Make A Wish Avatar

Another new avatar has been discovered, this one titled "Make A Wish":

A user who unlocked it has reported to Jellyneo that it's available from viewing the pet lookup of a Neopet painted Starry with a Petpet also painted Starry between 12:00:00 and 12:01:00 AM NST. ~~However, we have not yet been able to confirm this independently.~~ This has been confirmed!

~~If you have a Starry Neopet with a Starry Petpet that you'd like to offer for users to test on, please let us know or comment below!~~ Thank you to fennika for offering their pet Solensya for users to try with!

@solarboyaaron: The issue is due to the site lag, and not pet specific. Even if the pet doesn't load, you can still get the avatar if the page actually loads.

I didn't set an alarm so I woke up too late but my mom tried and didn't get it, due to lag.
Page loaded and loaded for EXACTLY one minute.
Finally loaded at exactly 00:01 and of course, that was too late. Nothing.

I feel like they could've made it a BIT less strict, like maybe a 5 minute window.
Ideally between 11pm and like 3am or something for peeps in less than ideal time zones, but..

& Absolutely agree with @blu I'd LOVE to see the updated version instead.
Immediately my first thought as soon as I saw the spoiler, was that the loop was way too fast. But it's still really pretty ♥

I got the avatar, but seriously, what Is wrong with this 1-minute gap only.

The avatar consists on making a wish on a shooting star, but It's not like that happens at 12am only

the thing about 12am Is that It Is expected for the night sky to be clear due to pollution fading away (though not really as much this late 2025 as It used to be, unless specific countries. Maybe back In 2000, just maybe.... plus, no Idea If In Neopia there Is any, unless It's Moltara

), so the conditions for this avatar are just....... ludicrous

maninshi, I agree. I can appreciate the theme of the avatar. However, midnight is happening at varying times all over the world, and nighttime hours vary per timezone.
Even on site, by having the avatar at just a minute timeslot, it locks out a significant amount of players. People who may be sleeping at that time, people who may be working or at school, etc, etc. In my opinion, I think the timeslot ought to be expanded to account for people who may not be able to make it at that one, very specific time. It reminds me of the moltara magma pet colour change pool, and the way it's limited to a very specific time per person. For me, mine is at something like 3am; that's when I ought to be in bed.
I would like for the Neopets team to be more considerate and expand aspects like this avatar (and similar time-gated features) to account for a wider array of people. Such as having the avatar (and similar) available at multiple times a day, or for longer periods of time.

Third day in a row refreshing the lookup at the minute, it never refreshes straight away, it says the stuff about meepits and to try again, then it does go to the lookup, but no avatar. There has to be more to it?

I've tried twice now without receiving the avatar. The page loads but if I refresh, get the message "Aaaand the meepits failed. We sacked those, so try again and we'll get some new ones to do it right this time!" Clicking "so try again" loads the page again but I wonder if this is the issue.

I also had the issue about the meepits. I refreshed again and got it. So I think as long as you refresh and get it to load between 12:00 and 12:01am you’ll get it.
