Yet another avatar has been discovered, adding on to the five discovered yesterday.

This avatar is obtained when your Neopet is zapped to the colour Snot by the Lab Ray.

I just tried using the rainbow fountain and painting snot that way, no avatar.

I use my sides to zap pets, I will be heartbroken if I only get the avatar on a side! Although I've never zapped snot in ALL these years.

I used a FFQ to change a chia to snot, no avatar. Then changed an aisha to snot via FFQ, no avatar.
Definitely a lab exclusive one

Loving the new avatars, but I do wish it wasn't a basic 'Square' shape. Curve the edges, or at least put a little border on them? They could've easily made this have a droopy, or deformed shape.

i'm honestly loving all of these new harder to get than just clicking avatars. i love my clickables don't get me wrong but i like having an excuse to use the lab ray again!

Also wish they'd put a border on these AIM avs, but I'm still happy they're releasing so many new ones for people to figure out and try for.

I'm so tired of RNG avatars. This is just ridiculous. I've had the lab ray for decades and gotten another once. I've played with sand toys 100+ times no avatar. I've been to grave danger 4 times now no avatar. I had to play with a baby pet more than 1k times to get that avatar. I've refreshed game graveyard thousands of times a year for what feels like eternity and no avatar. RNG is so stupid as a method for things.

All these new RNG avatars are going to make it even harder to get he Avatar Collector av now that it's a percentage, whenever they fix that one. My lab ray pet is already Snot. What are the odd it'll happen again?

Might be good to mention to double check your lab pet *can* be zapped snot, as well!
I haven't had a colour change on mine in foreeeever so crossing my fingers snot shows up soon. Seasons are changing and peoples allergies are going to be in full swing

I hadn't even checked to see what pets can't be painted snot... the list is LONG! It includes the species my active is currently, and the ones I'm zapping on sides. So at least I don't have to worry about getting it on a side first. But who knows when my lab pet will be one of the Snot-able species.

I believe the best odds are with a Lutari, but since those are difficult to get, the next best is Korbat. Correct me if that's wrong

Has TNT ever implemented a "pity mechanism" where you are guaranteed to get the avie after so many tries? I'm all for the grind on some of them, but others like this feel unreasonably RNG.

I know they‘re doing this to drive up engagement on the site, but at least make the avatars look pretty… this to me just feels half-assed, all these random and low effort avatars they‘re throwing at us. The pretty look pf an avatar was often the reason I enjoyed collecting them.

The majority of the ones being released right now are existing AIM avatars made long, long ago. I suspect they're not touching up the images because no one actually has the original image file anymore to alter the frames.
Personally I think it's great they're reusing these old images in a way people will actually see them again.
And we're still getting new artwork for avatars as well, they just don't have to crunch the artist(s) as much by throwing in a mix of old and new instead of all new

I decided to morph my lab pet into a species that can be painted Snot, rather than leave it to chance. There are plenty of cheap potions I can use if he changes into a species that can't.
