Thanks for this update. I was trying to grind my way through the tower for the day when the app went down. Didn't even register that I completed that level, so I have to do it again.

8 am NST is when we all tried to grab the Birthday Coin.
Like, I really thought it was just everyone trying for that, causing lag. After a few minutes passed with no luck, I closed my phone and haven't logged back in until now seeing JN's post. (Still troubles - but coin is sold out, aw.)

Thanks for the update. I had around 30 min left on my 3.99 boosters; do you know if those will be restored or if I’m out of luck?

Glad to know it's not just me. I just redeemed an unlimited lives thing today too and then it made me restart, so I'll probably lose that power up

Logged in before 8 NST trying to get the birthday coin, shop refreshed, couldn't get it to open and made the big mistake of restarting the app. Spend the next 40 minutes trying to get in. Somehow I managed to do so for about 20 seconds, grabbed the coin which gave me an error... but luckily still went through.

Can we just talk about how bad Faerie Fragment's reward structure is while we're here? In Tales of Dracardia you get tons of NP and now chances at high value rewards in the wheel for daily play, and when there is an event 4 usually good items for just donating, as well as your pick of lots of good ones from the points which have no player limit and can be done in like 5 minutes a day. Meanwhile in Fragments you get very little for daily play with the log-in calendar, and the events require you to either do dailies for the whole event (which can request you consume limited items) or just spend hours grinding levels to compete for the limited to about 1000 units total over the event 4000 point prize which is so expensive you probably won't be getting anything else even if you're lucky enough to grab it.

I don't know if Dracardia is just so generous it makes Fragments look terrible, or Fragments IS just terrible.

Glad it wasn't just me, thought it was my connection, I was able to get it working again, not sure if it's working for everyone now or not.

I missed out on most of this event because of the terrible app. I can’t get past a level because of connection errors.. my ticket response was it’s a known error and they are working on a fix. How long has this error been going on though?

Oh, and here I thought It was just because my Internet connection was weak from being afar from the router

I was able to login like 3 minutes before the refresh time of the event prizes. Right in the refresh time, stopped working again.

Once again I redeemed an infinite lives reward and it goes down again. I hate it here.

Not working as of 6 PM NST.

I went back to it to do a bit more, aaaand it's erroring again. K it's not just me.

Mine is still not working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still can't get get past the "Connection Error"

@hexen I totally agree with you. In ToD you do very little to get some quite good prizes, even donation dome takes very little work. Last week I got a BGC from spinning the wheel and in FF you have to totally grind and there's very little reward for the amount of time you put in. I just got 4000 coin to try for the coin and no luck. It really seems to me that the model of FF is to push players toward spending real money to succeed in the game by purchasing powerups and coins. Tower mode is especially designed for using powerups and with needing to complete it a whopping 80 times to get the stamp you know they want you buying powerups to help get you through the levels. Also weird to me they close the prize shop on the last day of the event for ToD but for FF they leave it open days later. I have totally forgotten to spend my prize points a couple of times before it ended. C'est la vie...

Not working for me either

Earlier with the first crash, I got in around 2am JST, an hour after the restock. I remember seeing a false restock counter set for 8 hours from that time, which is about the time the next restart crash hit. So I wouldn't doubt a corolation.

Neopets has known since the first event that people are not fans of the limited to global rewards vs the limited to player rewards. And they said "we hear you- so we are going to put a few more and some restocks in" which litterally helpped no one. Its a very disgusting idea to have players participate in an event, especially an anniversary celebration of your app, then have 2 items worth anything (the coin and the book), then stuff the rest of the items with a lot of undesirable or low demand items. You rather punish a player for grinding out 4k event coins (which isnt even that easy, especially for players who rely on the tower and champion levels to earn points.), but your pretty much giving them participation tier rewards for not having the points on the first day (which ironically iirc the coin sold out pretty fast this time around compaired to older events.)

It really needs to change, because at this rate I don't see the insentive to participate in events if your pretty much not able to get a reward that feels worth the hours spent playing.

So there's no restock time now.

The app is still broken. For three days now I have been playing for an hour at least but when I try to do endless mode it shows the same message after completing the first goal.

And when restarting I’ll have to play and that yields the same result.

I have tried to play ToD and FF and for a good while now nothing works like it should! Today I collect debris and it doesn't register the items I clean up. I need to make an omelet to feed a pet for the daily thingy. AND... I am stuck at level 3 with 6-8 dacardite stones. So, there is no way to use the Crabulator. Playing these two games for nothing... Ugg. The quest log won't even show complete because nothing works on Dacardia. Is anyone else finding problems like this? I promise I am a positive person, lol, this site just hasn't got their act together lately.

I'm having trouble loading Faerie Fragments today (11/14). Will try again later.
