UPDATE, January 30th ~4:30PM NST: TNT have posted another update in today's New Features that the event will restart on Monday, February 2, at 9am NST. Scores submitted already will be wiped, and scores submitted until then will not count. The end will be extended to Sunday, February 15.
Hello Neopians! Since the launch of the Solitaire Soiree on January 29th (1/29), our team has been closely monitoring the leaderboards and your feedback. We discovered a bug in the new Sakhmet Solitaire II game that has affected the integrity of the scoring in the leaderboards and event. We have deployed an update to the web version of the game and submitted a corresponding patch for the Companion App to mobile app stores. This update ensures that all game session scoring are tracked accurately and fairly. To ensure the competition remains fair we've decided to reset and restart the event to provide a clean slate for everyone. All scores submitted between Jan 29th (1/29) and Feb 1st (2/1) will be cleared from the event leaderboard on Feb 2nd, but the page will be left open for anyone who wants to practice!
The Solitaire Soiree will officially relaunch on Monday, February 2nd 9:00 NST and end Sunday, February 15th 11:59 NST. Prizes will be awarded on Monday, February 16th. Thank you for your patience and for helping us make this new event the best it can be! Get those decks ready!

⚠ ATTENTION: We've identified a bug within the scoring system, to ensure accurate and fair scoring for all participants we will be resetting and restarting the competition soon. Please stay tuned for details. In the meantime, can continue playing to practice if you wish! Thank you for your patience and for helping us make this new event the best it can be!
As of right now, that means that the event is now paused and new submissions will not count. The bug TNT discussed allowed users to improperly gain perfect timing scores, and has been fixed on the desktop version already with an update out for the Companion App which also fixes it there. We'll keep you updated on any further developments.
The Sakhmet Soiree event is now live! An updated-once-daily leaderboard is up, and will be the place where you can track your scores and progress in the event.
The event runs until February 11th, 11:59 PM NST. Participating is simple: play the new Sakhmet Solitaire II game and send the highest score you can achieve between now and the 11th! Your highest score during this 2 week period will be your leaderboard entry and will determine your final placing.
You may only send up to 3 scores per day, or 4 if you're Premium or activate the new Extra Score Submission Fortune Cookie. So, avoid sending your lower scores if you're hoping to get something higher to send by the end of the day.
Both scores sent via the Neopets.com site and scores sent through the now globally released Companion app will count for the event.
A list of prizes is also shown on the "How It Works" tab, with a mix of new items, re-released items, trophies, and an avatar.
