Fruit Machine High Score Table Fixed

TNT pushed a fix to the Fruit Machine high score table at some point on November 7th! Prior to this fix, eligible scores were not able to be logged on the high score table, and it would simply show a single score in 1st place with a blank username. This has been broken since the Fruit Machine received a revamp in 2012. (All the way back in the Viacom days!)

To get on the high score table, you must spin 3× Puntec Fruits, and the NP you earn will be your "score" for the table.

I didn't know this had a trophy! Granted, I've never gotten close to getting one, since I don't think I've seen more than one Puntec fruit, but I hope that changes.

Btw, is the first place pepper the smallest and the second place one is the largest, or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

I'm surprised they fixed it, I would love to see more fixes for the classic site in the future! It would also be nice if the old art for Fruit Machine could possibly be included in the guide page, I'd love to see it.

Funny, this reminds me of a pet peeve I have had since they updated it: that the fruits spin like a slot machine. It makes no sense. They're supposed to be picked up off a deck a-la Candy Land.

It's nice that they updated it though. Never won with the puntec fruits, but have won with ptolymelons a few times over the years.

Whoah!!!!!! Good job on ya, TNT! I never thought this would ever be fixed! It gives me a reason to actually spin it now, because I love the trophy so much~ ;v;;;

I don't think I ever knew there was a trophy for this, either!
We give TNT a lot of dung when they mess something up, but they don't get enough credit and appreciation when they fix things, especially previous TNT's messes like this. Good job!

Was not expecting this, but it's a nice fix!

@shuichi166 If you Google "Neopets fruit machine" and check out the image results you'll see the old version. It was just a few randomized Desert Neopets on white backgrounds. No spinning animation back then either if I remember correctly.

I don't even win 25k once per month. I'm lucky if I win anything. I haven't received a paint brush in probably four years.

WOW, this is pretty great, considering how LONG this has been broken!! This gives me some hope, for real.

Also, did I read correctly in the AMA summary, that the old sites layout is easier to edit than the new one? Let's hope for a new layout that is very nostalgic to the classic one, yet works on mobile... or just make the mobile app
