TNT missing a deadline? quelle suprise.

they must've had it in the code to launch today because at around reset, it was 12:20 (NST) I went on the plot hub and the timeline said March 3 and something about the forest or something haha, idk it was 3:20 am where I am so I don't remember fully, but I got excited and quickly left the page cause I didn't want it to be glitchy and miss out on anything when I got back on later in the day. either way I know I saw an update on the timeline and when I went back today there was nothing about it at all, it was removed.

Thanks for the stats, Dave! That is awesome knowing new TNT is putting in an effort. I can see they've been trying and I haven't played since late 2019 and came back just this past October.
I hope we don't have to wait TOO long- someone said maybe August? Oof, I would hope May or June... but then those are summer months and I tend to not be too active mid May-mid September. I am gonna try!! Lol

Kinda sucks that the free fortune cookie I got (plot points cookie) is just, like... useless until further notice.

I hope they really meant "within the coming month" - Quest Log has been keeping them busy for most of last month, so that would be a proportionate delay. I am not too impatient for it to be back, but I know it would feel better to continue and finish it than delay indefinitely.

Couldn't care less about the plot at this point tbh. They hyped it up for years and couldn't even launch it successfully after all that time. I have no doubt whatever they do with it now will be just as messy.

I couldn't care less about the plot's story, I really haven't been following it, but I miss the free stuff from volunteering and such, and how quick and easy it was to hit 50k np in the battledome with the plot opponents, it takes forever and is so grindy with normal opponents.

So, due to the time spent on monetization, the plot is delayed. That's fun. That's cool. Cool, cool, cool.

Yawn, so we can hibernate a little longer? Yay. Don't have to wake up early to shove my pets into the hospital for a little while longer then ^ w^

I bet that when the plot returns, they'll be popping up updates at a much faster pace though, to make up for lost time. Maybe more than one page per day (with just one prize for multiple pages), maybe shorter time frames in which we can complete certain plot steps.. All of that would be an improvement.

What I do worry about though is what this will mean for the story. Will it still be the same as they originally set up? Orion's stuff is all done now. Will that tie in to the plot at all? Will he just not show up for the Festival of Neggs, the Altador Cup and the Faerie Festival? (Oh please please PLEASE don't make him show up again. Or at least give the man a brush > -<
And now that they're boosting Premium as much as they are, will they add more Premium-exclusive perks (and buttons.. so many annoying buttons) to the plot?

I guess I worry about a couple of things XD

Oh, I hope it doesn't come back until at least after Negg Festival. But this is hilarious.

I hadn't come back yet when Orion was first introduced so to me he's just super annoying, like they act like I'm supposed to know or care who he is and what's going on with him, but in either case I absolutely don't.

The implication seems to be that I'm supposed to have some emotional investment in him and be excited to see a reoccurring character, but it's the opposite, I have negative emotional investment in him, any time he shows up it makes me lose absolutely any interest in whatever's going on.

I stopped reading the dialogue entirely after he showed up in the faerie festival, and I was super disappointed when he showed up to waste my time during the advent calendar; he poisons everything he touches with how tedious he is. He's pathetic and not even in a cute way, and he talks so much without managing to say anything interesting.

@bacon yeah. Sorry we were too busy pushing premium in your throats, we couldn't find the time for the plot lol

I am glad they managed to put this out now though, rather than do nothing and maybe, eventually, announce the plot is delayed in like, middle April. Like we wouldn't have noticed.

Did they just say they'll get the plot back up somewhere within the next MONTHS (plural!) immediately followed by "sorry it's not today but you won't have to wait much longer"? Postponing it by months is "not much longer" to them?

I don't miss the plot, I never cared about it in the first place, but the wording is kinda crazy.

If I saw Orion walking down the sidewalk, I would cross the street. Even if someone gave him a brush (@apophis342), even if he bathed, got a facial, went to the barber shop, added colour and variety to his apparel choices, ate healthy and took vitamins, got 8 hours sleep, a dental exam and cleaning so he could smile uninhibited, and listened to a variety of music like funk, rock, house, dubstep, and Bowie's "Let's Dance"

They should have told us this waaaaay earlier.

Adding onto what I just said though, I guess I'm glad it was delayed. Quest log fixes should be a priority, and I was really excited for plot but the artists really needed more time to work on it to avoid crunch. I just wish they told us this earlier when I was under the impression it would be back in late Feb (Not sure if that was the actual date they gave but I vaguely remember something like that).

It is worse to fail to accomplish something you say you are going to do, than to just not say anything at all. It has been months beyond the expectations that were set up. Very disappointing.
