Today, app version 1.5.0 is releasing and with it, a new event to celebrate Lunar New Year on Dacardia!
Here's what's new:
- A free 7-day daily login calendar, running from today (Jan 27th) through Feb 7th
- The Hissi makes its debut, available in the Premium Parlour for USD$19.99 (or higher with bigger bundles)
- The Eventide Paint Brush makes its debut in the Premium Parlour
- Bamboo Paint Roller and Lunar New Year Paint Roller make their debut in the Premium Parlour (for painting buildings)
- Lots of new Shenkuu-themed decorations and Crabby Capsules
- A new previewing system available in the Premium Parlour (so you can try that Eventide Paint Brush before buying)
- A new event-themed Quest storyline, starting off with Pan
- And lastly, and probably most excitingly, a new achievements system is making its debut—find it by tapping the clipboard icon in the bottom right corner, then tapping the Journal icon and looking for the Achievements tab
Achievements
App version 1.5.0 debuts a new achievements system, with what appears to be 108 achievable tasks so far! Prizes include Pearly Neggs, Dacardite Coins, and various Omelettes and Decorations (even some previously event-exclusives).
Limited Time Event Quest
More immediately, you'll want to make sure you log in and (a) collect your daily login calendar prize, and then (b) find Pan on your island and speak with him to kick off the quest line. You have until February 7th to finish off the quests, which take probably about 30-45 minutes to fully complete. There are no on-site Neopets.com prizes for finishing the quest line.
