Quick Stock Page Updated

Today, the Quick Stock page has been updated to the new layout.

Quick Stock is now split up into pages with 20 items each, no matter how many items are in your actual inventory. This should prevent any unfortunate breaking of the page if you accidentally move 5,000 Piles of Dung into your inventory at once. However, it is a marked decrease than the previous maximum of moving 70 items at once via Quick Stock.

A new option, 'Chamber', has been added, which allows you to move Pet Styles to the Styling Chamber through the page.

You no longer need to double click a checkbox in order to unselect it once it has been selected. Now, only a single click will do it.

UPDATE, April 15th: In today's New Features update, TNT has acknowledged the feedback on the new Quick Stock page:

The Quick Stock page has officially been converted to our modern layout! While this conversion brings better mobile support and inventory stability, we’ve heard your feedback and reports. Our team is already working on updates and fixes to ensure the tool remains fast and functional for everyone. Thank you for your patience and for helping us improve Neopia!

Honestly I am not a fan, I liked having everything on one page. They should make a drop down for how many are displayed at once, and also make the rows thinner. This just feels like a waste of space.
by msmickii on April 15, 2026 6:35 AM NST
Horrific. Takes up two or three times more space for the same amount LESS covered. I mainly play Neopets on a laptop and I don't understand why I have to be tortured with mobile layout everywhere.
by amethyst43217 on April 15, 2026 6:42 AM NST
Why is it huge!? I thought I had zoomed in by mistake.
by pixie on April 15, 2026 6:46 AM NST
The original layout was simple and fit for purpose. Why do they have to make it fancy?
by hermessiu on April 15, 2026 6:46 AM NST
Do not like this at all. No Premium Toolbar & Portal access from here anymore. And now no listing of the columns at the bottom so people do not accidentally discard something by mistake. Just my opinion though.
by darface on April 15, 2026 6:55 AM NST
Takes up more space, displays fewer items. This sounds like a downgrade to me.
by benladesh on April 15, 2026 6:57 AM NST
Like amethyst said above I also play almost exclusively on a computer, not a phone. I can see how this could benefit mobile users but to me it feels like a downgrade - except for the single click to deselect, which is very nice to have.
by andantena on April 15, 2026 6:58 AM NST
big, clunky, and doesn’t even show my whole inventory? thanks tnt, this is exactly what i was hoping for.
by tisbutaneko on April 15, 2026 6:58 AM NST
So this what been keeping them too busy to work on the plot, huh?
by pandarenegado on April 15, 2026 7:03 AM NST
How did they manage to make it worse in every way? Only 20 items at a time is crazy. I'm glad to see they have their priorities straight 🙄
by tinyzuko on April 15, 2026 7:04 AM NST
I hate everything about this. I also play on a computer, and the old quickstock was my go-to link to do everything from.
To make it worse, if you have nothing in your inventory, you get absolutely zero links to anything. (You get an image of your pet and "You do not have any items " but the whole links bar is gone.)
And the /x page is now broken, so while you can see the old style, nothing about it works.

Put it back, TNT. This is terrible. Massive, MASSIVE downgrade here.
by dillpickles on April 15, 2026 7:06 AM NST
20 sure is a choice. endungification.
by diceroll123 on April 15, 2026 7:06 AM NST
Overall this is a nice change but it definitely needs tweaks. It should show 50-70 items instead of 20 and it would also be nice if the header that says which radios are which scrolled with the list on mobile since thee list scrolls horizontally and leftmost one might not even always be stock.
by will on April 15, 2026 7:09 AM NST
This is horrible, the entire beta layout is a disaster
by auberdine on April 15, 2026 7:11 AM NST
So far, no one who commented has liked it. Me neither. I don't like this. I thought I zoomed in accidentally, and I can't see everything at one time. I normally keep less than 50 items. They should have just kept it at the previous number, whatever that was.
by a_holly22 on April 15, 2026 7:11 AM NST
I can get behind only having 20 pieces at a time as long as I can deselect on mobile browser. clicking every single bubble individually because I need to keep three items in my inventory for quest log is such a massive pain that I actively try my best to avoid doing it unless I get expensive items in there. :'v
by boredun on April 15, 2026 7:12 AM NST
The idea is just so dated. Add a "select" button to the inventory page, let me select multiple items and then decide where to move them. Bare minimum, add images to the Quickstock page.
by commiewords on April 15, 2026 7:14 AM NST
I guess will liked the change? But I also agreed with both your points: 50-70 items instead of 20 and a constant or fixed header. Maybe they are aiming for more accidental donation to the Money Tree?
by a_holly22 on April 15, 2026 7:14 AM NST
Pro tip: add a slash to the end of the URL to get the old layout

20 per page is absurd and antithetical to the idea of quick stock.
by kenny on April 15, 2026 7:17 AM NST JN Staff
The /x quick stock doesn't move items anymore, though. I tried.
by dillpickles on April 15, 2026 7:18 AM NST
Respectfully this is a solid top 10 worst UX downgrade I've seen so far
by softbuff on April 15, 2026 7:19 AM NST
I don't like it. The original Quickstock was far better. I don't like everything being spaced so far apart and now it's on multiple pages. The older format was far more convenient. I haven't really liked any of these new revamped pages. It seems like everything is zoomed in and too large. Although the new Bookshelf feature, I don't like because it's too small. You can hardly see the items on the shelves.
by liesha on April 15, 2026 7:24 AM NST
lmbo Shed doesn't work. bring the old one back
by neo111186 on April 15, 2026 7:27 AM NST
Wow. This is Google levels of "we haven't changed this in a while, so let's make it worse". I hate this.
by arktus on April 15, 2026 7:29 AM NST
uffda.

quick stock that doesn't show everything and that has a design so spread out vertically you have to scroll a bunch more to see the items it DOES show, and the buttons spread out horizontally too...

complete miss. give us the old style back.
by suzuka on April 15, 2026 7:30 AM NST JN Staff
Much worse than before. It was clear and everything was on one page. I don't understand why they choose to modify this when they have many others to modify
by babyhelen87 on April 15, 2026 7:33 AM NST
terrible design. the top line is not fixed in place so you can't see when you scroll; where is the option to put items in your shop; takes up WAY too much space on the page, if this is what AI improves things, let's go back to folks with a brain, huh?
by mini_abu on April 15, 2026 7:40 AM NST
Horrible design. Not nearly as functional as previous and honestly not even very nice looking.
by neopony on April 15, 2026 7:44 AM NST
I only ever use quickstock, rarely the main inventory page, but now everything is awful.
by chesampson on April 15, 2026 7:45 AM NST
Much easier on mobile now but 20 items is a pain
by lanaspearls on April 15, 2026 7:45 AM NST
I don't like this change. I prefer seeing my neocash items and being able to transfer them on the quick stock.
by yingtien888 on April 15, 2026 7:48 AM NST
Why would they make it WORSE and LESS FUNCTIONAL, this is the Trading Post all over again

nobody on this team understands usability, all they care about is CSS
by purrmeister on April 15, 2026 7:49 AM NST
ughh this is horrible, such a waste of time! So much spacing for no reason and multiple pages, what?? They should at least make the page 1 up to 70 items!!
by fairyalex on April 15, 2026 7:49 AM NST
Oh, another thing I hate. It spreads it out soooo much they you can't even see what you're clicking the "check all" button for because if you have more than 10 items, you have to scroll down.

Wow, TNT. Just wow. This keeps getting more and more terrible.
by dillpickles on April 15, 2026 7:49 AM NST
So, two suggestions to TNT. If you want this current way to be the "default" as you think it helps the mobiles users, fine, BUT can you give players the following additional options to change it to:

1. Shrink the space. Why is there so much room between each item? Take a look how the old Quickstock listed the items, that's what I feel most players would want.

2. Give us some options of how many items we can see at a time. I'll be honest, 20 isn't a lot. Like, I would have done 50. I'd also wouldn't mind some bigger numbers like 75, 100; maybe even 150 and 200. The old Quickstock was capable of handling those numbers, it was really only when it got to the thousands was there some issue.

Otherwise it's fine. Like, I do like I don't have to double click to undo a pick I did anymore.

Also, if I were to add one other suggestion: Including the Rarity (and Rarity label) next to the item like on the normal Inventory page would be nice to see.
by pikachu315111 on April 15, 2026 8:00 AM NST
slow, laborious and awful, from the look to actually using it. HORRIBLE! impossible to bulk move items.

how do they constantly make things worse?
by petodiepet on April 15, 2026 8:04 AM NST
why ? go fix defender of neopia instead 'fixing' things that aint broken and make sure your so called plot get done first. holy crap cant they do anything right and these 'updates' are even worse then win 11 ones
by scr3wdriver on April 15, 2026 8:04 AM NST
This will be a nightmare doing donation events like the fairy quest event
Please give the option to use old Quickstock, this isn't quick
by premium17 on April 15, 2026 8:04 AM NST
This is what we call a downgrade. Yes they "fixed" something but why is it so bad on mobile, which is supposedly why the site originally underwent the hideous remodel we have now?
by eureika on April 15, 2026 8:06 AM NST
Hate it
by inzey on April 15, 2026 8:08 AM NST
Huge downgrade, so tedious. I keep a few items always in my inventory for dailies (feed, groom, read, play). Now it takes me three pages to move items to my sdb from a full inventory and I need to uncheck these items every time for each set of 20 items. Ugh.
by saraluna on April 15, 2026 8:09 AM NST
I hate this, thanks TNT. A quality of life DOWNGRADE for sure. Love Kenny's tip of adding the / at the end to get the old layout.
by corgigal on April 15, 2026 8:13 AM NST
20 items is... not much for a quickstock page. a bump up to 50 items per page would be better and matches most players' max inventory space
i also agree about the spacing being a little off, i really wouldn't mind less padding overall per item row
and yeah, making the headers/column labels fixed or at least repeating them at the bottom of the page would be an improvement

as it stands, i'm not a fan of this update
by tani on April 15, 2026 8:13 AM NST
Moving 20 items at a time, down from 70, really isn't "quick" is it. I now have to spend 3x the amount of time moving things. Great.
by kiriska on April 15, 2026 8:14 AM NST
This is awful! So many mistakes can be made!! and it will take forever!
by molnarc on April 15, 2026 8:16 AM NST
Whyy.
Adding the / was seemingly noted as I, at least, cannot move anything on the old screen.
by nicx321 on April 15, 2026 8:21 AM NST
sucks tbh
by anniesnothere on April 15, 2026 8:27 AM NST
Absolutely trash!! They could have capped it at least near the normal inventory limit of 50*

* (I know some have 60 or maybe more from past Charity Corner perks)

It's like everyone @ TNT involved with this thought process does not use quick stock and never has.
by pancake on April 15, 2026 8:28 AM NST
Change it back!!
by midnytgurl on April 15, 2026 8:31 AM NST
I rely on being able to use my computer keyboard for accessibility reasons. This update has made it so I can no longer easily use the tab button and arrow keys to go between item lines and to select the correct button. It's still doable but with a lot of extra fuss. Such a pain
by jubilarian on April 15, 2026 8:38 AM NST
You still can move 70 items all at once. It works across pages.

guys I don't like it when things change lol
by monster on April 15, 2026 8:53 AM NST
Couple of comments here about how this was made for mobile, but I think it’s even less usable there. I used to be able to scroll out and see everything but now I can’t read the column without scrolling up and down. And it’s a total pain to scroll the table left and right as well. My first thought was that it was designed for larger screens.
by mcseagangster on April 15, 2026 9:04 AM NST
major downgrade... where and why and how would tnt think this is a good change?? do they even read these comments? are these supposed community ambassadors actually helping the player base and the site? i am not so sure...
by pjune93 on April 15, 2026 9:05 AM NST
As per usual, whenever they see an old page that worked well, they decide to make it new.. and make sure it doesn't work as well anymore. I don't care as much about the bloated size.. but why are there multiple pages? Sure, I get it, it works well on mobile. But when will this website become more PC friendly again?
by apophis324 on April 15, 2026 9:07 AM NST
I feared for the day they updated Quick Stock, and it's what I feared.

I hope they take feedback into consideration and fix it.
by alkseeyakc on April 15, 2026 9:08 AM NST
Nope, this is horrible. As others have mentioned, it takes up more space and it decreases the number of items you can move at once. On my laptop screen, the options don't even fit on one screen horizontally, and I have to scroll for no reason. It's just bad CSS. The "select all" buttons are only at the bottom of the screen, for some reason, where the column names are no longer visible. But the BIGGEST issue I have is that the "select all" button for a column doesn't actually select the radio buttons, so I can't deselect individual items. So if you want to deposit more than half of your items, you now have to click more than before.
by chasingsheep on April 15, 2026 9:12 AM NST
also why add another non working ad button to the top of the page.
by bedomi on April 15, 2026 9:15 AM NST
Also, just so everyone is aware: This is also how the SDB will look and function once they finally convert that. Enjoy~! ^^;
by apophis324 on April 15, 2026 9:26 AM NST
I wish they would tighten the rows up; condensing the space or freeze the top bar as I scroll down. Otherwise, I'm super not a fan
by wearethe_ghosts on April 15, 2026 9:26 AM NST
On a personal note, the quickstock page is usually the page I went to to see if I had any notifications to deal with. At least the old version of the page still loads and can still be used that way.

@apophis324 oh no
by arktus on April 15, 2026 9:31 AM NST
I guess I'll just be doing one at a time from the inventory now.
At least the old one had headers spaced down the list so you could always see the categories.
by purplebin on April 15, 2026 9:32 AM NST
This is my nightmare lmao. I keep a lot of neocash items in my inventory because I'm sorting through them and I'm slow and I'm also bad about keeping regular items in my inventory. Usually I just clean it up every few weeks. Currently I have 567 pages apparently, and no way to find a certain item or certain page. whyyyyyyyy
by amegirl24 on April 15, 2026 9:40 AM NST
the one-click de-select is about the only nice thing from this conversion. I agree with everyone else about the spacing, the too small item limit, the headings that aren't totally visible.... I'm a PC user, and the mobile layouts are so bloated and clunky, and this one is no exception.
by dalekruler on April 15, 2026 9:43 AM NST

by premium17 on April 15, 2026 9:44 AM NST

What Premium17 said is so right! --> Once again whoever is making these "improvements". does not play the game.
by contessa on April 15, 2026 9:54 AM NST
Along with all of the other issues... why does it go back to page 1 after you move stuff?? That's really annoying
by westie037 on April 15, 2026 9:58 AM NST
Note: even though you can go back to the old page by adding the /, you cannot actually use it to move things, arrgh!
by contessa on April 15, 2026 10:00 AM NST
Booo!
by happydufus on April 15, 2026 10:00 AM NST
@arktus - me too! Used quick stock for notifications and event log. With all the conversion and "improvements" to pages, where else am I supposed to access functioning features on this site?
by dalekruler on April 15, 2026 10:13 AM NST
I literally neverrr complain about changes but this was the one that got me. I'm so mad haha. Like why are the rows SO thick??? I appreciate the one-click de-select, yes, but otherwise...geez. I feel like I have to hit "zoom out" every time I use it from here on out. And I keep barely any items in my inventory - I can't imagine what it must look like for people who have way more.
by bsc9999 on April 15, 2026 10:39 AM NST
I saw this on the site boards and went to test it myself (it works), but it does keep selections from previous pages. If I select all on page 1, then go to page 2 and select all there then submit, it says 40 items got moved, and they were. It still has a notification that you can only move up to 70 at a time if you have more, but it's not limited to 20 at a time like people think.
by rallozarx on April 15, 2026 10:40 AM NST
where else am I supposed to access functioning features on this site?

I'm currently using Quickref and/or MyShop for the navigation. When those get a 'mobile-friendly' hatchet job I'm not sure I'll stick around any more.
by recklesse on April 15, 2026 10:43 AM NST
@recklesse: Almost abandoned attic is still an old page too. That's why I often use because I have it bookmarked
by apophis324 on April 15, 2026 10:47 AM NST
I continue to hate all of the 'new' site layout pages. The day they change the quickref page, idk what I'm gonna do to navigate the site lol
by sophieea on April 15, 2026 10:56 AM NST
I'm not a fan of this "upgrade" either. Also, it would be nice to have an image of what it is you have in your inventory when you go to the quick stock page. Would make things a lot easier, but I see we are not trending in that direction...

This has to be absolute proof TNT doesn't actually use the site much. No one in their right mind, who has ever regularly used quickstock, would make some of the choices that were made here.

My main issues:

1] 20 items is absolutely ridiculous. What is this, 1992 with dial-up? Come on! I can't believe anyone would find this usable. We should have the option to view all items. ALL. And we should have the option to move *at least* the maximums we used to move. Nothing less is acceptable, especially for anyone who seasonally moves hundreds and hundreds of customization items between closet and SDB. Heck, 20 doesn't even get me through moving my battledome and other dailies items around.
2] This was a 'hub' page. Does TNT not realize this? How do they not know this? We absolutely need all the links that were there previously. Replace that useless 'instructions' box with a panel of links to all the other things we used to be able to access through that page.
3] This is absolutely BRUTAL on mobile. No way to see the categories on a form that scrolls both vertically and horizontally unless you're at the top of the page. What could possibly go wrong?

And here is one of the absolute worst, most egregious usability problems with this form - and, frankly, with any form design I've ever seen (does anyone at TNT have usability experience at all?): THE FORM REMEMBERS YOUR INPUT EVEN ON THE NEXT PAGE. WTAF

Literally nothing else on the internet, no other app, functions this way. This is going to cause a lot of problems for people who accidentally move things, thinking the form resets every time they turn the page. This is how, for example, Neomail functions. This is how JN item DB functions. This is how everything on the planet functions.

You can't just reinvent new rules for how things work and expect people to understand it! That's not how usability design works.

This had a chance to be a really huge win for TNT, but once again they totally shat the bed. *sig

by gazzletron on April 15, 2026 2:10 PM NST

by dimir31blueblack on April 15, 2026 2:17 PM NST
The "N/A" text fails accessibility color contrast minimums. All of the radios are missing programmable labels.

Design wise, there is too much padding around every row element. It looks better if you uncheck the style .quickstock-table.np-table tbody td {
/* padding: 21px 10px; }

Also, if upgrading this page, why not include the images for the items? That was something missing form the older version. All this space makes it look like there was supposed to be added images, but they decided to skip that.
by verakaii on April 15, 2026 2:33 PM NST
i rarely comment, but i gotta say, this is awful. its so ugly, and i thought the one before was bad. man what a miss. the ONLY thing i like is that there is just a single click.
by poopsiepie on April 15, 2026 2:33 PM NST
Well, if I'm looking for something nice to say, at least I'll be able to unselect stuff while on mobile? I mostly organize my items on my laptop because it's faster and easier, but quickstock was a little awkward on mobile since tapping things one by one is slow and selecting all didn't allow me to unselect the things I didn't want to move.

In all other respects I hate this and I don't know why they thought ruining something that worked great instead of fixing real problems was a good idea. In NO universe did I want it limited to 20 items, that's absolute insanity.
by ruruskadoo on April 15, 2026 2:40 PM NST
If the column headers were frozen it would be tolerable, but since it doesn't all fit on a single page without scrolling I think it's dumb. Why is everything so huge when it's revamped??
by should_b_working on April 15, 2026 2:54 PM NST

absolutely hate this update, i loved the old quickstock page because it was actually QUICK. after doing my dailies today i had multiple pages of stuff to move via qs with this update, when before it would have been literally two clicks to move everything to my sdb (like i always do, and sort through it later if and when i feel like it). also new page is honestly just ugly, it takes up too much space and the colours don't even match my site theme so it clashes like crazy. so disappointed

So now, if I want to discard a bunch of daily prize junk, I have to go to the second page because the the items shown are too few at once? Ugh! As a PC user, this is really a bother compared to the old layout.
by ninsqueak on April 15, 2026 5:21 PM NST
Quick stock ain't quick anymore, basically? Awful update
by lena9016 on April 15, 2026 6:13 PM NST
This is my absolute least favourite change, they've made it completely unserviceable!!!
by iamatinyowl on April 15, 2026 6:36 PM NST
Like, I keep a bunch of items in my inventory always so I can actually only move like 5 items at a time.
by iamatinyowl on April 15, 2026 6:38 PM NST
They must not actually play the game to have done this.
by burntcookies on April 15, 2026 6:48 PM NST
for the first time in a long time, I really HATE the page ! Really hard to see things, really hard to move items easily... hope they change it really fast, its hard to move anything.
by maerycrow on April 15, 2026 6:57 PM NST
Was excited to read "Pro tip: add a slash to the end of the URL to get the old layout" from kenny but sadly it doesn't work
by burntcookies on April 15, 2026 7:00 PM NST
Personally, I do not like it. At least with the old quickstock, when I had no items, it still had the ribbon of other inventory options. Like I could go to my shop, SDB, etc from there. But when I have no items now, there is not ribbon.
by forever_future on April 15, 2026 7:15 PM NST
the new design is cannot name as QUICK stock . totally low speed to tidy my stock now
by bebeetea on April 15, 2026 7:37 PM NST
This is...wow. This is bad. And I can't even use the old quickstock anymore. Don't you just love having options taken from you?
by bdtiger880 on April 15, 2026 7:54 PM NST
@burntcookies: My now bookmarked linked with that still works (or rather, hasn't been "fixed" yet). Dunno if the comments section is okay with full URLs, but mine ends in "/quickstock.phtml/" without the quotation marks.
by arktus on April 15, 2026 8:05 PM NST
When I select 'Chamber' to try to move Pet Styles to the Styling Chamber, though the popup shows "X items successfully moved to their destination!", nothing actually happens. Very strange.
by laffytaffy on April 15, 2026 8:07 PM NST
@ neolodgeism:
Actually, I just checked all the "Hub Page" links (BTW, your Shop still have the main hub links if you prefer using it), and either through what they did include on the page or the new site's side bar/top bar, most of the "required" links are still there; just in different places:

Focusing on the missing links:

* Neopia Central, Bazaar, Plaza & Marketplace: Direct links are missing but easily able to get to via the Explore page. Remember these set of "Hub" links are archaic and made back when Neopia Central was treated as the go-to land for purchasing the essential items (Food, Toys, Grooming, etc.). But that was 1999, this is 2025 and now Neopia Central is more or less just another land. Sure its still treated as a market hub of sorts (which is why it doesn't have an Altador Cup team), though we now have over a dozen other lands each with their own unique shops and features, so it's not the pivotal to have a direct link to it anymore.
* Shop Wizard, Auctions, Trading Post & My Shop: Accessible via the Top Bar's "SHOPS" drop down menu.
* Bank; Clicking on your NP amount now directly links to the Bank.
* Battledome: Not only is the link to the main BD page on the Top Bar's "GAMES" drop down menu, but you can also use the "Equipment" link.
* Guild Headquarters: Accessible via the Top Bar's "COMMUNITY" drop down menu (simplified to just "Guilds").
* NC Mall Album: Accessible via the Side Bar's "My Albums" drop down menu.
by pikachu315111 on April 15, 2026 9:18 PM NST
The only ones "truly" missing are:
* Notice Boards (https://www.neopets.com/noticeboard.phtml): When was the last time YOU visited this page? Heck, I'm not sure if its still even updated, though gotta say there's quite a nice amount of artwork down there now looking through it. But still, hardly a required link.
* Neohome (https://www.neopets.com/neohome/): *SIGH* Hopefully one day we'll either get Neohomes 2.0 working again or they just make the HTML version into Neohomes 3.0 and move everything over to it. Once they do they'll likely add it to either the Side Bar (probably as its own thing) or Top Bar (probably as part of "EXPLORE" or "SHOPS" drop down menu). Meanwhile you can at least access your Neohome via your User Lookup page.
* Item Event Log (https://www.neopets.com/items/transfer_list.phtml): It's now the "Transfer Log" on the Inventory page.
* Neopets Tool Bar: When I click on the link it leads me to a blank page. Yeah, it's not needed anymore.

So yeah, honestly the issue here isn't that Quickstock is no longer a "Hub Page" but that you need to know where the links are now. A bit of a pain but once get used to it it's not that big of a deal; they also have the "Bookmark" feature now for pages which support it.
by pikachu315111 on April 15, 2026 9:28 PM NST
This is the absolute WORST update ever. Neopets needs to realize the old charm has kept all of us playing for decades and we want it back. In this mobile push, they're failing to realize tons of us prefer to play on computer. And also, that in general, we like how things are. No one asked for this, no one is happy. And quite frankly, the beta site pages are ugly.

And if this is the future for SDB and Shop, it sadly might be time to call it quits. Because this is so stupid.

We invest in the site, we buy premium, use NC shop - the least we can have is keeping the things that made us stay here in the first place. Really disappointed by all of this.
by neomania2018 on April 15, 2026 9:45 PM NST
I swear I’d volunteer to clean these layouts if given the chance, they look so clunky—even on mobile! Also the ads everywhere cover half my screen and heat up my phone, thanks TNT.
by plantera on April 15, 2026 9:56 PM NST
Wow, terrible update.
I use mostly phone and this layout is awful.
I much prefer the old one. I'm used to just zooming in when needed. Seriously, who thought this was a good design? Only 20 items a page, no way to sort or filter, way too huge on the page, so much scrolling, etc.
The only good thing is unchecking an item is easier... that's it. Just that.
by willy on April 15, 2026 9:58 PM NST
Glad to see I'm not the only one who hates it lol
by acedemiro on April 15, 2026 10:01 PM NST
aw rip in peace I used quickstock to easily check my inventory/SDB or customize. looks like I'm back to my old buddy tarla for some of those because I know they'll never update that page since it uses flash
would love if the people who decided on random updates to websites were users of the sites first. and also if they were aware that sometimes people prefer the desktop version of a site over the mobile version and therefore do not want mobile features on desktop
by ckvdprwx on April 15, 2026 10:59 PM NST
You can deposit less at a time. Bad update, imo.
by zenopeltis on April 16, 2026 12:35 AM NST
Hey, they're listening to feedback! That could be nice
by apophis324 on April 16, 2026 12:39 AM NST
@pikachu315111 - I guess I just think of hub pages as a completely different thing. The whole point of a hub page is for there to be quick easy access to things, not to have to dig around in menus. And admittedly some of the elements that I use most on the original page are not strictly links from that upper area.

For example, I like the old days when clicking on your NP would take you straight to the inventory, or when clicking on NC would take you straight to the NC mall. It's completely idiotic that they changed those destinations. How often are you needing to go to the bank versus going to your inventory? Not nearly as much right? How often are you going to be buying NC vs browsing the NC mall? Not nearly as often. The most successful interface elements should always be used for the most commonly performed actions. But there's nobody on the team who understands basic usability.

I hate the new menu system, especially on mobile. It's not that I don't know where to find things it's that I have to dicker around with a menu rather than simply accessing something with one click like I've always done.

But that's not nearly as big of a deal as some of the other issues. Bottom line every aspect of this page used to make things quicker and now it does the exact opposite.
by neolodgeism on April 16, 2026 1:44 AM NST
The most *accessible* interface items should always be used for the most commonly performed actions.
by neolodgeism on April 16, 2026 1:45 AM NST
😭this defeats the entire purpose of quick stock...I don't want big buttons I want a spreadsheet with all the radio buttons squished together so I can use them quickly. really hating all the new layouts more and more i miss seeing the bones of html
by ribbonleaves on April 16, 2026 7:49 AM NST
I haven't seen as many people mentioning this, but I really hope that they add the quick links back to the "no items" page. After doing a quick stock, 99% of the time I want to go straight to my shop or SDB and it's so annoying that they just vanish at the exact instant I need them.
by rowona_may on April 16, 2026 8:33 AM NST
How often are you needing to go to the bank versus going to your inventory?

This as well. Probably my least favourite thing about the new layout. And there's a lot to hate.
by smaragdeidechse on April 16, 2026 8:33 AM NST
I mainly play neopets on mobile, and I’m so tired of them calling their design updates “mobile friendly.” They are not! They’re claustrophobic.

I’m glad the team is taking a second look at this update. I think they need a real UI designer though.
by toru_ on April 16, 2026 10:32 AM NST
As a designer, so this is so bad. QS needs toggles:

- Items per page: 50, 100, 500 items per page
- Row size options: s, m, L
- Show photo: Y/N

BOOM, DONE, SIMPLE
by fleana on April 16, 2026 10:46 AM NST
Check all needs to be at the top and let me do 70 items again :/ 20 is less items than i get from dailing each day and now I have to repeatedly empty out my inventory, scroll and empty again. Awful
by littlespacecase on April 16, 2026 11:07 AM NST
IT'S SO BAD OMG
by void_dweller on April 16, 2026 12:43 PM NST
Commenting again because I hate it this much

One of the most awful things coming back to the site was the "upgrade" of the inventory. Everything takes ten times longer. I'm not a fan of the screen refreshing and reloading after EVERY click. It's gotten to the point people have to do stupid Inspect Network hacks to be able to get those random refresh avatars (Baby Play and Sandcastles for instance).

So I skipped inventory like 95% of the time and went to quickstock because it was QUICK.

And then now we have this stupid garbage that not only takes LONGER but also isn't user friendly and doesn't serve the function of being a stupid QUICK stock. The 20 item limit is RIDICULOUS. Add on all the other criticism said already; the fact that you can't tell what you're checking off for because the header isn't fixed, the HUGE redundant spacing, that quickstocking to Shed is broken (I know no one cares about Neohomes but they made it, it should work!). It's just SO dumb. I hate the mobile "upgrades" of the pages, most of them aren't upgrades.

I could use the old quickstock on mobile just fine. No one asked for this urgh
by neo111186 on April 16, 2026 1:27 PM NST
"The Quick Stock page has officially been converted to our modern layout!"

this script helps a bit with the visuals, at least until TNT fix it proper

this is awful
by goalkeeper50 on April 16, 2026 6:42 PM NST
It was one of the worst updates i've ever seen in ANY game. Why fix something that wasn't broke? and how the hell can you possibly make that 100x worst than before? god damm, they did a bad one this time
by renovattio on April 16, 2026 6:56 PM NST
Are we not being loud enough? Why didnt they just revert it back and then take our feedback and work on an OPTIONAL mobile layout?
by forestmon_4 on April 16, 2026 7:46 PM NST
You can still move 70 items at once. It remembers your selections when you move to another page. So you can select across several pages and then hit a stock button.
by veldomert on April 16, 2026 8:49 PM NST
IT'S SO BADDDDD I might actually just stop playing because of this (super casual player here, but i do have premium as a way to support). It's so horrible, it's taking up so much space ugh just makes me lose interest more.
by itsmaritzi on April 16, 2026 10:32 PM NST
@marinebeast holy dung THANK YOU. WOW. LOOK AT HOW EASY THAT FIX WAS, TNT, AND IT CAME FROM PLAYERS!
by neo111186 on April 17, 2026 1:49 AM NST
Ew, why did they do this?

It's so much more messy than the original.
by duskshadowbrony on April 17, 2026 6:05 AM NST
The old quick stock page doesn't work anymore. This sucks.
by digitorsomething on April 17, 2026 8:43 AM NST
My problems are simple: it's too dang big. There are no convenient links to your gallery. All that, and it's more visually unpleasing than the old layout. Fun fact: mobile users (such as myself) can actually deal with the old layout just fine (excluding the ads).
by digitorsomething on April 17, 2026 8:45 AM NST
It looks fine at about 80% size, although I think each page should list more items.
by digitorsomething on April 17, 2026 8:47 AM NST
It's still hard to use since each item has a very thick row. Before this, there was no need for scrolling. Also, isn't it possible to tell if you're on a computer or on a mobile device? The solution would be to keep the computer layout for computers, and switch to the mobile layout if on a mobile device.
by digitorsomething on April 17, 2026 8:48 AM NST
Quickstock -> Slowstock
Now I have to go through 3 pages to clear my inventory. There is no reason to make it so it cannot handle at least 50 items at once.
by litszy on April 17, 2026 2:27 PM NST
It is truly horrible and unneeded.
