I actually bought everything I wanted a day or two ago and have been buying odds and ends right after donating just to be sure. I've been burned so many times!

Thanks for the reminder! I missed a few days in the middle though so I ended up not being able to buy as much as I’d like. I’m also getting fed up with them making you pay to unlock expired days’ gifts, unlike every other game with a special event login bonus.

Overall it feels like this update they’re focusing more on stuff that can be awarded on Neopets and less on stuff in the Dacardia game.

Well, it's the only way they're going to drive interest, since they're sticking to their plan of finding the five people on Earth willing to pay those prices for an app that either has broken or half implemented features instead of just pricing things within the range of people playing mobile games casually.

Which is kind of like creating something that barely qualifies as a boat in order to go whaling with.

Yeah I will never play ToD for ToD, it's only to get items and NP on site... and I will never pay money for ToD...

Oh, so it ended an hour earlier than it did every other day. Cool. Lol I'm really starting to hate these games with a flaming passion.

@summertwinkle - Yeah, that's why I used my tickets early this time. They've consistently screwed over the fans this way for every single event that's ever happened in the game. Even still, I had a few left I was going to spend and wasn't able to either.

Wow so annoyed. They closed the shop before EOD yesterday and I wasn't able to use all of my tickets. Classic.

I was still able to make a donation today and claim items with my tickets…

ngl was hopping for one of those random accidents like the one during the Altador Cup where they awarded the participants extra points.

Guess that was not the case. Not much wasted whatsoever with just 400 tickets, If nothing ¯v(ツ)v¯

After the first prize shop I learnt the lesson to complete shopping at the start of the day before the unannounced pre closure. But what has got me confused is what on earth happened to Hissi day... I feel like ouroboros, both in NP's weird app event "quirks" and in the emotional rollercoaster of rising anticipation of the online events that are crushed or delayed before they are released (or in the boba event just denied to anyone outside of Cali & US, with no shipping available). In the Dacardia event case it is way too easy to miss the half day at the start (given it is not the full day) and you could not get many of the prizes this time as there were not enough points available. I get it that points were easier to get with just a couple of neggs needed (so a steady daily rotation of gathering would do it) but after they messed up the daily tasks with tasks that are impossible to complete without the ingredients needed (paintbrushes, rollers, fish etc) I was hoping they would not screw up the event prize shops as well to be impossible to complete.
