
by bsc9999 on May 27, 2026 11:36 AM NST
@bsc9999 Thank you!!! I got my achievement following this method, even though I finished her off on the 2nd day (but maybe she was low enough that 1 weapon was enough to knock her to zero so it didn't count as a full turn?),
by 0ms_morningstar0 on May 28, 2026 7:23 AM NST
Well that's freaking bs. They had all the achievements reasonable even if you aren't a battle dome person. Now, nope. You're SOL. YEARS worth of plot and trying to MAKE SURE you get all the achievements? Wasted.
by _wolfspirit on May 28, 2026 8:10 AM NST
@animestar I tried that method and only got her to about half health by turn 2 and then just died on the next turn. :<
by fozfyre on May 28, 2026 8:41 AM NST
@0ms_morningstar0 I'm so glad it worked for you!! I wonder if the achievement actually accepts a win in 5 turns? Or if you're right and it didn't count as a full turn? No clue lol.
by bsc9999 on May 28, 2026 11:24 AM NST
@_wolfspirit - In previous plots there were always things you couldn't get or achieve without having a BD pet. That is the only reason I trained my BD pet and started getting good weapons.
by neolodgeism on May 28, 2026 11:46 AM NST
There is another page out btw
by katerinx on May 28, 2026 4:23 PM NST
If it makes anyone feel better about not being able to beat Drakara in 4 turns, I trained my pet like crazy before The Void Within started and we still can't beat the Malevolent Being.

I really love the new pronouns but this is really really really bad writing. this is so bad. this is so so bad. it's been bad the entire time but with character Growth being replaced by characters exclusively having constant revelations all the time this feels like they just wanted a totally new character without them going through this realization themself! Iridesia could have at least acknowledged the pronouns in dialogue and offhandedly mentioned they feel like it suits them more. I guess we know why they won't give us any "grey faerie" merch in the faerie collections, if they've been trying to get rid of the design all along.

I do also like that they still have a little tinge of grey in their design, but this feels terrible. I'm so glad they've finally found their new identity but I wish it would have come with maybe some writing!!

Unrelated to completely throwing away that personality and design and effectively creating a brand new character: the number of pages that are just the dialog box portraits with walls of text is ridiculous. I know they're just churning this out to put the whole thing behind them already, and when I saw how many there were I just thought that's how it was going to be, and then the call to the next BD assault page is 2 lines click-through dialogue anyway! If they're pressed for time and resources then what's the point of expending the resources to code 2 lines of dialogue? It's not like they don't have the assets for the characters, they're still using the portrait assets as static images
by mercy_graves on May 28, 2026 10:24 PM NST
I also really love their new design though, at least, I'm always happy to see more nonbinary characters being added to the site, especially implemented as a lore-important character.
by mercy_graves on May 28, 2026 10:26 PM NST
dang, I can't get this achievement no matter what.
by reputaylor on May 29, 2026 6:16 PM NST
Hi!! I know eveyone giving out tips for defeating true drakara but I don't have the Thyoras Tear (and it's not on the void prize shop anymore) or the Thick Smoke Bombs (they are very expensive right now), so Idoes anyone have some tips or advice to defeat her without these eqquippment???
by giane_8 on June 1, 2026 10:53 AM NST
I'm having a real hard time getting past page 7. Any suggestions?
