Quest Log Daily & Weekly Prizes Updated

This afternoon, TNT refreshed the prizes for the daily quests and weekly streaks over at the Quest Log!

These prizes are expected to be around till some time in March—there's no set date that the prizes are rotated out, just roughly every 2 months. (Last time was November 11th!)

As with the past rotation, if you are currently working towards a weekly prize, you may continue to make progress and then claim it.

@skreamingninja: The prize pool was changed over in the afternoon NST, so if you did your quests before that, then you were pulling from the old pool.

@dave genuine question- explain it to me like i'm a child lol, but does it just do an rng roll the first time you load the page? Because I didn't do anything towards quest progress until I got on just now, but maybe I loaded it just after midnight nst? I honestly don't remember looking at it but that doesn't mean I didn't load the page, haha. I just assumed everything refreshed at midnight since that's the deadline for the daily quests.

@skreamingninja: it refreshes the prizes at the very moment that you first load the page in for that day. (If it did it for everybody automatically at dayroll, it would create an insane amount of processing load for no real reason.) So, if you did it earlier in the day when the prizes weren't changed over yet, it would use your prize refresh on the pool at that time; if you instead did it after the prizes were changed over, it would have instead chosen to refresh the prizes from the pool it had at that point in time.

@dave thank you for explaining! Appreciate you! I clearly do not understand how to code a website, lol, I didn't even think about the amount of processing it would take for every account all at once. I guess it makes sense that it works a little differently then how the dailies reset at 12 am nst since that more affects the page and not every account. Sorry about my confusion~

Man, wish inflation like that was frowned upon and against the rules, it makes the game impossible sometimes. It's just plain greedy.

The weekly log keeps resetting for me. Like I finished three days but then the next day it says I didn't complete any days so I need to start over again. This has happened to me multiple times. Has it happened to anyone else?

I like the daily prize pool more than weekly this round, but there's still a couple of nice things in the weekly pool. TNT seems like they're slowly focusing on functionally retired items for the weekly pool and hard-to-obtain ones for the daily pool, but I'd still like to see morphing potions and paint brushes completely leave the weekly pool for the daily one. There's thousands of items on the site, and plenty of those are unobtainable due to scarcity or the site being broken. I'm glad they're putting in more TCG and RIC items, just wish they added broken things like Skarls Charm or Glittery Scorchstone over more PBs and MPs.
