If it's more limited than mobile playing, what exactly are the perks??

tnt... if you're listening... please add 'simple' dailies like the Lab Ray, Fruit Machine, Kiko Pop etc So far the app looks so nice! Can't wait to see what else is added as time goes on

If only this companion app had come in BEFORE the whole destruction of the browser website. If such an app existed, they wouldn't have to go ""mobile-friendly"". Now we're stuck with a half-ugly-half-operable (you pick the halves) browser site and a companion app that does basically the same thing as the ""mobile-friendly"" website does.

If they aren't even gonna give all the wheels, why prioritize Misfortune???

They'll probably add more stuff eventually

@apophis324 100% true. TNT needs to flesh out this app and revert the abomination of a layout they tried to implement.

Kiko Match III has conection issues.

Really excited for TNT to add more features, but until then, I'm playing Sakhmet Solitaire on the bus

I’m actually quite happy with the companion app. The interface is pretty nice. I do hope they add the rest of the wheels and more dailies.

I truly underestimated how bad this app is... You can't even manage your inventory, literally only possible to feed items. No reading, collecting, playing or even using potions. I think I'm missing the point of its existence.

My #1 hope for the app by far is being able to get notifications for Neomails and trade offers.

I'll be willing to try it once you can use it to complete your daily quest log. If I can't log in and quickly knock out my quest log at the very least I don't really understand the point.

I don't get the point. A shortcut on your homescreen which opens the browser on Neopets is more effective and useful...

At the very least Fashion Fever Is pretty easy to play for the sake of quest log, and partly won't bother with watching an ad before playing It or refreshing upon replay.

Yeah the app is barebones and they should spend more time fixing the site instead, but it does let me play Solitaire on my phone so I can slack at work and get a teeny tiny amount of neopoints from it so it's all good in my book.

this might be nice bc some people might prefer to handle dailies and so on the go
surely it'll get better and more features unless it gets canned

the daily quests and needed features to complete them should be the next priority imo along with the connectivity issues

then more dailies, all inventory actions. hopefully eventually full content

that being said, i agree with apophis324 & auberdine since im partial to the old layout and get a bit sad and annoyed when new pages get the refresh

Ah, a good addition to the app should be to let you customize your neopets

If you spin a wheel needed for the quest log.. It will NOT count it as being done!

I'm fairly impressed with the beginning of this Companion app - a bit wonky with connections, but eh - i like that I can play solitaire wherever I want to and on whichever platform - PC using browser, iPad using companion app, or android phone using companion app.

I'd love to see more games added such as slots, the simple games where you just have to poke a button to move along... such as NQ/NQII, lmao.

I normally only play Neopets on the PC's browser and right now - no premium - I haven't decided if it's worth getting it again or what. Gotta explore my options. I'm going back and forth between Neopets premium membership OR the kindle unlimited membership, actually. Which one is more beneficial for me.

I cannot play Kiko Pop on the browser on ANYTHING - PC, iPad, nor Phone. Not even when I did have premium. So, I still don't even know what that game is like.

I'd love to have the majority of the easy dailies on the companion app - that would be a great great thing, BUT if they are put there - that playing them COUNTS towards the Quest Log, please.

I am super thrilled that TNT dropped the "Top 10" avatar idea for the Solitaire thing. Woah. It sounds like the backlash was especially intense for them to have dropped it so quickly!!!

Avatar artwork is usually one of the things that make me super thrilled to see - but for some reason, I feel like the "participation" avatar is kinda lackluster in its artwork. Sorry to whoever created that avatar - it IS well done, but it is kinda boring to look at.

Curious on how many ads this thing will have. I kind of assumed that was the sole reason it existed, to evade adblock, but I may just be cynical.

📢📢📢WARNING📢📢📢 If you spin a wheel in the app it doesn't count on your quest log but still block you to spin it on the web because "you already spin the wheel today". I proved it with excitement wheel on mi account and misfortune wheel on my wife account and got the same problem

If an unlimited wardrobe gets added to the app, I'm on board. Not worth it until then.

Echoing the warning to NOT spin for your QL on the companion app, since it doesn't count. Also, I spun the wheel of Misfortune and landed on the icon that gives your pet an illness, but the pop up told me the pant devil stole one of my items.

I also wonder if that companion app will award wheel avatars. I'm thinking I will not risk it until it is confirmed by TNT.

I'm looking forward to the potential this companion app has. It would be nice to complete QL on the go!

I fine useless apps annoying! I have apps for important things, playing games is not important and just takes up space. So no apps for this!

The Neopets App Name Poll!

I have login problems. I get redirected to the browser to login to my NeoPass but it won't go further.

I tried linking my existing account to neopass and it won’t work. This is frustrating. So much for trying the app

Can't log in; constantly gives an error on the app page after I type in my Neopass info. The info is right - typing it wrong gives a different error (was testing). Uninstalled and reinstalled, tried on various internets.. it does not want to connect.

[I'm just thinking Ideas, though obviously everything neopets has to offer should be there ]

this app actually rocks?? there's a few things i think would really make it great tho:
- all the wheels, pls. maybe some of the other hourly dailies as well, just sorted under a general "daily" tab instead of just wheels?
- sdb / quick stock features would also be neat. just simple inventory management, esp with wheels that can award items
- the feed button should be able to be swapped out with other interactions like playing and reading
- this is just me, but like, what if tapping them had them speak or say a pre-set list of lines like when browsing on the previous website layout? or made sounds, or changed the pets expression, like one of those pet care phone apps? i feel like a lot of what neopets is missing is the connection w our pets nowadays

but i already am in love with the design and layout of this app, the little noises when you tap and the little pet face silhouettes are so cute and so so so something TNT would do. i just wish they added more pets that could appear! and having solitaire on the go is the best. i can't wait til they add more games!!!

I’m also having issues logging into the app. I keep getting “Something went wrong while logging you in. Please try logging into your NeoPass again”

I like it so far, I'd like to be able to do most of my dailies there. I hate playing on my phone's browser so for me Neopets has always been a 'sitting at my desk on my PC' kind of game. That's caused me to miss my dailies every once in a while lol I forget about Neopet's existance when I'm not at home

I have a few thoughts now that I’ve played around with it a few days. First, I’m happy that playing the games on there counts towards the QL. Fashion Fever & Sakhmet Solitaire run really well vs through the browser on my phone. I hope they add some more of the more touchscreen friendly games. I want all of the wheels on there (including the wheel of extravagance and starlight!) as well as some more of the basic QL dailies like fishing, the ability to read, groom, or play with items in your inventory. Neomails (including notifications!), accepting or declining TP offers. I would be ECSTATIC if they added customization to the companion app but that would probably be a massive undertaking. I agree with the suggestion above about adding little sayings from our pets! I also wish I could zoom in on them to look at them because all of my pets are gorgeous and I love them

Tried it out, but even with the benifit of an app, i see a lot of stuff still dont seem to work well. You can only feed your pet, nothing else (pointless when most of my pets are logged), you can see your invetory but again, kinda pointless when I cant do anything with them.

Maybe its my region, but kiko pop never seems to work, so that just leaves solitare and fashion fever. but lets be tral, fashion fever is more of a fast point game, its pretty limited fir a dress up in the modern sense, so its not really a "play for fun" game for the vast majority of players imo. So this app is mainly for Solitare atm.

Im not saying the effort isnt good; its good they have an app. I just think they should have made more than a liyteral entry level app that outside of small things, isnt fully helpful. In the end you cant even do all your dailys on the app, only a game, feeding if not already in the lodge, and nayve a wheel if one of those 3 are your daily wheel. In the end, you still need to go on a browser at some point in the day. And at that point, it just feels kinda pointless except "now i can load a game faster" I guess.

(and if its true that spinning doesnt apply to your dailies, this is even more pointless atm imo.)
