New Faerie Fragments Event

Following a period of maintenance, a new update has been released for Faerie Fragments along with another new Tia's Seasonal Exchange event. The theme around this one is preparing for a concert. The event runs from today through February 11th.

The event is similar in mechanics to what we've seen before. Clear levels, complete daily quests, collect Bronze Coins, and earn in-app prizes, including more "Fragments" to unlock Ascor. There is also a paid event track with additional prizes for $6.99 USD (this will increase to $9.99 after the first two weeks of the event).

You can also earn an exclusive item prize on Neopets.com. If you have NeoPass connected and earn 3,000 Bronze Coins during the event, you will earn a new exclusive instrument.

The event also includes a prize shop. This functions similar to the previous event, where prizes are not only limited to 1 per item per player, but also an overall total per item per restock.

5K coins for the top prize is steeeeeep for a game i generally dislike. i'll wait until they inevitably release it again somewhere else.

5k is a lot but for a stamp that was at 200mil a month ago..I think this is a fair way to release them out. You can pay/grind it out over the next couple weeks and it lowers price some for those that don't want to grind.

Did they retcon Nephrite as being nonbinary? The event blurb uses she/her pronouns only. Afaik they only used they/them pronouns before and nothing has been said about she/they pronouns.

After I finished all the available levels and went to the "new sector," this event became a nightmare. 25 tokens per win means I need to play 200 levels lol
No way.

@allanmennezess: The 25 Bronze Coins per level is better. Every 10 Champion levels nets you 250 coins. On the first pass through levels, you'd only get 230 coins for those same 10 levels.

@spotter001: Starting from scratch, you'll need ~212 main story levels completed. The event is 28 days long, so it's about 7-8 levels per day to keep pace.

That also doesn't account for the 100 coins from the daily quests (2800 in total over the course of the event), which will get you there much sooner.

I have an idea!!! this game would be very popular if it was less niche into a kids game... maybe swap the neopets into something more mundane... like... candy or something. that would be very famous game yes

yea spent 1 hour to get to 5k but the defenders of neopia coin is gone. It says "keep an eye out to next restock" so can I expect more to be released? tbh different items would be better considering there are 100 of the coin circulating...

The items restock when it says at the bottom of the shop page (it turns to a precise timer when there's less than 1 day left), but with really valuable things, unless you're there right as the shop restocks and you're quick about it, you might still miss it.

I hate the way they do this shop. It is literally impossible to get that coin, no matter how many points you get. It sold out in under 1 minute last time. This is ridiculous
