Tales of Dacardia Login Calendar, Event, and QuickFinger Stock

Today, the next event update has been launched in Tales of Dacardia. You'll need to download the latest version of the app to experience it.


Login Calendar
A daily login calendar has launched today. It includes 14 days of prizes but will be available through December 31st.


Upcoming Donation Dome
Another "Donation Dome" event will begin on Monday, December 15. This iteration's inexplicable assailants of a storm-battered island are the Icy Skeleton Horde. It will run for 24 days, through Friday, January 7.

New QuickFinger Stock
Captain QuickFinger has a new stock of wintery items at his Travelling Treasure Trove.

A few new cosmetic items have also been added to the game's Premium Parlour, including two new paint brushes and a new house customisation. Existing winter themed paint brushes have also been expanded to additional species.

One of the new paint brushes does not seem... correct in the store, at least for me. Also it's a bit weird that it seems that both new ones are only for the Shoyru?

At least the new Quickfinger stock won't destroy my currency AS much as the Halloween one did.

They removed a bunch of things from the farm, mine, and beach as well! Bad update all around.

I just noticed that some things are missing at the gathering buildings.There is no soil at the farm, no ore or clay at the mines, and none of the stuff with a rarity above green at the beach. The lighthouse seems fine but who really cares about that one?

They must be fixing to open another gathering location - one that's earthy. Soil, clay and ore. But removing chances at rare items is garbage.

I really loathe this 'game', and everything about how it is run.

Maybe they're doing that for soil and clay. But I think ore (and was gold a directly gatherable thing at the mine?) got removed because of rarity. A mine would be THE correct place to get those. Unsure if I'm looking at a bug or a braindead decision here.

This game is so boring until they unlock more areas. We had more areas in the beta so don’t know what they’re waiting on. Also very tired of the donation dome. Prizes are nice usually but it’s too repetitive like the rest of the game. No fun involved, more of a “gotta get these tasks done” and move on type deal.

@dustin even If they added more content to the game the game would still be boring anyway... every command takes Its one to three seconds of camera getting closer or away from whatever you touch, It's pretty obnoxious

If they don't ever optimize the game then It'll never get any better.

This game is so dumb. It is exactly as @dustin said above, it's "guess I gotta do this" literally NONE of it is actually enjoyable.

I think that the purple and blue resources were never supposed to be gatherable outside of the tasks they were required for. But removing the other resources too seems... dumb. I fed my pets mostly on clay omelettes & it's going to be harder to complete daily quests now. And make donation domes more awkward to make items for. Hope they bring out a fix! Or another resource area...

@cauzhxvoc above is correct--if you lost the ability to gather some items, those items weren't supposed to be gatherable at all. It's been a longtime glitch.

@arktus: The ones that were removed are intended to either be rare random drops from gathering points, or picked up in debris piles.

So completing the kougra and lupe questlines was intended to be difficult all along, huh? I’m glad I did them while the resources were still available. Baffling game design IMO

Maybe its me, but it feels pretty bad taste to roll out an update but not put a notification in game for it. I been waiting for the event to start and was wondering why the daily calendar hadn't shown up yet; Im guessing the game wasn't updated now that I see its been going on :/ Usually when there is an event, a game like this would say to update your app. Ahhh, I guess missing 2 days of stuff just isnt the WORSE worse... but still.
