I think we know that the gender for the Valentine Vandagyre is a girl because of the barrettes.

The NC owl outfit feels like they just put it in a mascot suit lol.

Well, I know what I am making my vandagyre look like If I ever get additional pet slots (speaking for the valentine color and birdie featherhart )

the birdie wig is actually cute! i feel like they don't often design wigs around the pets head shapes that well, but this is a good one! it's a great colormatch for pink. it looks like it'd be good on valentine, too, which is nice.

the nc owl suit looks like the hand has too many fingers...

This is such a huge relief after the sad failure that was Pteri Day.

Love most of the cap items (although I wish the 'skin' items would stay within the bounds of ordinary pet size so that we can use them with regular clothing - ones that change the shape of the pet hang outside of the clothing and look odd).

Valentine is a cute color, although I absolutely hate the barrettes. They're such an odd choice, too. What vandagyre is going to close a clip around their ears? Ouch! They also just look pasted onto the pet rather than actually part of their look. Love the toenails though! What a cute detail!

Still, I wish whoever is doing these valentine pets would take inspiration from the valentine usul - BY FAR the best valentine pet. Subtlety, shape and variation are sorely needed in these designs. The approach used with most of the valentine pets - including this vandagyre - just slap a pattern on them and call it done. They look like plushies (in a bad way).

All that aside, I love most of the items for this pet day. I'm especially happy that a few of my favorite items have been converted! Thanks, whoever you are! I know this content is old, but that doesn't mean it's not still loved. In fact, the older it is, the longer we've had to get attached to it! <3

Okay, see now That's an owlet, I still don't consider pet day capsules because my opinion on them doesn't matter, but I don't understand why this one looks fine but the pteri is such a nightmare. I'm sure it's different artists being contracted but like... I just want consistent quality at least?

Sorry, that actually was meant to sound more positive, I won't buy this item but I'm glad the one that costs real earth dollars looks a lot better, genuinely.

Yeah, I agree - it's shocking these are released by the same company, when the quality and style is so inconsistent.

I neglected to say, I absolutely LOVE love love the Thornwoven Vandagyre items. The bow, the helmet and the outfit, all are so well done.

Yessss. Finally a good pet day for one of my pets. Love the Valentine color, and the new NP outfit, and that they fixed some old outfits. Now if they will jus tplease retrofit a few items for Vandys like they have been doign for varwolfs...

aw the np outfit is cute! i would love to see more outfits like this for pet days. i miss actual clothes getting released

The NC background and outfit made me think of one of my favorite books as a kid, The Ancient One. Very pretty and might need a vandagyre now.
