GIVE IT UP FOR SWAMP GASSSSS

It's weird that they added a mane to a pet that doesn't have one, and it's included with the tail. Trying to make Lupes and Varwolves even closer xD

That Doglefox companion is utterly adorable. But TNT *does* know there are other petpets than Faellies and Doglefoxes, right? Seems like they come back to these a little TOO often. Again though, SUPER cute ^ w^ If I had a Lupe, I'd want one of those.
Something about the Mountain Lupe seems odd though. As if they wanted to go for a scraggy look, but gave up half-way. The face also looks a little like it doesn't fit.
I love the background though!

Swamp Gas is.. fine.. And the manes and tails are.. not too terrible. And hey, they sell them together instead of separately for once! ^^

Not crazy about this Pet Day, unfortunately. Swamp Gas, the elemental manes and tails instead of an actual wearable set of clothing are mutually disappointing.

And the Mountain Lupe Pet Day cap? Is it inspired by something? Because it just feels far too similar to the Tyrannian Lupe sans tusks, to me...and the Ty Lupe design is far better, in my opinion.

I'm thrilled that four-legged pets are finally able to carry things in their mouths (a feature way overdue) but agree that TNT leaning into the Faellie/Doglefox hype is overdone for the sake of the plot (is it over yet?). And pleased that it can actually be used with ALL Lupe colours. Hopefully, they'll do a bit more of this for other items (and NOT just NC!).

Guess now is as good as time as any to introduce a new project I've been working on over at the Neopian Times Writer Forum: The Species Clothing Theme List.

Inspired by complaints on JN about Wearables nowadays no longer being singular clothing pieces but rather complete body swaps or entire clothing ensembles combined in one or two items, I have made a list of clothing "themes". First list goes by Species, second list goes by themes & tries bundling similar concepts together.

The point of this list is that I believe one reason TNT is doing the body swaps/entire-ensemble-in-one is because figuring out what clothing themes have been done already and for which species can take a bit of time (not to mention there are several themes which share a concept). So by making (and maintaining) a list I hope it cuts the time figuring out which themes can be done for a species so they can get more quickly to work making that clothing set.

I would like to put this list on one of my Neopets Petpages as well as send TNT a ticket so they can have copies of the list for themselves to plan with, though before I do I'd like to hear is anyone has any comments or suggestions. You can either make a post here or send my a neomail. I hope this list helps, if not TNT than maybe inspire someone to check out all the neat clothing themes species have gotten over the years.

ough, the color match on the ice accessories is soooo bad for almost ALL lupe base colors water, ice, blue, cloud... it looks ok with stealthy at least :S

love the accessories and items but.... the color, REALLY ???

Also feel like the skin looks like Balto, but I don't recall anything else in the movie aside from that - like the backgrounds don't seem familiar. But I've only seen the movie (at least the first one) once or twice, and I just mostly remember lots of snow, lol. And maybe a dog who thought he was better than everyone else.


I do wish there were more P2 reps though. I mean, okay, Doglefox makes sense here because canine, but aside from those, Faellies, Slorgs, and Meowclops, you don't see many other reps. Like, where are the reps for P2s like the Millipod? Crabula? Navibot? Something that's not seen very often? Or heck, an avian? Idk...I do feel tired of seeing the same few P2s as well, especially when so many more exist - and can also still fit the criteria.
