Tales of Dacardia NeoPass Linking Fixed

An app version update for Tales of Dacardia has gone live in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store earlier this afternoon. The patch notes claim the issue with linking NeoPass has been resolved:

The Neopass progress reset issue should now be resolved. For users who experienced data loss, we are doing our best to restore any purchases where possible.
You may need to proactively visit your device's app store to install the update. Opening the app itself will not force you to update.

If you are successful with re-linking to NeoPass, but find your progress still is not restored, we highly recommend reaching out to official Tales of Dacardia support, especially if you lost any paid items.

If you were affected by the glitch and are successfully able to link your account after updating, let us know in the comments!

I lost my whole account in this glitch I put in a ticket and am waiting for more! Hundreds of omelets, items, experience, decoration, all gone.

I hope they can restore it for me! I'll keep the crew posted.

When I go to submit a ticket it says unable to submit a ticket check your email and I of course get no email either

Highly doubt this is fixed and the malware application isn't worth re-downloading. Losing over 7 months of progress is a serious issue.
Only trying to "restore purchases" is a take... lmao

Just saw a screen shot of the in game announcement (since my progress was wiped I can't see announcements)

"For users who experienced data loss and have connected our support team, we're unable to fully restore all progress. However, we will provide an adjusted end state along with compensation for items and Pearly neggs spent, and will restore purchases were possbile"

Please allow a few days for these updates to be applied.

I wasn't affected by the glitch because I had uninstalled long before the issues arose and made no attempt to reinstall during the glitchy times. I just reinstalled it to test it out now, and as far as I can tell I haven't lost any data or progress. Everything in the app is just as much of a dumpster fire as it always was, and nothing has changed. Uninstalling again for my own sanity.

yea... "doing your best".... I think they just gave everyone who got the game resetted the same "game state"... which is far less than what I had

I guess they only care now that it affected everybody. I just kept getting an AI response and it closing my ticket for months.

I'm so sad that this happened, and especially during the better prize time. I didn't really like getting as far as I did and now I gotta do it again?? Ugh

got mine back....things are just tossed around, afraid to try and move anything. seem to be missing some small items but every else seems to be okay....can only play on my phone, ipad doesn't work anymore....

I was having sync issues between two devices (playing on one wouldn't register when playing on the other), but this update fixed it for me! No loss in event or weekly streak progress, which was what I was concerned about.

I had long since started over. The moment I had lost everything I knew there was no coming back, especially because I didn't learn or take a screenshot at my.... gilberish of an ID that only appears at the start of the app, which I had no Idea had any Importance

Can't do nothing but be pissed at them. I lost like 101010 or 101035 pearly neggs, a dozen of thousands of apples and strawberries Individually, over a thousand of each resources each, hundreds of gold mine carts, etc.; even the altador stadium, the main source of pearly neggs generation that doesn't need any resourse expense, and there Is nothing I can do about It.

Meanwhile I still cannot collect my site rewards b/c despite being linked to my Neopass account, for some reason my NeoPETS account has come unlinked from Dacardia (despite still being linked to my Neopass account) and I cannot get it to relink.

Lost everything, have put two tickets in so far with zero response. Happened to my Faerie Fragments account, too. I am basically ready to give up on both of these POS apps.

Update:

Submitted my second ticket after getting an "We're aware and working on it email", this time in more detail. Lets see how long this goes on for.

I think it's rather strange that the minute neopass offers double on the weekly prizes, both game go and glitch.
