New Event
Another in-app event has started: the Enchanted Egg Hunt! The event runs from today through April 29, with the prize shop open for an extra week through May 5.
The event is similar in mechanics to what we've seen before. Clear levels, complete daily quests, collect , and earn in-app prizes, including more "Fragments" to unlock Ascor. It also sees the return of the Hatchery feature from last year's instance of the event.
There is also a paid event track with additional prizes for $6.99 USD (this will increase to $9.99 after the first two weeks of the event).
You can also earn an exclusive item prize on Neopets.com. If you have NeoPass connected and earn 3,000 Bronze Coins during the event, you will earn a new exclusive item.
The event also includes a prize shop. This functions similar to the previous event, where prizes are not only limited to 1 per item per player, but also an overall total per item per restock.
Badge Collection
This update also introduces a new feature: Badge Collection!
This feature allows you to collect "badges" for completing certain gameplay milestones. A new set of Achievements has been added for collecting certain numbers of badges, which comes with new in-app and Neopets.com prizes. Some badges are always available, some are seasonally available, and others are available only for the duration of a specific event.

I'm also having the issue with the prize shop not opening and the icon being glitched (it's just a white square). I can earn coins though.
Had to go to the App Store - locate Faerie Fragments and update from there - my FF was not offering auto connection this time. Once loaded on App Store clicked "open" and then the "Update Now" option appeared and started downloading on the site. Be warned, it is quite a long download.
