Gong cha Bubble Tea Collaboration

Tonight, Neopets has announced another collaboration with a bubble tea chain. This time, it's Gong cha! All USA (store locator 1; store locator 2) and Canada (store locator 1; store locator 2) locations will be participating.


There will be four drinks on offer this time:

Shoyru: Cotton Candy Dream — A sweet, cloud-like delight straight from Faerieland

Aisha: Classic Pearl Milk Tea — Timeless and perfectly brewed

Kacheek: Mango Green Tea Glow — Bright, refreshing, and full of tropical cheer

Bruce: Strawberry Milk Tea — Cool, creamy, and Snow Faerie-approved

The collaboration will start with three kickoff events in Chicago, Toronto, and New York City during the first week of February. These have limited public attendance of 75 people per event; all tickets were claimed in the time it took to write this post, but you can continue to check the event page in case more open up! You will need to enter code NEOPETSGCVIP to see availability.

(You may notice a fourth event listed on Eventbrite in San Jose, but TNT has informed us this event will be for press + media only.)

The drinks and a line of accompanying merch will be available at all USA and Canada Gong cha locations from February 10 through March 9, 2026. Some merch will come with rare item codes that award exclusive items on Neopets.com.

not a huge fan of having to follow instagram accounts to get the sticker. I feel like buying the drink should be enough to get it, just increase the cost by like 25 cents or whatever if it's THAT much of a hardship for you yeesh

with the It's Boba Time, it was the sticker-with-purchase that wasn't guaranteed to have a code. I'm *guessing* it's the same here, and the keychains are guaranteed but they just left the disclaimer on lol. especially since the subtitle of the keychains image says it contains one!

unfortunately one thing you learn from covering Neopets/TNT so much is you can rarely take their statements at face value. you start to build an intuition for when/how to second-guess these sorts of things...

On Instagram it said you can still buy the drinks even if you haven't gotten a spot for the official event. Just wanted to confirm if the Jellyneo team know whether that's true? Also will the merch be available only to those who'll be attending the event or will whatever is left over be available after the fact?

Where was this announced on? I didn't see it on the news page or socials. Also, I just realized they are blind box keychains. I was about to drive an hour and a half one way to get all of them until I saw that. Now I'm not sure. And do we have to show that we follow both accounts before we ask for a sticker and card? So many questions!

Does anyone know what's the purpose of the clear acrylic card things? It looks like maybe you slot in a little polaroid photo? And do they attach to a keychain, or what is that on the top left corner??

oof, those keychains bring blind boxes make me really hair move of them are Wockys I know I'd go broke buying boxes until I got one of that was the case!
I am still planning on hitting up my local location though, the plushies are cute and if I get a couple it looks like I can get a sticker and a card. Hopefully they let me choose which one!

@elbereth: from what I've heard it's not likely that the keychain plushies will be available on the day of the launch event, I have a ticket and we were told the keychains will be available from feb 10th until the end of the collab, not on the event on the 4th. and in the launch event just ticketed people can buy neopets themed drinks, there will be a separate menu for others, your safest bet is to go get a themed drink and merch from the 10th onwards since they should be available on all locations in the US and Canada, i guess it's the safest to call your closest location ahead though

Anytime I see things like this it makes me sad, so many exclusive things for people to just buy it all up and sell for an obscene amount online Would have loved to get the kacheek and shoyru keychains.

At this point, because I collect goodie bags for my gallery I want to give up lol. ( Because theyre almost always tied to irl items that I can never obtain now and people sell them for 200+ mil!! )
