I will never not be salty about that 25k fee to cancel a lot. No idea where that came from. I guess I'll just let my lots rot, instead of reposting them so their prices are more competitive with newer lots at lower prices, lol.

Who in TNT thought the 25K fee to cancel a lot when it's been free for 26+ years was a good idea?!

It sounds like we're gonna pay ransom, but I sense this is the way it's going to happen. This management is so greedy it looks desperate

Just got my desert Varwolf, and ick, they really need to tone down the sharpening on the userlookup/neoboard pictures. T_T Way too sharp.

Even weirder the news had NO mention of the atrocity that is the new trading post (hope you guys here will do a mini guide, it's kinda confusing) (also WHAT is this cancellation fee about )

sorry if I'm off topic but the new trading post is a nightmare!!! who could think that it was a good thing paying 25k to delete a post??? And who could think that it was a good thing clicking on an extra link to view the whole lot??? and you can't even go back because the page is cut on top... And you need to click refresh on your browser to see newest posts... Oh gosh... I was an avid user of trading posts but now they are dead to me

Not sure if the Trading Post is an upgrade... but I'm more peeved about the bombardment with pop-ups. One is annoying, two is atrocious. I have an ad-blocker for a reason, TNT!

Since varwolf is basically a pay to win pet, I won't bother.

Also new trading post is horrible. Layout is messy, my brain can't focus on anything in it. Paying for cancelling a lot is evil. Instead of fixing the site they are only making worse, you can see how lazy they are with their "fixes". I'll probably won't trade anything or for anything ever again.

Nice! I just wish you could get one without paying real money or paying a fortune for it :') hopefully they will release morphing potions that you can use on other species too soon

The trading post "upgrade" has been made by people who have never used this feature now it's only like a shop with higher neopoints limit. I can't see people listing their expensive items (with neomail your offer) anymore if you have to pay A LOT to delete your own post. Usernames are almost not visible, long item's name are cut if you don't click on "view details", if you click on "view details" you can't see rarity anymore, there's not a refresh button to see newest lots, if you find an interesting lot, but you need to take items from your SDB to do your offer, you have to wait (there's a lag that don't update instantly your inventory) and then search that trading post again from the beginning.... Should I have to go on? I can't believe I'll give up on trading posts after 25 years...

And wow, there's a limit of 10mil for f2p user and 20mil for premium users? Gross and disgusting. The monetization and paywalling of EVERYTHING on this site continues... I like to call it, now, a "cash grab trash can". That's what neopets dot com has become.

@silvia: Okay, yes, that last bit is indeed not good.. I know TNT wants and needs to make money and that makes sense.. but adding a premium feature to everything, making it slightly better or more unfair each time they do that.. I wonder when that will stop.

Try to search for 26th Birthday Party Map Piece... you're now limited to 20 results (no "next page" button anymore) and since map pieces have these stupid names that prevent you from being more specific, they're almost impossible to search

In my opinion, I think "neomail me your offer" instead of putting an actual price, its usually something sketchy and usually met with passive aggressiveness and unrealistic made up prices.

We'll get used to the new layout, Im not the biggest fan either, but I just hope there is a feature to actually mandate NP amounts because putting nothing or passive aggressive "serious offers only" (as the only caption) or the "NM your offer/ask for prices" is so annoying.

Its a fake price, and they hide behind it, and most of the time they repost just to flood JellyNeo's TP history (dont forget lowest on TP, whatever that means ) and confuse people there's no actual recent price, "so it really is 100 mil" when its the same user, or 2 asking for this arbitrary100 mil when the item in May was 2 mil or a buyable.

Sorry but following your logic (put an actual price), they could expand the nps shop limit. Now the trading posts are only a display for items worth millions. They were created to buy things using your most valuable items in exchange and, honestly, I don't see a "passive aggressive" mood asking for "serious offer only" (I've often got junk in my stamps/paintbrush/etc lots... Maybe they were users who felt the urge to be blocked LOL). BTW I respect every opinion, we'll get used or we won't use it anymore. Life goes on. (if only they could reduce the 25K fee... I'm scared to create my lots and being stuck with tons of objects in my inventory for weeks...)

I think if they expand the shops limit, items that arent worth a mil, will become normal to be a 1 million+.
It would make it "normal" to see. For example, regular items (for the Snow Fairy quests) are grossly inflated, and there would be more chaos, making it unstable. If I want something sold and its 1.3 NP (before) id just throw it in my shop.

Now there is an instant buy feature, that not everyone is utilizing because of greed to haggle a made up price.

Also, I have seen items in the fresh foods for 244 NP and on SSW for 274k. We need a limit, because it wouldnt sell as easily on TP, and thankfully, slow down the ridiculous price gouging on many items.
For the legitimate theres the instant buy, and as always, auctions, which is a set price and the only people complaining are because they want to ask for more NP from many players.

I do not like how the TP was just a gallery for unbuyables. But a lot of them were recently over inflated buy tens of millions, and that's my issue.

I also got low offers, and I was clear about NP only, but with the instant buy, at least "serious offers only" can purchase. Lol and i have seen plenty, who I do not interact with. TP has always been frustrating and a main part of the false inflation issue.

Im not mentioning the lots asking for things, like baby paint brushes.

Its hardly been a day to fairly . A bit too soon to judge if its still a place to put the unbuyables as a gallery.
