I'm a lil confused by folks saying it's an hp reference personally but ngl I've basically entirely disengaged from hp a LONG time ago (bc the author hates people like me) so to me this reads very appropriate for the Neovia aesthetic. if it is indeed an hp ref though that's in pretty poor taste esp considering the recent TNT LGBTQIA+ debacle... 😬

I love these! I also did not detect a HP influence at all until I looked at the comments here... it reads as more Lovecraftian to me (in a delightful way). A dragon lurking on top of a building is very much not exclusive to HP.

I was wondering why there was a big.. creature on the clock tower. That never happened in Neopia lore, to my recollection, so.. if this IS a Potter reference then that might not be a great idea on their part. But if it's not, then I suppose it's pretty cool, if a bit confusing.

I don't know why people say this is HP based. It's Neovia. It has nothing to do with HP. I think people are just trying to stir up drama.

The bg makes me think of Bat out of H*ll 2 album cover (demon on a tower) and Godzilla 90s cartoon title scene (Godzilla on Empire State tower) more than HP.

It made me think more of GoT!
