Faerie Fragments Rewards Broken

Earlier this week, we celebrated the unbreaking of the event reward in Faerie Fragments. Unfortunately, several other aspects of the game have since fallen apart.

We've compiled a list of known issues to reassure that, no, it's not just you! If you are experiencing any of these, we highly encourage you to submit a ticket to Faerie Fragments support to ensure TNT knows the scale of the issues.

Daily Login Reward Non-Functional
Starting at some point yesterday (March 18), most players are not able to claim their reward from the Daily Stamp Card are not able to do so. Attempting to open the interface will display an error "Claim reward failed. Please try again later." Neither the in-app nor Neopets.com prizes are awarded.

Story Progress Non-Functional
Starting at some point yesterday (March 18), some players who have not yet completed the story are no longer able to progress it. Attempting to redeem a Wocky Jelly for a story task results in all buttons disappearing from the overworld screen, but no dialogue actually loading, and the story will not progress.

Timed Rewards Not Being Awarded
Timed rewards (such as unlimited lives or power-ups for 30 minutes) are meant to be sent to your notifications bell in the top right corner to be redeemed at a time of your choosing. However, starting at some point over the weekend, receiving such awards seems to be broken; the rewards either do not appear there, or appear there as already redeemed.

Unfortunately this seems to affect both earned rewards (such as from a side activity) and rewards purchased from the Store. As such, we don't recommend purchasing anything other than Coins from the Store until this is resolved.

Other Issues
Side Activities such as Airship Expedition and Match Dash do not seem to be consistently giving rewards on completion; most players are not able to restart the Hungry Meepits activity. App crashes appear to be more frequent on both iOS and Android since the version 1.2.3 update last Thursday. And there may be even more issues; as mentioned up top, we highly recommend submitting a ticket for any bumps you run into:

How broken can a game get before they stop pushing fun updates and start fixing glitches so many users are facing….

Have been able to claim rewards for juice and the air ballooon event for over a month now.

The story has never progressed for me. I can't get past day 1, and I already linked my neopass so I'm screwed. I've submitted 3-4 tickets about this, they tell me they're forwarding it to the correct department, and then I never hear back. I don't understand why it's so difficult to reset my neopass data so I can play the game.

as someone who wrote a whole guide on faerie fragments, I like the game but lol at how hysterically broken it is. thanks for reporting on it

I love Faerie Fragments, I find it fun and relaxing, but these bugs have been very frustrating. The meepits have certainly been gnawing on the wires!!

I haven't been able to claim my meepit juice awards for weeks now, and the airship one is broken too. In fact, all of the side quests have just stopped showing up entirely, except the juice thing, which taunts me daily with the green 1 I can't claim!

I do give them full credit for vastly improving the event structure, though. Giving more points, giving better rewards at lower tiers, etc. - all of this has made the event better. Too bad the timed awards aren't being properly credited.

Daily Login and meepits is broken for me. IDK about story, I finished all that in a week when the game came out. Not sure if there is more beyond the dream world. I sent in a ticket for meepits a while ago and, was just told its a known issue and they will pass it to the dev team.

I know Don said they need these games to show what more Neopets can be, but what is he really proving with a broken and low rated game? Sites broken, Mobile games broken... Still playing it to support, but if I can get the site sensitives It's hard to want to keep playing as I'm busy

I also have not been getting my bonus rewards from store purchases in the mail box. I had some unused Google Play credits that I used on FF and got the gold but not the mail with the bonuses/ items. Just wanted to add that to the list.

Sorry folks, I signed up for Neopass and started playing on 18 March to go for the stamp and avatar, so I'm clearly the one who jinxed this.

I was having a lot of fun with it and claimed the first two on-site rewards and the daily stamp successfully, but I'll hold off until this is fixed. I didn't get any of the Meepit Juice Break rewards from yesterday either.

I saw neolodgeism's post after I posted. I do agree they did improve the event. The second one I hardly got anywhere due to getting stuck on levels and meepits not working. First one was fine because all the other things were working at the time. Current event I can still make progress even though Im stuck on the final levels.

I hope they can fix the issues soon. It is a nice game to poke into

I've been playing since launch and genuinely enjoy it most of the time. I've had relatively few issues, except my Hungry Meepits has been broken for a while, but it's so disheartening that now almost all aspects of the game are broken. They need to fix this, especially for the paying players. Not a good look that even one of things they're actively promoting is falling apart. I am still able to play the actual levels just fine, at least.

wow....glad i was able to grind for that tia plushie and clear all the story tasks last week. i don't mind this game, and still have 150 levels to go until i can get the avatar/stamp. it's unfortunate bc i have been excited for new prizes since i saw a few pop up on the ~spoilerss petpage so i can add them to my gallery /customize my pets. mobile games aren't supposed to be this frustrating or difficult to play

Am I the only one who's had an entire character just never unlock? I completely chapter 2 and unlocked Tia AGES ago and she's been unavailable to this day!!! Jorett was unlocked later and he's completely fine, but for some reason Tia just hasn't ever joined the team! I don't exactly have any desire to use her ability since I think Varia outranks everyone elses, but it's still confusing and slightly frustrating because I know there's a daily task of using her in a level.

Same, I downloaded the game on launch day, the stories never unlocked for me, my shoyru looks really creepy because it has no clothes, and I already connected it to my Neopass at the beginning, and they can't seem to reset my game for me or anything. I've tried to contact support around 5 times now, and they've been telling me that they're looking into it for the past 5 months. Funnily enough, meepit juicebreak is working for me and I've been placed in groups with people who it seems not to work with, so I've won every time. The airship event has never worked for me, and the daily log-in reward stopped working for me for a few days, but now works again. I've also tried buying coins once when I failed a level, however, all it did was take my money and glitch my game so that the board didn't re-appear. When I tried contacting support to try and get the coins I bought since the game glitched, support didn't add any coins to my account and gave me the generic they're looking into response. Luckily, it was like $1-2 and I was using google play credits I already had, but I learned my lesson not to buy anything else from the app since they're keen on just taking my money and not adding anything to the account.

I'm not able to play either mobile game. They both crash out after less than 5 minutes making them unplayable. Updates have not fixed the problem either.

Hungry Meepits has been broken for 6 weeks for me now - I submitted a ticket on Feb 10th, about a week after it stopped working, and they were aware of the issue at that point. I'd stopped playing for a while before the issue and only played again with the current bonus quests but honestly? I'm prob gonna uninstall. It's been getting more and more broken since the quests and it isn't worth it anymore for the codestones/scratch cards.

Everything is working except for Airship Expedition redemption for me. Took a restart and a connection error to get the daily working again though.

@stacidanyluk Sorry for the late reply! Didn't see this but I didn't actually do anything special, just played the chapters and then unlocked him naturally... Tia was supposed to be the same but it didn't work for her.

...there's a playable story mode?! I've been playing for months and the only content I have access to is playing levels, all the story stuff has had locks on it. I can't get to "Day 2". What do I do to move forward?
