The praying mantis outfit looks more of a Ruki than a Buzz, but then again, both are bugs, so it kinda makes sense, I suppose. Besides, the scorpion outfit already exists, heh. It still remains the superior Buzz-only outfit, imo.

I ALMOST didn't catch The Fly reference till I saw 'Transformative' in the item name and noticed the arm that was different.

Why is a buzz a ruki?

@fozfyre that’s what tipped me off as well. At first I was like eh and then I saw the claw and I was like wait a second someone likes the old classics on the team. Good for them.



Also echoing sentiments that the mantis outfit looks like it was designed for ruki rather than buzz. You won’t be able to layer anything over it like you can with some of the other skins

I want to thank the designer for the Petpetpet Galore Frame. It's SO adorable and reminds me of children's animations.

That Buzz model should have been Gold....

Am I the only one who thinks the NC items for Buzz day are poorly drawn?

@stormmonarch I'm not a fan of the leaf, jar, or outfit. The outfit in particular looks like someone drew it without any understanding of form. The style of the petpetpet galore frame reminds me of studio ghibli though, and the background is pretty, so those get a pass from me.

idk, something feels off with the ruki... I mean buzz, fullbody outfit. Can't place what's off about it though. :/

I wish the np outfit was multiple pieces. I love the coat, but don't want that particular shirt, or the hand-thing. Cool about the reference this time though (I didn't get it, but I also am lacking on movie pop culture)

Oil Paint is pretty, in my opinion. Perhaps the eyes could have been a solid colour instead of blending in with the rest, but that's easily fixable with contacts ^^

The Fly reference is.. odd.. Like most people here I am neither old enough, nor fascinated by horror-ish stuff, so it went right over my head. As will it fly (heh) right over the heads of all the young Neopians. If not for the transformed arm (which I only noticed because I saw nightshadeswiftswing point it out) it would be.. a Buzz with a raincoat and Orion-styled hair. Why no pants?
Also: That's just two Buzz exclusive Neopoint wearables for those who are keeping track.

The NC items are.. meh. The lush park background is pretty, but the jar is too tiny for most pets. Not to mention it's kind of cruel to put a bug in such a small jar, even with the greens.. The Petpetpet frame is cute, but not drawn in a style that would fit most customisationsm I think. And yes, that's a Ruki, not a Buzz.
Also, for those keeping count: That's only two Buzz-exclusive NC items as well. What a "great" day for this pet.

@sakaarson I also got Ghibli vibes from the frame, I'm not sure I'd ever use it but I think it's pretty darn cute

on the mantis, it's odd, it's like they clearly must have meant it to be for Rukis and decided last minute "let's just use it for Buzz day instead" lol. The moach companion is pretty cute, too bad it's a species only wearable.

The NC items are all good too, but I agree with everyone else that the mantis outfit is totally wrong for the Buzz. It's a Ruki item.

Glad about the musketeer outfit - my Buzz has been waiting patiently for the conversion!

Not a fan of the oil paint color, but I'm glad others are enjoying it.

I've never ever wanted a Buzz (other than years ago for that stupid Buzzin Rainbow Pool avatar)... But I am for some reason obsessed with this oil paint one and I had to make one immediately. We will see how long the infatuation lasts lol.

Also they do have orchid mantis stuff for Rukis so I don't hate this mantis stuff for Buzz but I could see it working for either.

This is easily my favorite Buzz colour yet, I love how shimmery the eyes are!
I hadn't decided what colour to make my Buzz, but now I'm absolutely going to make him Oil Paint!

I didn't recognize the Fly reference because I'd only ever seen the original (I think it was from the 50s or something?) and never saw the version with Jeff Goldblum.
