"Hop Into April" Email Going Out

TNT has sent out an email update this morning with a summary of what's recently launched and what's coming soon to the site!

Here are some of the highlights of the new stuff that we have not yet reported on:

NeoPass Quest Log Bonus Weeks
Beginning Monday, April 13th, the weekly NeoPass Quest Log quests will have fresh, rare item prizes being given out. In addition, the NP rewards will be doubled from their usual amounts.

This will run for two full weeks, ending Sunday, April 26th.

Stay tuned to JN next Monday when we'll begin collating the prize list!


Wheel of Monotony NP Sink
You may remember this being teased back in February's email. In short, you will be able to spend NP to make the Wheel of Monotony spin faster and not have to wait two hours. The email claims that this is live, but it's still not out yet—hopefully soon!


Kaia Quests Refresh Coming Soon
A refresh to Kaia's quests are coming this month:

Kaia Quest Prize Pool Update: Kaia is preparing new prizes to reward users who complete her quests. Stock up on Pink Paper Bags and Faerie Quest Fortune Cookies!

In addition, the following upcoming NC content was teased:

  • Spring Dyeworks: A new batch of popular items will be recoloured just in time for spring styling.
  • Trendsetter Mystery Capsule Update: Our fashion-forward team of Feepits has been analyzing new styles and is working on an updated Trendsetter Mystery Capsule!
  • Dream World Superpack: Take a bath on the cliffside or fall through transparent floors with this magically surreal superpack!
  • Palette-able Body Paint Mini Mystery Capsule III: Even more body paints to give your Neopet a new full-color look!
  • Spring Cleaning Sale: Five of last year’s Gift Box Mystery Capsules were discovered in storage, so we’ll be letting them go at a discount! Get them for as low as 75 NC!

Next Pet Styles Teased
The next upcoming rotation of Pet Styles (probably next week, around April 15th) have been teased by TNT. This set features Prismatic versions of Ethereal Void styles, along with brand new Water styles and Prismatic versions.

It will be interesting to see how this quest log thing works out. I actually stopped doing it after the removal of the stamp, and when my streak randomly reset for the umpteenth time, with no option to use a streak freeze and after having missed no days.

They have a long way to go before this feature will be truly appealing to me again.

It will be interesting to see what the Neopass prizes will be. I stopped doing the normal weekly ones but play the aps daily.

I should have been paying closer attention to the message. This bonus week thing is only for the Neopass quest log. That's a total non-starter for me. There's nothing on this planet that could induce me to re-install Tales of Dacardia. Nothing. They could put in there the very few extremely rare, impossible to find Sloth items I don't yet have and I would STILL not reinstall.

I do the Faerie Fragments quests only because I like that game, and regularly play it.

The regular quest log, I also stopped doing a few days ago - as I mentioned earlier - because my streak reset just 1 day away from claiming my prize, without any option to use a streak freeze. That option probably didn't trigger because I DIDN'T MISS ANY DAYS. And with the removal of the Bottle of Blue Sand Stamp there wouldn't be anything in that pool anymore that interests me.

So I immediately bought the prize I had nearly earned - the spotted red scarab - rather than start over on it after all those days. NEVER AGAIN.

The endungification of the quest log has completely obliterated any interest I once had in participating.

The Yellow Prismatic Water Styles is an interesting choice seeing as what the DW yellow jars of magic and the rain effect in yellow are nicknamed by people i know

Interesting that one of the Water previews looks more like a beach? Like, even the collar is different. Could be interesting, but I'm too poor to waste money on NC these days.

The Void Shoyru colors look more metallic than void.

Ah, you're finally mentioning Neopia Quest on Jellyneo, eh? Bit late, seeing how there's less than ten days left of that campaign.
@gun: Yep. Over 500 of those people actually (myself included). GhostFire Games is not the same company as Geekify however, so it's always fair to give someone else a shot at a crowdfunding campaign. Plus the game is vastly different in terms of how it's played.
That being said, they too probably feel the burn of the aftermath of the Geekify incident, as they're being very minimal in what they show about the game. My guess is that TNT needs to verify the information GhostFire Games releases and they are probably very slow with that (again).
