I found it a little disappointing that Kari just *found* this year's nuisance Petpet. At least previous years had a little bit of animation and such going on. ... And also it's a spider so it needs to be yeeted into the Magma Pool ASAP

I enjoyed solving the puzzles this year.

What I really miss is the old Jellyneo Negg hunts. They were so challenging and fun. I wanted to go back and look over the comments again, but couldn’t find anything on site. I thought I remembered you having the old hunt pages on site, but perhaps I’m wrong. Anyways, thanks for those old hunts, they were fabulous.

You know, I'm actually satisfied with the revelation to this year's mystery. I was wondering how were they going to answer how Zaira was obviously being affected by something yet it's not a curse. I was wondering if they were really going to go with it's just some extreme magical condition Zaira had which only worsens when she's nervous, and that story with the actor was just a red herring. The fact they promised a new Petpet and the actor left their Petpet behind (and later the actor made a full recovery) probably should have clued me in that it was going to be something involving the Petpet. Kudos on the twist TNT, you got me at least!

On the Scramblid:
* It's cute enough; based on a Peacock Spider which, if you can get over the spider parts, are cute (reminds me a bit of "Lucas the Spider", which is also a jumping spider species though a less colorful species).
* Interesting it has the rather powerful ability to cause one's fears to manifest as a defensive mechanism when its afraid (not clear if its just a personal illusion only the individual with the fear is affected by or does everyone experience the illusion. Like in Zaira's case it would only affect her, though in Seshatia's case are the books only scrambled to her or does everyone see her books as scrambled? If the former I guess its reasonable, if the latter than seems a bit OP. Eitherway would make for a good story hook).
* Not sure if it quite matches any Neopet Species (maybe the Ruki? Ironic to pair it with the Buzz. I guess it's lore sorta matches with the Varworf) so its up to preference there (though probably go well with a Halloween Neopet).

What an adorable little spider! Once I can get a yellow one, I shall get one and call it Joltik!

* Speaking of which, could see some creative Colours with it, especially with its abdomen. Guessing the base would be either Black (if they go by the base body) or Blue (if they go by the markings). But I could see Halloween making its abdomen a pumpkin, Pirate have a hook, Maraquan make it a hermit crab, and etc.. Maybe they could reference Lucas with Tyrannian (and other jumping spider species with other Colours if they can match them up).
* Finally, a small complaint: It has no description. Well, it does, but it just says it was a prize for this year's Festival of Neggs. Where's the flavor text about it's fear manifesting defense mechanism? I could see them leaving it out to not spoil the story if it somehow got released early, but they should add it back in now as things went as planned.

Anyway, that's all from me until tomorrow where I'll give my opinion on the entirety of this year's Festival of Neggs.

Adding onto potential new colors, the little guy being based off a peacock jumping spider gives it a TON of potential for having some wacky and insane color combinations. I hope they do rainbow or faerie in the future, those could look wonderful!

* Yeah, it did feel a bit sudden until the actor's Petpet was brought up again as a "oh yeah, I guess they did hint toward something". Maybe they could have done something like at certain point it could have mentioned you first find a "string" hanging off the Negg you found, then a "wad of wool", then a husk of a Petpetpet (later implied to have been a meal), and finally a piece of a web. Though maybe TNT didn't want to spoil it was a new spider Petpet.
* Magma Spider would be pretty cool, they should definitely let you use the Magma Pool to paint Petpets Magma (that what you were implying, right ).

Nice indeed, though I also wish they would:
* 1. Make more Coloured Petpets.
* 2. Make some new species, preferably at least one for each Petpet Shop.
* I feel this would be rather easy content to create. Heck, maybe get community input on this like asking what Coloured Petpets would players suggest and if there's any missing animals, mythical creatures, or other things which could be a basis of a Petpet (maybe focusing on the themes of the various Petpet Shops).

This event was really fun this year! I tried to solve most of the puzzles myself, but woah, they got a bit too tough for me in the end, haha! Thanks to everyone who solved them and shared the answers!

I got the final Negg today without noticing that I hadn't done yesterday's at all. I do remember doing it, though... I think I could have done it today for a green check if I had seen it first, but it won't let me now.

I wouldn't be too bummed about missing a day. If we go off what they did the last few years, the Final Prizes are going to resemble this:

* Everyone Gets: Scramblid, New Avatar, Unlock Festival of Negg Site Theme (if you don't have it), Participant Prize (usually a Toy/Plushie or Gift). PREMIUM: New Album Item & r99 Item.

* Find All Neggs But Not On Released Day: New Collectible Charm & One each of this year's Neggs. PREMIUM: A "simple" wearable.

* Final All Neggs On Release Day: New NP Background. PREMIUM: New NC Background.

So, yeah, all you're missing if you didn't collect the Neggs on release day is just an additional background (two if you have Premium). Considering the Album items (the Charm and whatever the Premium bonus gives) are usually the ones which become the most valuable, if you like the background it should be easy enough to get from another player.

Though, I'm curious what they'll do for the Participation Prize and Collectible Charm this year since last year both of them were based on Zaira (Zaira Plushie and Zaira Collectible Charm).

I was pleasantly surprised that this year we got a full 15 puzzles, some of which were fairly challenging, some decent prizes and a complete storyline. Overall a succesful event!

I love the new petpet.

I love spiders. I have 4 brown widows. Keeping them since they're invasive and release would be bad. So interesting to watch sometimes.
I hope they make more colors based on the jumpers. They can get quite colorful.

I think they are adding more scary items and neggs to everything and I don't like it! Rememmber Bloomin' Neggs? Negg Festival is supposeed to be about Flowers aand bunnies and cute stufff not ugly, scary spooky stuff. They are bring this horror element into everything.

Well, this was strange - every festival before, all the eggs were eventually given out and opened... this one, I didn't get the final detective one, and instead received a choice of the three I already have all the prizes for... oh well, I can't say I really liked the detective prizes anyway

I'm so mad at myself for somehow missing a day. Hopefully the top prize isn't too awesome (it will be)

@reyal: yellow means it is collected on the day of release, green means after the day of release.

Hey, this is weird.. The Item Database talks of an Alien Negg that was given out as a final prize.. But I didn't get one of those and I do have all the golden check marks!

Great final prizes as well. That negg celebration background is adorable, and not as aggressively neggish as the others. I used to complain about this art style but it's really grown on me a lot and I've grown to really love it.

My only critique is that it would be nicer if they would make some of the prizes more usable year-round by making them not quite so heavily themed for the event. As it stands, whenever an event like this happens we get prizes that we could only use for like maybe a week or two a year and that's disappointing.

However, it was a really good event from start to finish, including the prizes and the way everything was put together. A good much-needed win for TNT.
