If you purchase Neocash direct through Neopets between today, March 3rd, and Sunday, March 9th, you will receive a code to redeem for "an NP item", which can apparently include a Baby Paint Brush, Ghost Petpet Paint Brush, or Snow Petpet Paint Brush if you're lucky. Otherwise, it will be for some other undisclosed Neopoint item. Only one code per person, so no need to split up your NC purchases.
To celebrate these updates, NC purchase from 3 March 2025 – 9 March 2025 (PST) will get you a chance to win a unique Paint Brush including Baby Paint Brush, Ghost Petpet Paint Brush and Snow Petpet Paint Brush. If you don’t win any of these, you will still receive a free NP item. Consider it a little cherry on top of treating yourself to some well-deserved NC!
Note: Check your email in the last week of March to claim it! Multiple purchases per account will only earn one redemption code.
Today, TNT has made some updates to the on-site Neocash purchase options.
None of the actual NC purchase amounts (500, 1000, 2200, etc.) or costs have changed, but it appears that now mystery capsules and gift boxes are included with purchase. Previously, bonus gift boxes were only available when redeeming NC Cards purchased off-site from other retailers, and it's been that way since gift boxes were introduced in 2008!
Notably, Basic Gift Boxes are included, alongside a new Trendsetter Gift Box. If you purchase enough NC, a new Trendsetter Mystery Capsule is also included.
Here's what we've confirmed so far:
- 500 NC ($5) - no bonus
- 1000 NC ($10) - 2x Basic Gift Boxes
- 2000 NC ($20) - +200 NC, 2x Basic Gift Boxes, 2x Trendsetter Gift Boxes, and 1x Trendsetter Mystery Capsule

As a warning, purchasing Neocash on-site with PayPal is buggy, and we recommend using the card option if you're so inclined to purchase. (If you do go with PayPal, you will encounter an error message, but eventually you will receive the Neocash credited to your account.)
