OK I’m glad someone else thinks it was supposed to be blahaj. It’s not quite right but I couldn’t think of any other reason why they would make a shark fuzzy

Also oh sure, they can make a Jetsam into an orca, but not Flotsam? smh
And shouldn't the petpet bed be in petpet supplies? xD

Its true, its true! And the other thing is, my sister had a baby and I took it over after she passed away and the baby lost all its legs and arms and now its just a stump but I take care of it with my wife and... and its growing and its fairly happy... and its difficult because I'm working a second shift at the factory to put food on the table but all the love that I see in that little guy's face it makes it worth it in the end. True story.

A Shark Tale reference in the year of our lord 2025 was not what I expected on my bingo sheet.

LOL Shark Tale?! Where's the Will Smith fish? It looks pretty good, though. No idea what a Blåhaj is, but it's cute. 8-Bit is okay, but I wish the pose was a little different or it was holding a sword or something like that.

I want that Jetsam bed and I wish the pillow was wearable!

Okay, let's see.. As a bit of a pixel-""artist"" myself, I can appreciate the bitty Jetsam. Nice shading on the shirt. Too bad one of the feet looks to be merged with the tail.. Why not have a black outline there as well? The tail itself has a nice shape to it. A good, pixelated rendition of the regular Jetsam. I do wonder why they need to come with costumes specific for the species, and not just a shirt and pants as the early 8-Bit pets had, but that is just me probably.

I'm not familiar with Blåhaj or why it is fuzzy. I assume it's a toy? Looks odd for a shark, but I suppose as a reference it's good? TNT has shown their love for unnecessarily fluffy pet designs, so.. why not?

That decorative pillow is so.. not... good though... I get it's a reference to the Jaws movie poster, but.. Why is it a decorative pillow? Why is it sold at the Toy Store and not the Gift Shop or Furniture Shop? Why does it barely look like a Jetsam? Just... Why? But hey, at least it's not an unobtainable stamp, so that's.. something at least? ^^;

I'm afraid the Shark Tale reference is lost on me. Didn't watch the movie when it came out, never watched it since. I'm also not sure if it's creative or not to reference pop culture in your outfits this often.. But again, that is just me, probably

It isn’t actually. Blahaj is the big ikea shark plush that’s really popular but they didn’t quite get the colors or texture right. The eyes are completely wrong too. I understand they have to be distinct enough to not hit copyright issues but they’ve been more blatant with references in the past that I think at the least they could have done more accurate eyes

Oh well, it looks more well done than the NC outfit for once so I give them that. As much as I love orcas it’s a pretty low effort skin

surprised that shark face out of the sea is not copyrighted since that Attack of the Jetsam Accent Pillow looks dangerously close to the original jaws movie cover. this was my first thought when i saw that pillow but heck ... im not not a laywer and truth be told not my problem either lol

I hate all the newer 8-bit pets... they're not 8-bit, more like 16-bit in terms of detail and pixel count. But it's the unoriginal poses that get me the most... like wow, why does it have to be in a converted pose? Use some imagination.

Soooo TNT turned the dolphin neopet (Flotsam) into a hermit crab, but turned the shark neopet (Jetsam) into an orca. Make it make sense.

Oh, I was so confused what the furry Jetsam was in reference to, if anything. Blåhaj is furry? I thought it's plush, like very short hair. But tbh I don't think I've ever seen one up close lol

The Jetsam skin I think is more referencing to one of the bad guys in Shark Tale; He's got a color scheme like that and is a shark.


Though I suppose there are some orcas in the movie as well, hilariously under the shark's control; But for context, they're like the mafia and this big shark is the Godfather - and a biological father as well to 2 other sharks. Won't tell much after that, but I personally like the movie, but I'm also just into silly stuff. xD


Kinda surprised they didn't do the boat background like near the climax of the film though. That would've been good as well, though this underwater background works too.
