Well, there's the 4th cylinder - water. This one is actually cylindrical! Right circular, that is. I guess we'll find out what those do when they are joined together in concert somehow when the plot resumes?

Orion lacks the holiday spirit. He could use a Santa hat or perhaps an ugly Xmas sweater-that would suit him! Give him a dancing Fir companion! He seems so lonely...

Orion's always such a buzz-kill

Make sure to hold onto the cylinders (and the fire one) going forwards. They might come into play later in the plot.

While it seems logical to assume that Orion's panic-induced side-story factors into the plot, I really feel it's more of its own thing. And since we got this fourth cylinder now, instead of at the end of the Advent Calendar tells me that it's not unlikely we'll just wrap this story up permanently and we barely hear from Orion again for the remainder of The Void Within.

I agree with xxhopexx though. Orion's permanent disheveled look is great at taking me out of any holiday mood

@apophis324 The plot line is supposed to be a long one. I think it was stated about a year-long. Orion is likely going to get possessed at some point by an eldritch being. You don't glimpse the abyss and walk away sane.

I don't think that his comic is very 'festive' but, I hope he took a lesson from Tavi's story! Never forget!

If Orion gets possessed again, I hope he sings the Grinch song so he'll be somewhat festive. ^^

@ neodressup: I mean, she is a Christmas Aisha which are dressed up as reindeer; presumably Santa's reindeer. So with that said who says she doesn't have magic floating powers (during December/Month of Celebrating)?

@ kacheekfan96: Specifically why he didn't appear despite it being a "gathering" (he believes the Lyre is broken, though Reina makes a good point Neopians being more spread out; we may never know, and it doesn't seem to matter).

@ faellie_ridiculous: There was a more "festive" image of Orion on Neopet's facebook, and it showed he still had that Moltaran Petpet.
But yes, we got the 4th musical cylinder though I'm surprised we got it not only right away but it was a prize (so does that mean if you don't collect it today you completely miss out on it?). Also it is just "Water", which feels odd for an Event set in Terror Mountain (I thought it would be snow or ice as a water adjacent) and makes the "Lava" one feel like the odd one out. Anyway, that's all four of the classical element, and from the story it sounds like we're about to reach the climax (I was curious whether they would have us needing to collect a "Light" and "Dark" one as well, though thinking about it if there was those two we might have gotten the Dark alongside the Earth for the Faerie Festival).

@ apophis324: It would feel pretty anticlimactic to have us collect the musical cylinders only to not have the result of doing so not connect back to the Void Within. Though, considering they're missable and it is a side activity to the plot, I can understand it being disappointing if they have a major effect on it. The best of both worlds would be the cylinders unlocking something that would be helpful for progressing through the plot going forward but isn't required. Like the most simple thing would be a BD equipment that does additional damage against Shades, or we get something which gives us a bonus boon for future plot steps (hints on what to do, additional time, etc.).

As for Orion's appearance, hopefully Reina would notice this and give him at least a Santa hat (though I would give him an "ugly" sweater, he is in Terror Mountain so should be wearing warmer clothes).

Cool, I found out I didn't get the earth musical cylinder and I only have the other two. I hope they maybe return with them as 1M neopoints items, in case they are important. It helps those who participated to save money and those who didn't get it, not to be completely left out.
