Why not put the Avatar in the tower ?

I think people would be happier if there was still a way to obtain the avatar. I got stamps quite frequently and two cannons from the Wheel.

They just gave the inflators permission to drive the price to 4 million.
Price has been 20-30k all day and now its 100k and going up

definitely would've preferred the avatar, but I'm in support of adding things to the Hidden Tower (or even a new shop so that Fyora doesn't have a monopoly) for a fixed price. probably could've waited more than a week though lmao

Oh, wow, neat. Though I did end up buying the Cannon from another user for 5 mil, so while it would have been nice to win it for free at least I got it half off from HT price.

Though, really, 10 mil? For the power it packs? I was sure it was going to be over 13 mil, even going as high as 16 mil.

Also, the stamp being 4 mil... *looks at SHOP WIZARD prices* no. Heck, I have 3 of the things in my SDB. But it is at least nice to see they do have some way this non-shop Stamp can be obtainable. There are so many Album items released via Events, and while TNT have done a recently good job making many of them available again via things like the Daily Quests, would also just be nice to have someplace you can use NP to get them (even if they cost millions). I wouldn't mind if the HT started swapping out its album items, maybe also have Igloo Garage Sale (I wonder if TNT will ever address Mika & Carassa plans on moving for 20 years) and Almost Abandoned Attic start stocking them.

Also they should make it so if you buy the Stamp you get the Avatar. Congrats to those who got it for free from the Wheel, though if they're going to overcharge for the stamp (and we have other items in the HT that is just for getting Avatars) might as well throw people who got bad spins at least that expensive bone.

I wished they added 25th Anniversary Aisha Stamp, 25th Anniversary Faellie Stamp and 25th Anniversary Shoyru Stamps into the Hidden Tower instead.

@cisko116: I get what you mean though at the same time we do have a lot of Avatars that are unobtainable (or essentially so) and I don't think it would hurt to have a way to get them (especially the older ones).

The most direct way would probably be another item like the Hidden Tower Treasure capsule, a 50 mil HT item that awards a random retired Avatar.

Though a more complex suggestion would be somehow recreating a "mini-experience" that a player can do which rewards the Avatar. An idea mostly for old plot & even Avatars, though I can see fun things they can do for some other ones like the Plushie Nova Avatar (open up a new restaurant in Neopia Central like Golden Dubloon or Kelp, except its a fast food place. Order a main meal (burger, chicken nuggets, salad, etc), side order (fries, onion rings, apple slices, etc.), drink, & condiment (each meal also comes with a free toy). And if you're lucky enough to have your Neopet bring leftovers home, you get awarded the Avatar).

TNT, can you not? Like, I get doing just wearables get kind of boring (and if a clothing item involves work to have it fit every Neopet), but album items are not the way to go. Like, for a reward for attending a real life event, how about a user lookup trophy? As for Premium AdCal Bonus Item, well I think you could have given everyone the Christmas Bruce Stamp and then had Premium users get, let's see, how about one of rare sea shells like Dazzling Blue Mussel Shell or Royal Orange Cowry Shell (or, better yet, wait for another day without a theme so you can base it around any rare existing album item you want to give away)? Sure a lot of players would still be annoyed, but I don't think many would be that upset compared to it being an exclusive album item.

Bummed I didn‘t get the cannon frlm the wheel, because I‘m not paying 10mil for that weapon lol. But I did get the avatar, so I‘ll stop compoaining haha

@pikachu315111 - Great methods, I fully agree those would be the way if any. They require people to actually generate patience and put in work for obtaining retired avatars instead of the 'include it in Quest Log'-esque level of effort that many are asking for.

Lol why not just make them premium HT items at this point? Putting NP items behind premium is the new norm now. This TNT are dead-set on running this site like a mobile app and there's clearly no shortage of shmucks funding it. Put all decent NP prizes behind premium walls and push out the nostalgic dirty cheapos who were always here for free.

Starting to feel like TNT has us in a beta test of neopets. Why a stamp for 4mil but a baby paint brush for 600k…? Why is the 22nd birthday stamp and valentines paint brush still in there ? These were practically handed out as candy to everyone by now…

uhhh whos this helping really? the cannon isn't any better than a WoDF and that is cheaper. the stamp would've never hit 1m in its entire run on the site.. so like thanks I think? add the 25th faelie RNG stamp to the HT. that would be a million times better

Avatars should be in the HT , not everybody has been around for 20 years or has been unfairly frozen.

As a premium user that did not see any of these new “perks” coming, I’m not offended. I agree that depriving non premium users of the 3rd gift is wrong, especially considering the whole WoC issue. The only reason they extended the WoC activity was to satisfy non premium users with a chance to spin twice a day.
