they're so cute! but does anyone know if the regular nostalgic baby and faerie styles will come back anytime soon? I missed it the first time they got released and now I'm starting to worry it might take a long time before we see them again :')

The details in the royals are great!! They all look very good. Undecided on the plushie baby pets, like with some of the valentines ones I’m not keen on turning existing items into pet styles. That’s just me though.

Off topic: Did anyone receive a survey asking about the increase in premium cost due to the new perks?

I am still confused about how this works, please don't flame me for asking So, if I understand it correctly, you have a Neopet and you want it to look different, and you can do that at the styling studio? For instance, say I have a Lupe - I could change it into a Plushie Baby Lupe, and it would remain that way after that?

i bought both the royal boy and royal girl and my pet that i use these on is a girl but i think the royal boy is cuter so i displayed that one XD

@ myriamele - Pet styles essentially work as a full body wearable that replaces the Neopet on screen, except that you need to use the Styling Chamber to change pet styles instead of customization. They can be used on any color of Neopet of a given species and while they aren’t a permanent color change such as painting your Neopet but you will keep the style. For example if you use your Lupe you can change it to look like a Plushie Baby style Lupe, but it will still officially be whatever color the Lupe is currently painted. For example if I were to buy one of the Regal Royal styles for my Maraquan Koi it would remain a Maraquan Koi and I could switch it back to looking like a Maraquan Koi at any point but look like a Regal Royal Koi. Likewise I bought one of the Nostalgic Faerie styles for my Disco Xweetok, it isn’t currently using that style but if I wanted to go back to using it all I’d have to do is go back into the Styling Chamber and change it back into a Nostalgic Faerie Xweetok (that’s still officially Disco colored).

Actually, I think Vandas have 2, if you count blue; The other is Tyrannian (Prehistoric?).


But the fact that they re-released royals is amazing; I finally got my RG Scorchio token, so I no longer have to trade for it!
I'm pondering on getting the Koi, tbh. I actually like the RG style more than the RB. :o I do kinda wish they did the Jetsams though, or even Regals for OGUCs just for fun.

The Blumaroo looks amazing, though! I don't have a Blum but aside from that and the Koi, I really like the RB Ogrin and Lenny. Very tempted to get the latter for the smugness alone.

Don't care about the baby plushies but Royals are FANTASTIC.

Honestly wish I could afford a baby kougra plushie style... these are adorable! But I'm happy enough seeing it just exist.

I like the Regal Blumaroo boy, but c'mon where is the girl? I have the OG RG Blumaroo not the RB. Sad.

How about a little Moehog love? Nothing new for Moehogs, I believe they are the most neglected pet out there....Moehogs Rule!!!!

@cat Oh, thank you, that helps a lot! I do have one other question - so if you buy a pet style but you decide you don't want your pet to wear it for a while, you still keep it? So when you go back to the styling studio to wear it again, you don't have to buy it again?

@ myriamele - yes, once you buy a pet style it’s on your account forever and you can change back to it at any time. You can even use it on any Neopet you own of the correct species and not just the Neopet you originally styled.

Well, I say forever but if you want you can also use the styling chamber to remove an unworn pet style to your inventory and then use a gift box to send it to another account. So basically trading and gifting works the same as any other NC item.
