This morning, the social media accounts of MMORPG Habbo have announced an upcoming collaboration with Neopets. It will launch on November 3, 2025.


Other than the launch date, no details are provided.

this looks fun! i generally enjoy the mobile games but wish there was more content than the "events." does anyone know if this is a mobile game or the vaguely mentioned switch game? either way, yay!

I don't play Habbo (although I did a little as a kid) but I think this is a very fun idea for a collab and the art style looks super fun. I hope we get some merch in this art style

Not sure how you can do a 'collab' between 2 unique virtual pet/character games and I'm not interested in joining another new site (if that's required).

Is this going to turn out to be just another blink and you miss it mobile app?

@go_bruce Habbo was as popular as Neopets in the 2000s

I'm not particular interested in this collab but this seems very positive since both games are considered peak internet nostalgia and could bring habbo players here

I have honestly never heard of this Habbo.. But it’s cool they’ll be doing a collab, so I’m curious. Idk with all the things I’m doing, if I’ll participate, but it will at least be interesting to keep an eye out.

Oh my gosh I can't believe my two worlds are colliding. I used to play habbo so often, especially before the merge. I still log in every so often. I'm excited to see what they'll be doing!

I've never heard of Habbo. I'll speculate that this collab is to appease all the Neopians that have been asking for Neohomes to return. I wonder if all the furniture and garden stuff that I have stashed across 5 accounts will be usable.

@1jediboy Marapets is super problematic, fatfobic, racist, etc. they didn't pay artists in the past and the owner doesn't care at all. Izzzyzzz has a video on it but there's more that wasn't cover.

Neopets has its own problems, but is miles better than the cheap mara copycat lol

Also the Marapets owner made fun of Neopets players so... that's a collab thankfully will never happen

I don't know Habbo very much but seems a healthier relationship. Another fun collab would be tamagotchi or pokemon!

Those who are under 30 most likely have never heard of Habbo (or Habbo Hotel as it was originally called).
If my memory doesn't fail me, the collaborative site reached its heyday in 2004-2005.
Habbo also was what prompted me into trying isometric pixel art (after a decade-long experience in non iso pixel art) ^^;; it was so hard I still dread it after 20 years!!
Anyway, I too am surprised this project is still around

It’s fun seeing a collab and I second wanting a tamagotchi or pokemon one! Another mc collab too with adult happy meal toys would be the dream T.T

I’ll prob play it if it offers site rewards. I wasn’t as into Habbo but I knew of it. I wasn’t more into whatever let me have cute pet animals like moshi monsters or webkinz and of course Neopets XD

Maaan seeing Habbo again is such a weird throwback.
I used to play it religiously as a kid, lol.
I wonder if we'll see anything on the Neopets side of things or if it's just gonna be Neo-related furni in Habbo.

I don't recall if I've ever heard of Habbo either and am just now seeing the news about the collab.

Pretty sure Habbo kinda has some...Um...Questionable content more often than not nowadays too, so idk man. Sounds kinda strange to me vs Neo x Pokemon or Tamagochi.


Or - and hear me out - Neo x Cookie Run. CR did a Sonic collab once, and also BTS, so why not Neopets? Fyora Cookie, maybe some species Cake creatures? There's a lot of potential here with designs as well!
