Today, TNT posted new release notes indicating that the Avatar Collector avatar has updated requirements! At the time the notes went out, things weren't working as planned, but the ambassadors have confirmed to Jellyneo that it is indeed working now.
The new requirement is simple, but has many caveats: it will be awarded by obtaining 75% of countable avatars.
The caveats:
- It will be awarded once daily via a script, not whenever you gain or lose an avatar, as the release notes described.
- Default avatars count in the calculation, but all users automatically receive these. (They just aren't included on your lookup's count, so add +60 in your math.)
- Lockout avatars, like the Royal Korbats or the "Altador 2018" avatars, all count as needed, even though you cannot receive all of them. (For example, all 19 team "Altador 2018" avatars count, but you can only have 1 of 19 at a time.)
- Avatars that do not increase the secret avatar count on your lookup do not count at all in the calculation. (See below.)
These are the current six avatars that will not count towards your 75%:
All that said, as of right now, there are 578 known avatars, 6 of which do not count, and 3 of which are TNT-exclusive. That should leave 569 avatars, and 75% of that would be 426 or 427 avatars (depending on how TNT's script is rounding). 60 of those are default avatars, so our current prediction is that anyone with 366 or 367 secret avatars listed on their lookup will receive the avatar.
If you receive the Avatar Collector avatar tonight, let us know in the comments (or write in) with what your secret avatar count on your userlookup is! We'll be keeping track to confirm what the current threshold is so we can verify the details above and provide a real count on our guide in the future.
