Specifically, this update enhances the Hatchery event bonus activity with Neopets.com rewards for participating. There are three tiers of rewards.
Beginner Challenge
Hatch at least one egg at the Hatchery to receive the below foreground.
Lucky Challenge
Hatch at least one egg of each kind at the Hatchery to receive a chance of getting the below paint brush. There will only be 20 winners for this one!
World Challenge
If all players collectively hatch 500,000 eggs of any type before the end of the event, everyone will receive a Snowbunny (as well as 10x Rainbow Negg power-ups in-app).
According to the email, 202,988 eggs have already been hatched!
The announcement states that qualification for all three challenges will count between April 15 and May 13, 2025, at 2am NST. This means that any progress you have made prior to this announcement does seem to count!
Rewards will not be immediately granted. Rather, all rewards will be "sent to the in-game notice mails within 3 - 4 weeks after the event concludes." You will need to have NeoPass connected to both your Faerie Fragments and Neopets.com accounts at that time to claim them.
