A variety of celebrations are happening throughout Neopia:
- Need the "Happy Birthday!" avatar? Visit the New Features page today.
- The Swashbuckling Academy is offering free training to all pets all day. If you've already enrolled for a course you haven't paid, just cancel and re-enroll to get the free course.
- Treasure of the Black Pawkeet is free today and costs 150NP (half price) for the rest of November.
- Neopians have increased chances of a good result at Coltzan's Shrine today.
- The number of tickets for sale at the Ticket Booth is increased to 25,000 (instead of 5,000) today.
- All users have access to the Birthday Site Theme on both the classic layout and the mobile revamp. This site theme increases your chances of Random Events.
- For the next three days you may submit 5 scores for Neopoints on Flash games instead of the usual 3 until the end of Sunday (17th). This applies to classic Flash games only, not those on the beta site.
Free NC Goodie Bag

"25th Birthday Bash" Community Events, RIC, and Avatar
Starting today, in-person community-run events are taking place in 40 cities across the globe to celebrate the anniversary. The Hong Kong event has already concluded, while events in Austin, Ann Arbor, and Montreal are set to take place this evening. Most of the other events will occur throughout the rest of this weekend, while others will take place over the next month.
TNT had previously announced they would be providing event hosts with rare item codes to give out to attendees of their events. The codes award a goodie bag, which has started to make appearances on the site.
Opening the goodie bag will award you with a background, a book, and a toy:
Playing with the toy medal awards an avatar. Playing with the toy does not consume it, so the item can be sold or lent to other players to unlock this avatar, even if they did not attend one of the Birthday Bash events.
Anniversary Pet Styles
Yesterday, 19 different Celebratory Anniversary Styles debuted in the NC Mall's Styling Studio! These styles depict the star-patterned Neopets we've seen showing up over the past year in the build up to the 25th anniversary of Neopets. Styling Studio Supplies are also on sale for 12.5-25% off between now and November 29th.

Wheel of Celebration
The on-site celebrations include a "Wheel of Celebration" that can award "exclusive items like the Birthday Paint Brush, Birthday Petpet Paint Brush, discounts on merchandise on the Neopets Shop, and a plethora of other prizes including NP & NC items and retired items from previous plots." This wheel is not yet live at the time of writing. The announcement implies all users will get one free spin; an additional spin will be given to Premium users for free and to non-Premium users for watching an ad.
The Anniversary paint brushes were inadvertently available from the Alien Aisha Vending Machine for a few hours on October 30th, although no Neopet or Petpet species are paintable with them at the time of writing.
Merch
The merch celebrations include a pop-up event at Tsun Scoops in Garden Grove, CA; pop-up events at various Yi Fang Fruit Tea locations around northern CA; an anniversary-themed expansion to the Upper Deck Neopets Battledome TCG; two anniversary-themed jumbo plushies; and a visit to Anime Festival Asia in Singapore on 11/30-12/1.
