Trading Post Update

Last night, TNT updated the Trading Post to the new mobile-friendly format. Alongside it, there have been a bunch of quality of life improvements to the feature!

  • The maximum Neopoints you can offer on a lot has been increased from 2 million to 10 million, or 20 million if you are a Premium member.
  • The maximum number of items you can offer on a lot has been increased from 10 to 15, or 25 if you are a Premium member.
  • The maximum number of items you can list in a single lot has been increased from 10 to 20, or 30 if you are a Premium member.
  • The maximum number of lots you can list at once has been increased from 15 to 25, or 40 if you are a Premium member.
  • The maximum wishlist length has been increased from 200 characters to 500 characters, or 750 if you are a Premium member.
  • Lots will now last 4 weeks instead of 2 weeks for Premium members.

Additionally, there is now a new 'Instant Buy' feature, that allows you to instantly buy items listed for 10 million Neopoints or under in a single click, without the need for offering or haggling.

There are some other minor UI updates including a listing of how long ago the lot was posted, and the time remaining on a lot before it expires. You will now get notifications when your lot is about to expire, when they do expire, and when people instantly buy your items.

Finally, there is a new fee for cancelling lots before they expire. This is currently 25,000 Neopoints per lot.

Love it all except the cancelling fee. Why is that a good thing?

PS, how do you get newest random lots now?
by dani_b_roccks on December 9, 2025 6:31 AM NST
Love the giant offer increase. Makes trading high priced items so much less of a hassle.
by sir_chicken on December 9, 2025 6:31 AM NST
One last thing, upon actually viewing it, I don't think it's so great and miss the old, computer-friendly version. Is there going to be a way to use that one, instead?
by dani_b_roccks on December 9, 2025 6:33 AM NST
I can't believe that there is a 10mil neopoint increase for premium. So now we will have people asking 15mil pure and non premium members get screwed!
by snudycaisu on December 9, 2025 6:44 AM NST
You cant see usernames anymore on lots... L
by stonewolf11 on December 9, 2025 6:54 AM NST
Some of my immediate thoughts:

* I don't like the Premium stuff, infact they just feel pointless. For the NP limit, # Items Offered, & # Items in a Lot the non-Premium users will just keep using the methods we've been using (it's just some additional hoops). While I'm sure there's some players who could make use of 40 lots, I think most will be fine with 25. Unless Premium players use all 30 spaces, I don't think the increased character text really accounts to much as most players use abbreviations if they have a long list. And, due to that new cancellation fee, if they don't change it than that 4 week expiration for Premium players may actually be a negative for them!

I have no idea what they could even do to make a Premium feature for the Trading Post. Maybe an exclusive section for only Premium members? A possible can of worms may be letting them more easily trade NC items between each other without Gift Boxes. And/Or even offer NeoCash on Trades (or maybe offer something like their Space Faerie Scratchcard). Ooh, that's an interesting idea, Premium players would be allowed to offer a one-day use of a Premium feature (they only get a limited amount and would need to wait next month for it to reset).
by pikachu315111 on December 9, 2025 6:59 AM NST
While at first glance I liked the changes (and the auto buy is so nice), it's just making it easier for the hoarders/botters to buy up everything. Upsides and down.
by shorte2002 on December 9, 2025 7:04 AM NST
So non premium players cannot instant buy some stuff like premium users? don't they see what's wrong with that? WHERE'S THE EMPATHY?

Example: What if a non premium user really want an expensive item to finally finish a stamp album page and the only person who has a trade with that item rejects their offer of a NF auction it because it's more comfortable for them to wait for a premium user to instant buy it than paying the 25k, neofriend the non premium user and wait for the auction to finish. Yes, there are that type of greedy users on the TP.

@kenny I'm not surprised
by spongegrundo on December 9, 2025 7:05 AM NST
Just to clarify, I'm referring to the big difference in NP limits for non premium users and premium ones (10M in difference)
by spongegrundo on December 9, 2025 7:10 AM NST
* Otherwise the general increases are all nice to have, The NP limit and # items per lot especially.

* Instant Buy is especially interesting... but more so because it makes you wonder if that's allowed why not just increase the Shop's limit to 10 mil? Don't get me wrong, it's appreciated, but I feel its just in the wrong place.

* Okay, I SORTA get the cancellation fee... but only for like the first hour. Also, if they're going to do that, they should then also make it so you can separate an item into a smaller lot without having to cancel the bigger lot. Most lots are more of a "menu" then offering the entire thing. Do they now want players to put each item not part of a set in their own lot? That sounds like a big waste of time.

A lot of these changes honestly feel like they were made by someone who doesn't use the Trading Post often (if ever).
by pikachu315111 on December 9, 2025 7:10 AM NST
I don't like the new trading post at all. I wish it would revert but I know it probably won't. It would have been nice if the format we've been used to for years would have been converted to mobile friendly. The new format feels like an entirely different game. And having to pay to cancel trades, I really hope they remove that. It's such a high price to pay when it's so difficult to just make 5k naturally from games.
by lbunnyl on December 9, 2025 7:14 AM NST
They still have to kinks to fix. But it's ok...
I do prefer the old one, but since it's not coming back ... :|
by demoness_sapphire on December 9, 2025 7:24 AM NST
Is anyone else having a strange inventory glitch in the new TP? Because even though I quickstocked all of my inventory junk into my sdb, the old contents of my inventory are all I can see in the item selection and it won't let me see any of the items I actually WANT to list! I also tried clearing my browser history, but that didn't help.
by aviagua on December 9, 2025 7:25 AM NST
I miss my "newest 20 lots" button the np offer increase is nice, idk how I feel about instant buy yet and the cancellation fee is kinda lame lol the sudden update last night was a shock for sure
by sawndi on December 9, 2025 7:26 AM NST
I don't use the trading post that much, but this new one is ...too...different. It looks like a whole new different game site.

I hope I don't need to use the TP anytime soon.
by contessa on December 9, 2025 7:32 AM NST
Seems nice at first glance, but I agree with the issues that others brought up. Especially regarding the Premium ones.
I can see non-premium users struggling going forward. I also miss the newest lots button. And if no usernames are listed, how can we message a seller?
Yeah this needs fixing and some of those premium ‘perks’ have to either be fixed too or just removed.
by solarboyaaron on December 9, 2025 7:42 AM NST
I dont really care but im laughing at 750 character limit
by fireheart on December 9, 2025 7:45 AM NST
I hate almost everything about the new TP. It's hideous, you should only have to pay a fee to cancel within the first 15-60mins, and I think every premium advantage is disgusting (and I have premium). Why can't we just increase shop limits to 10 mil and increase tp limit to 100 mil for all users ???? (And take the cap off auctions completely)

@aviagua that inventory glitch happened to me too. I went to my inventory because I was confused, also having just put all my items in SDB. Confirmed my inventory was correct as I had left it, went back to TP again, and then it fixed itself somehow and was showing normally
by crayolaa_skiess on December 9, 2025 7:48 AM NST
Finally!! We’ve needed an instant buy feature for years!!
by ravage on December 9, 2025 7:48 AM NST
What in the segregation is this, are you really going to separate the premium users from the non premium user in the economy too?
At this point its my fault for still feel surprised by the terrible decision making of TNT
by koizumito on December 9, 2025 8:08 AM NST
I agree with crayolaa_skiess - I too have premium, but some of these premium perks are just ridiculous and frankly unnecessary
by contessa on December 9, 2025 8:10 AM NST
Definitely some plus and minuses here.

Something I dont like is I had some lots up before they pushed the update yesterday and now I'm sucked in to this new system. There is no edit option to edit the wishlist on my lot I had up prior to this update that I need to adjust now... So I'm forced to pay the fee to cancel and then relist. Arg.

I too miss that 'newest 20 items' link. And there are probably other grumbles I havent figured out yet. But the instant buy is a great new feature.
Hopefully JN listens to feedback and improves this new trading post.
by cute_an_crazy on December 9, 2025 8:14 AM NST
i don't mind the update, i do dislike that you can no longer see the usernames listed with each trade though.
by ididntsayfudge on December 9, 2025 8:15 AM NST
Arg I mean TNT not JN LOL. I need more coffee this morning, brain no workie.
by cute_an_crazy on December 9, 2025 8:16 AM NST
My two main complaints about the new system are

1] The text does not expand to fill the available space. If there is only one item in a listing the text gets truncated just as it does if there are 10. This is ridiculous. It looks terrible, and results in huge unnecessary white space on the page, a lot more unnecessary scrolling, and somebody having to click to view a listing before they can actually read the text, when there was plenty of room on the main listing view for all of that text.

2] There's no ability to edit a listing, yet we are being charged through the nose to cancel. What's more, premium people have to wait twice as long before they are able to freely update their listings. Who thought of this? They might need an urgent brain transplant.

I agree with others who've said that this doesn't seem to have been thought through by somebody who actually uses the trading post in any significant way.

I think that at the very least we should be able to set an immediate buy price without having to cancel the listing, and everyone should get a free cancel to bring their listings in line with the new system.
by neolodgeism on December 9, 2025 8:22 AM NST
Oh yeah, and I'm not going to gripe about the way TNT has shafted-free users, I think everyone here already knows how much I despise their approach despite the fact that I am a premium user.
by neolodgeism on December 9, 2025 8:25 AM NST
The 25k for cancelling is awful and I hope they remove it.

I'm a premium user but I hate the premium "benefits", they are pointless and make me feel like free players must hate premium players / hate the concept. There's literally no point other than to make TNT feel like they are "offering more" to the premium players.
by ohsounicornly on December 9, 2025 8:32 AM NST
I hope they clean up the styling and make the trade boxes scale
by benladesh on December 9, 2025 8:42 AM NST
The np limit being doubled for premium users is the most egregious p2w feature TnT has implemented by far. Locking non-premium players out of a huge part of the on site marketplace is like, end of days monetization strategy, and more users should be alarmed by it.

I'm a premium user and cancelling over this.
by lorabambora on December 9, 2025 8:42 AM NST
the cancellation fee is the best NP sink yet
by elf_starlight on December 9, 2025 8:48 AM NST
Necessary changes! Well done, TNT! And of course, there are still people complaining about Premium. I believe it's a lost battle lol
by allanmennezess on December 9, 2025 9:02 AM NST
my item is a 15k item and i have to pay 25k to get it back?? This sux!
by mztina on December 9, 2025 9:08 AM NST
I don't mind the cancel fee necessarily, but I do wish they had give us a warning, I would have pulled my items out before the change over.
by onwingsofdarkness on December 9, 2025 9:09 AM NST
For me, other than the cancellation fee, the other changes are good.
by go_bruce on December 9, 2025 9:19 AM NST
Yeah, super fair that I can offer 10 million NP on a lot, when a Premium member can swoop in and offer 10 million and 1 NP. Sure, that won't happen too often, but it's not exactly.. fair. I feel that everyone should have equal opportunity to buy stuff using the Trading Post.
Not too upset about cancel fees. If you did something wrong, can't you just let your lot expire? Just takes a bit more time, but.. it's free, right? Or am I missing something?
by apophis324 on December 9, 2025 9:20 AM NST
I'll say it here too: I hate this.

- new design is confusing my brain;
- auto buy is great... If we didn't have bots that will snipe all first (and mispriced items too);
- the lot cancellation fee doesn't make any sense and won't encourage newbie trading;
- 10m for f2p and 20 for premium is disgusting. Why everything need to be p2w these days??

Not impressed with decisions made with this team as late. Worst site management ever and 0 hope left they will address the many problems we users have been trying to raise and voice for weeks.
by silvia on December 9, 2025 9:21 AM NST

by lexronomicon on December 9, 2025 9:30 AM NST
Also, I've wondered this before and I'm still wondering: Don't they test their things first? Don't they have some kind of ambassador team that can check if the updates they're going to roll out actually work as intended?
Maybe instead of giving Premium users extra goodies and unfair edges over f2p users, they could make Premium members beta testers instead.. (Or at least in addition XD)
by apophis324 on December 9, 2025 9:32 AM NST
@spongegrundo - the instant buy cap is allegedly 10 mil (I did see an instant buy for 12 mil though??) whether you are premium or not, so your point is moot
by snix_snix on December 9, 2025 9:41 AM NST
Also-

@everyone saying the usernames aren't there - I can see them under the lot number on the 'browse lots' page. Interestingly though, they are not listed on the details page for any specific lot
by snix_snix on December 9, 2025 9:46 AM NST
Main changes I would like but I think the hub has strong beta potential:

1. Need a newest 20 button since it I search something I have to leave and come back to browse

2. I would like the option to make it smaller / only have the boxes be as big as items listed rather than a lot of empty space I have scroll down for in mobile

3. 25k cancellation fee is smart for spammers but set it for a few hours not whole trade. I might need to change my description to a more reasonable price and don't want to wait a month as a premium member

4. Make names bigger as people keep mentioning not even seeing them but the are there if you need to NM

5. Instant buy is great to me given people's inactivity but maybe play around with making it more balanced or not so bot exploitable

I like the old one more as I got too see multiple trades at once with much less scrolling to see everything but the new features have real potential if it can be customized a bit
by ipie_lover_u on December 9, 2025 9:49 AM NST
I would guess that the 25,000 NP cancellation fee is due to trolls setting up free trades and then removing them when people bid on them. It's unfortunate that it had to come to this, but maybe now people will stop with the fake trades
by gamergirl33119 on December 9, 2025 9:49 AM NST
Also, did they move buttons around on the inventory pop-up? Somehow my muscle memory keeps putting stuff up for auction instead of sending it to a NeoFriend...
by apophis324 on December 9, 2025 9:50 AM NST
I tried to instant buy an item for 20 million and I wasn't allowed? though it was listed as instabuy- I am premium so idk if its a bug? or
by nclvr619 on December 9, 2025 9:51 AM NST
@apophis324 - I think with letting the lot expire the fear is that someone could or would snag it before you've had the chance to fix it. i.e. if you forgot a 0 or something in your instant buy asking price, you'd want to fix that immediately.

25k feels like chump change on the site these days though (you get 20k minimum just for the daily questlog!), so I'm personally fine with it as an NP sink. I do agree with others that maybe it will stop the users who put up free lots and then take them down once people offer (what a dumb way to spend one's time :laugh
by snix_snix on December 9, 2025 9:57 AM NST
@snix_snix problem with np sinks is that they don't work as intended as long as bots are still allowed to exist on this site. They will damage just legit f2p users (because premium users have more than enough boons). Also I don't like the rhetoric of doing something that punishes everyone instead of the ones doing the trading spamming thing.
by silvia on December 9, 2025 10:11 AM NST
@silvia fair, and agree that premium has more than enough perks at this point
by snix_snix on December 9, 2025 10:21 AM NST
This update is a disaster honestly, instant buy is the only noteworthy change and that's not even as good as raising shop limit to 10m, which is basically a one line change batter than all these effort.
by hack_l on December 9, 2025 10:24 AM NST
A lot of issues with this but also hoping to see deflation in album items as a result!
by armyfromnothing on December 9, 2025 10:33 AM NST
I'm generally glad that they raised the cap but the NP limit being higher for premium is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
by vespiaries on December 9, 2025 10:38 AM NST
It would've made more sense to just raise (or get rid of, preferably) the cap on user shops.
by gumdrops on December 9, 2025 10:53 AM NST
Instabuy is great in theory but is already being used by bots
by nightshadeswiftswing on December 9, 2025 10:55 AM NST
I like most of this... but the premium perk for bid limits is off putting.
by inverted_destiny on December 9, 2025 10:58 AM NST
I love the update. I have always hated trying to sell anything that you can't sell in a shop and this has made it so much easier to sell those items. I've sold 3 items already that were just languishing in trades and auctions before.

I don't think the 25K fee is that bad. How often are people really cancelling trades? I have only ever cancelled to put something in auctions. I am not a power player though so maybe I'm missing something lol. The only other thing I can think of is people having 10 items in a trade and cancelling to sell one item separately but IMO if you have 10 items worth over 1m in a trade you can afford a measly 25K fee.

There are some glitches that still need to be fixed. I cannot see some of my trades even if I search for the item on my side account.
by jersharocks on December 9, 2025 11:32 AM NST
To be fair, not a fan of the cancelation fee. Especially the price, because I realized the stuff I put up could now, as the prices dropped significantly, be easier to sell at a shop, but now I can´t take them down and because I just got premium, I have to wait for a month until they expire? Isn´t that a bit too long?
by kirraya on December 9, 2025 11:58 AM NST
Immediately saw an auto buy of 17mil for one of the varwolf items when people were just asking 2mil for said item yesterday??? what the actual f***
by rowenstarchild on December 9, 2025 11:58 AM NST
i like the 25k fee just because it stops people from constantly cancelling and reposting the same lots over and over to get back into newest sales, and it also helps discourage prices from changing too rapidly too quick. if there's cheaper versions "stuck" on the TP as is the inflated prices will sit for longer.

the premium differences are starting to upset me though. imo premium should always be bonus perks like super shop wizard, bonus items, and customizables. as soon as it starts cutting into the basic features of the site like buying and trading it becomes p2w in a way that bugs me a lot.
by tenshifos on December 9, 2025 12:18 PM NST
honestly wish they'd abandon all pretense of caring about nonpremium users at this point and make the entire site pay-to-play because this is deranged

the fact that many nonpremium players are STILL giving the site money through nc purchases as well doesn't matter to them either i guess!!!! please consume more. please let us keep charging you money
by kikocheek on December 9, 2025 12:25 PM NST
Yeah I get the intent behind the 25k fee was to stop people from spamming posts every 20 minutes but having it a flat fee for 2 weeks (or 4 weeks if you are premium, so much for it being a perk!) is painful especially to newer players and casual players that may not have a bil in the bank to burn on cancelling lots.

I think better alternatives are:
A longer period of time before you can cancel a trade (the prior ~20 minutes was crazy short)
A gradually decreasing fee that hits zero after a few days (like 25k for the first day, 12k for the next, 6k for the next, and so on)
by nightshadeswiftswing on December 9, 2025 12:29 PM NST
This would be a great thing if not for the paywall. As is, it has to be downgraded to a good thing.
by infernodragon02 on December 9, 2025 12:35 PM NST
Glad it's not just me having trouble with the search function – I went to bid on a Purple Aisha Morphing Potion and wanted to double-check how much the trader was asking for. I didn't see the information at the top of the page (this issue appears to be fixed now), but when I attempted to navigate back, it just brought me to a blank browser window. When I reopened the tab and searched for "Aisha," it brought up a very small handful of lots, none of which were the one I was looking for. I currently have a Luxury Cabbage Cake UFT, but when I search "Cabbage," it doesn't come up at all. Of course, it may be filtering out the user's own trades, but my experience plus @jersharocks's comment makes me think that the search function simply doesn't work particularly well.
by widelovelysea on December 9, 2025 12:39 PM NST
@snix_snix It looks like TNT added usernames after release! Those definitely were not there yesterday. Glad to see they're hearing complaints and fixing things!

by brophyvirginia on December 9, 2025 12:44 PM NST

by labtech468 on December 9, 2025 12:45 PM NST

by torivilla on December 9, 2025 12:52 PM NST
The 25k to cancel is insane and not needed! I don't need nor want a NP sink! The old look was fine and did not need to change to what it is now. Maybe it works on mobile but I don't use mobile. On my computer everything is blurry low quality and looks horrific. More Premium nonsense that shouldn't be. Only good thing is the increase. BUT that increase should be 50m or 100m not just 10m.
by grgarveylevin on December 9, 2025 12:53 PM NST
at first glance not a fan of the new layout but i do like we are able to pay up to 10mil non premium

im willing to bet they gonna put something in the nc mall that removes the 25k fee for a time ... selling a solution to a problem they inplemented on purpose
by scr3wdriver on December 9, 2025 1:10 PM NST
idk about the new layout but the higher np limit was way overdue! finally! i just dont get the higher cap for premium users, bit of a weird feature to paywall
by iloveeevee on December 9, 2025 1:12 PM NST
i like the updates to the np/character limits but i really hate that they're deciding to go with this thick font for everything... my desktop view is always at 125% on the site and still i can barely make out the usernames of trading post users without squinting. not good for accessibility. also i guess it had to be this way because of the new item limits but i don't like the fact that you have to click on "view details" to see more than 4 items in a lot... it just feels like there's so much space being taken up uselessly while the old layout was compact and concise, all the information was laid bare in a format that's easy to read. also, I know i just feel this way because i'm autistic and i struggle to adapt to changes, but the "browse lots" page is disorienting to look through.
by kurukururock on December 9, 2025 1:22 PM NST
ALSO!!! I don't think the cancelling fee is necessary at all. Mostly because people make mistakes all the time. Maybe if the price was a little lower it would make more sense. Something like 500np...

by anunsureneopian on December 9, 2025 1:29 PM NST
I'm glad you can't see usernames anymore to alleviate potential harassment, but I feel a little weird about the cap being raised for premium? Seems like something that users could abuse, but most people are pretty reasonable, so I guess it'll mostly be fine. It looks a little odd but the interface is surprisingly responsive, so I'm pretty happy with it overall.
by mercy_graves on December 9, 2025 1:52 PM NST

by katiedoll100 on December 9, 2025 2:18 PM NST
I'm a premium member and I HATE the premium "bonus" for this. It really just kneecaps non-premium members and frankly limits who can buy things. And the cancellation fee is stupid when a REALLY expensive item will require an auction house listing anyway. Yeah, 25k is a drop in the bucket when you're talking prices that high but it feels so needlessly punitive.

I'm glad the np limit is way way higher in general, but the auto-buy seems like it would be better-placed in shops rather than the TP.
by rain_harmony on December 9, 2025 2:50 PM NST

One big quality of life improvement I don't see is a transaction record for the buyer. I thought tnt said that was coming.

by jawbutch on December 9, 2025 3:18 PM NST
The new UI is so clunky. Though I appreciate the extra lot information that was added, the design is just worse now. The fixed height on lots is ridiculous on mobile.
by toru_ on December 9, 2025 3:42 PM NST
ooh some really nice QOL improvements. boo premium, etc etc.

that banner image of jhuidiah on the portal announcement looks crazyyyy, like their image editing software glitched out while they were working on it or something
by sentehisshou on December 9, 2025 3:45 PM NST
How is my trades being stuck in there for extra time without being able to adjust the price or relist a bonus?!?! That isn't a bonus for premium members, that's a really, really obnoxious problem. Unless I"m misreading that and it's thatlots end in 2 weeks for premium, and 4 for non? Frankly, I hate the division anyway, and there shouldn't be a fee beyond an hour or so. The only good things are the instant buy addition and the increase in how much you can offer.
by snowfallkahlan on December 9, 2025 3:57 PM NST
I don't like the cancelling fee, but everything else seems positive!
by _rodeo_ on December 9, 2025 3:58 PM NST
I can see the cancellation fee being a real problem. I don't like it at all! And the perks for premium users just is stupid and makes things more complicated and like everyone has said is terrible.

The new look is a bit of a shock to the system, and I don't like how if there is lots of items or a long wish list you can't see it all at once and have to do an extra click to check it out.

BUT over all I think I like most of the changes, and I'll get used to the new look after a while and may actually like it, it looks cute.

Really love the increase in amount of NPs we can offer and the instant buy thing! Oh I'm gonna love that cuz I hate waiting for people to *maybe* accept my offer.
by meer on December 9, 2025 4:17 PM NST
I'm not against the fee but 25k per cancel is a little much. Should have been 5k. 10k tops
by smaragdeidechse on December 9, 2025 4:34 PM NST
I'm not quite sure yet how I feel about the cancellation fee (I see it's perks, but I still think it's a bit much). That being said, having it apply to lots that had already been posted is criminal.
by hilary_duff2010 on December 9, 2025 4:53 PM NST
Instant buy is a bonus.

Couldn't you make It look less premium-ish? jeez, they are not ashamed of foaming for their money
by maninshi on December 9, 2025 6:30 PM NST
I love it, and it looks so pretty, too. I'm not a fan of the cancelling fee, but I very rarely cancel any lots, so it really doesn't matter much. The increased amounts definitely help, and will eliminate having to do so many trades with baby paint brushes to make up for neopoints.
by josie on December 9, 2025 7:51 PM NST
I don't love the style of the page, it is so visually overwhelming. I like the changes though. RIP to baby paint brushes?
by dimensive on December 9, 2025 8:01 PM NST
the visual appearance is giving me hives lol. it almost feels like an entry in a contest for worst possible design. why all the cut off text, "and more...", surrounded by all that blank space? tiny thick fonts, also surrounded by empty space??? the literal most vomity possible colors? who did this lmao
by ben_luvr333 on December 9, 2025 8:49 PM NST
Who was the genius at tnt who thought that having to wait 4 weeks or paying 25k was a perk? O__o Sometimes I wonder if tnt even knows their own game... (yes, yes, I know, they don't but... you know... I still sometimes think they might know it a little bit )
by godzilla1 on December 9, 2025 10:27 PM NST
Some great changes thanks tnt!

I’d love to see inventory space increased too, to support the new TP changes!
by cheeky_jess on December 10, 2025 12:54 AM NST
Oh my goodness that place is super bright! I have a laptop with gaming quality color and when I went to the trading post yesterday I was a little overwhelmed! I think I'm probably in the minority wishing neopets still looked the same as before, tho I do like that I can now offer 10M for items. I hate the Premium perks, and I have Premium. "Rewarding" Premium users in everything these days really irritates me. It makes this a two tier site and takes us all so far away from how neo started and why some of us have been here for decades.
by mistyraider on December 10, 2025 5:02 AM NST
I agree with everyone that the style of the page is not friendly to those of us with sensitivity to bright colors. I'm glad that I use dark mode on everything. I wrote a custom CSS style on desktop to make the page visually more manageable, and I use Dark Reader on Firefox mobile so it's much easier on the eyes for me now. People who are having issues, I recommend using a dark mode extension. It makes a big difference.
by neolodgeism on December 10, 2025 7:12 AM NST
In general, the accessibility on the Neopets website is terrible. For a company that is trying to be more inclusive, it's inexcusable.
by neolodgeism on December 10, 2025 7:14 AM NST
Um…. Tried to access it on my phone today and the layout is MEGA broken. I was excited for the new features but it’s not even accessible! My text is overlapping and I can’t tell what these yellow/green/link buttons are for.
by jbecks on December 10, 2025 8:16 AM NST
i am... not a fan of the 25k cancellation fee. especially combined with the 4 weeks that a lot stays up for premium users.
also, the increased limits for premium users just seem odd to me in general. i feel like it just needlessly complicates any trading and doesn't add much benefits

the instant buy feature and increased limits (in general) are much appreciated, however!
by tani on December 10, 2025 9:47 AM NST
Some necessary changes across the board but canceling lots now costing 25 THOUSAND is actually heinous when it was free before. That really needs to be rethunk and I'm *not* talking as a feature for premium members.
by knarled on December 10, 2025 10:28 AM NST
I dont understand why they still make mobile frendly! I use neopets on computer and i hate how this looks! Atleast put a way to change to old version in all site!
I cancel premium 3 years ago and I dont play like i use because those changes
by marduk on December 10, 2025 4:39 PM NST
I get wanting to reduce spam trades, but the 25K fee doesn't work when the main reason many cancel and relist items is to lower the price based on market changes. Imagine if you were charged 25K every time you changed the prices in your shop! At the very least, make it so you can edit the description and auto buy amount without relisting.

The premium auto buy being higher is really gross; no one is going to buy a 20 mil NP item from a non-premium player when they can just get it automatically from a premium one. It needs to go.

I do, however, like the auto buy feature and the increased NP amounts.
by dragonair23 on December 10, 2025 6:42 PM NST
dislike the look but love the autobuy feature. And as a premium user - these perks are getting obnoxious. I really don't like when they interfere with gameplay and make it unfair to other players. I prefer them to be more nc based and not messing with the economy itself.
by sweetadeline on December 10, 2025 10:20 PM NST
I can't seem to find any way to see more than the first page of 20 trades. There is no "next" link at the boom anymore.
by misschievious on December 10, 2025 10:57 PM NST
I agree with the dislikes that others have brought up. In addition, I would add that I'm not too confident the search feature in browsing lots is doing a good job. I searched "codestone" under "Containing my phrase" and nothing came up, and I find that hard to believe.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that the overall upgrade ~sucks~.
by therealginganinja on December 11, 2025 7:24 AM NST
Think this is the end of using the trading post, personally. Accessibility seems to be the team's main goal to kill for those of us with disabilities who are stuck on our computers. Confusing, blurry layouts... functions that don't work, extremely hard to read and from what I can tell it's mostly for bots now. If they give us an option to make the trading post computer-friendly again, I'll be back in a heartbeat. Never taking down trades and avoiding putting valuables up should avoid the month long premium penalty with the 25k fee. Bruh, too neo-poor for this, omg.

I know the neopets team doesn't read a ton or impliment changes for disabled folks very often, but PLEASE consider a feature to make the trading post usable again for us! It would mean the world, neopets gives joy on days when agony is too much. It feels like losing something meaningful that meant a lot to me.... a HUGE function on this site. And if we could get ti back at some point... it would mean a LOT.

This is a plea/begging for compassion. Sending good vibes, and a hope that we aren't overlooked in the future. Disabled folks matter too! Not all of us are able to use mobile. Please, consider everyone! A simple option to have the page be computer friendly, would mean the world to those of us who won't be able to use a site we've been on for decades.

Kindness is cool, I PROMISE.
by bennytheboi on December 11, 2025 7:28 AM NST
@bennytheboi - I hear you, it's terrible. I have a userstyle that might help a little bit with the colors/legibility.

userstyles.world/style/25548/non-eyebleed-tp

It was just thrown together to make the TP more viewable for myself personally, so it might not look amazing with all themes/browsers, but it's worth a try.

I also strongly recommend making a ticket to let TNT know directly about the accessibility issues. We can't rely on them to read the comments of a post on a 3rd party site. They need to be told directly within their own system.

by keesa on December 11, 2025 6:36 PM NST
For me, when I go to make an offer, a lot of items in my inventory aren't being shown. Anyone else having that bug?
by l1234567890 on December 15, 2025 9:45 AM NST
Same here, when I try to make a listing or make an offer, my inventory displays the first 8 - 10 items and that's it. I tried ordering oldest to newest or deleting cookies and no luck. It's really annoying. Also items that are already traded / auctioned still show up in TP with no labeling, so if I have multiples of the same thing it's also almost impossible to select the right one to use forTP
by ashurablack on December 17, 2025 6:07 AM NST
it doesnt show my current inventory
by pretty_feet on December 17, 2025 2:15 PM NST
Pretty_feet- I have to go to my inventory and then navigate back to the trade post to get my current inventory to load when trying to make a new lot

Also the coat for cancelling is 15k np now
by weygre on December 23, 2025 6:58 PM NST
Just had 2 items auto cancel after 5 days on TP (I am a premium member so it should be 4 weeks)
