Ooh new negg coconut album item!!

Oh, no. Got all neggs on day of release, but not yesterday. I checked yesterday and got that spider petpet and thought that was it.
So, since I'm completely missing the last negg, I got the 2nd to worst prize category. Nice. *facepalm*

The avatar seems to be a Mono-alphabetic Substitution cypher, when I put it in based on the animation of which letters come after the other, the text reads: MOST REAL

for the first time since i got back to neo in 2021 i showed up every day for this event xD pretty happy with the prizes!

This was a fun event, loved the twist with the clues

I got two green checkmarks so I'm glad I still got the av and album item and only missed out on a background. More than happy with that!

Why on earth are they giving out a site theme for the old layout that should have been phased out years ago...What a mess.

Me too Lia. Got all checkmarks but one negg done the day after the clue and didn’t get the tier with the coconut stamp. I’m so annoyed.

I'm kinda mad because I thought it's all done when I got the petpet yesterday, so I ended up with the worst tier. They should have given us the petpet AFTER the last negg is found

'ed - Hadn't realised that solving the last clue and collecting my negg prize hadn't registered - so 13 days hard work lost and I get the basic prize. Suspect it was something to do with the new petpet being awarded, or when they updated the Quick Stock Page causing a glitch. Had really wanted all those neggs for my gallery ... ah well, at least I got the avatar! Will put a ticket in but doubt they can do much, it's a game glitch, like previous Altador Cup problems! Hope no-one else has had this happen.

Wow, a nicely designed avatar that isn't just a faeries big face in a square. Shame about the stark white background instead of leaving it transparent or having the book thinly highlighted white though considering the neoboards are grey and peoples profiles are generally many different colours but can't have it all I guess. Another square avatar it is!

from my previous comment - Just realised what must have happened, I solved the clue and went to Grundos Warehouse and collected my negg prize but I didn't go back to the Faerie Festival Site - maybe that is why my solving the clue didn't register.

Eek, after reading several posts here and on the Neoboards, I think TNT should maybe reconsider the "on release day" requirements for Events like these. Like, taking Festival of Neggs for example, does it really matter to the grand scheme of the Event if someone chooses to solve the clues every single day or decides to do it on the last day (or, more realistically, they either forget a day or just don't have a lot of personal time so can only check on Neo every couple of days)? I don't think players who do solve the clue daily will complain, doing the clue daily just gives that player the reassurance they aren't missing anything; players who are catching up have to double-check to maker sure they got everything they missed.

This isn't like the Advent Calendar where the gimmick is that every day is a new prize, nor is it like some past (and in my opinion better) Festival of Neggs where there were "mini-Neggs" which gave you an additional prize for finding all 10, but were daily (so if you didn't find all 10 by the next day they refresh and you lose out on the additional prize, though the additional prizes were just r70-98 restockable items so no big loss). If an event gives a player who is late to join/misses a day or few a chance to catch up, I don't think they should be penalized for it.

Of course, it sounds like this year there was an extra issue where the new additional prompt of getting the Scramblid caused some players to either be locked out getting missed Neggs or didn't realize their was one more additional Negg as the page didn't refresh to show Zaira had more dialogue. So yeah, that's gonna really mire what was overall a decent Festival of Neggs.

@pikachu315111 - It makes a difference to TNT if someone solves the clue the day it's available, or waits until the last day to do them all. Incentivizing users to log in daily to solve the clue increases the average number of daily active users, which is an important metric for websites like Neopets. For the event itself, it doesn't matter.

Oh wait, checked my history, I got distracted yesterday and missed it! By one last day. Ouch.

An ALIEN negg . . . awesome!

I got the petpet prize from Zaira instead of the last Negg clue, so I only got the 'some neggs' prize, too :/ The last (missed) Negg doesn't even show up in my history. So bummed!

I also did not get the last one somehow. Really not fair I had set an alarm and everything and checked daily.

Wow what the heck with that last day clue. I had the same issue where I didn't get another clue and I went through all the dialog. Even looking at the history, there's nothing indicating there was a 15th negg for me and I got the petpet so I thought I was done. Makes me wonder if it was bugged.

I didn't get the petpet either. I also forgot to collect neggs on two days (I still went back and got them eventually) but I guess that disqualified me from getting the avatar.
