Final Day for Enchanted Egg Hunt and Hatchery

Today is the final day to earn Bronze Coins and unlock threshold prizes (including the event-exclusive Jorett Plushie) from the Enchanted Egg Hunt event in Faerie Fragments. The prize shop will remain open for an additional week through May 19th, but you will not be able to earn any additional Bronze Coins or threshold prizes during this time.

This is also the last day to collect faerie dust, incubate eggs, and hatch eggs for the Hatchery event bonus activity. This includes the chance to earn prizes on Neopets.com through the "Hatchery Challenge."

I have to say I've really enjoyed this event. It's been very well organized and clearly communicated. The challenges have been interesting, the prizes have been great and the expectations have been set clearly and so far have been fully met. This is how an event should be run.

Of course there has still been the occasional bugginess, but nothing sufficient to dampen my enjoyment.

I forgot to ask, does anyone know if the tower side game will remain after the event? I've really wanted to spend more time with it, but it's hard to justify when it doesn't reward bronze coins.

I agree with @neolodgeism - I played a lot of this event, as did my wife, and we enjoyed it a lot. They sent a survey out and I replied that I really enjoyed the event, but that Gold coins are just a bit too easy to get (I have 44k right now LOL). But yeah, was a lot of fun and the game got a lot more stable for me and my wife during this event.

@neolodgeism Tower Mode appears to fully fledged new feature--not related to the event, despite launching at the same time.

@kenny - Thanks, I'm glad to hear it. This is going to make the game much more fun for me moving forward. I'm already on my third playthrough of all of the levels.

@flightofjay - shhhh! I don't know what you're talking about the gold coins have been dropping out an appropriate rate.

Actually it is true the egg hatching has given a lot more gold coins, but I've also become a lot more casual about spending them as a result so I don't feel like I have an outrageous amount from all of this. I do think they make for a good reward that motivates me to keep participating in the egg hatch. If they were to decrease the drop rate I would probably not participate in the egg hatching as much as I have been.

I just now realized that I can speed up the egg hatching, and that it averages out to still earning a profit in coins. I thought I was going to miss out on one of the prizes since my exotic eggs hadn't given me both of them and there isn'ttime to hatch another, but then I finally noticed the tiny green lightning bolt button..

I hope they have a similar event feature in the future. It's really nice to have things work and feel rewarding! Finally an update that didn't justifiably have a lot of complaints.

I wish I could have finished hatching the eggs I had! I feel like there wasn't enough leeway with that and missed out on my last hatching.

I can't get anywhere with it. It crashes every time I finish a level, and it doesn't save it. I think I completed maybe 3 levels during the whole event. I just went ahead and bought the plush with NP and gave up.
