My prediction: One belongs to the dark Faerie that imprisoned Baelia whose name I've forgotten and could look up but that requires effort () and the other belongs to the Faerie Articifer who apparently isn't totally dead and gone at all.
Circumstantial evidence: There's an anvil in this evil lair, perfect for making weaponry and a dagger similar to the one Vira so skilfully wields seems to be sticking out of the Articifer Workbench Foreground that we got as a possible prize from her Trick or Treat Bag.

Too bad we won't find out until Q1 of 2025...

Aww.. I missed when the campfire game gave out 2,500 NP. Meh...

As for the story: Oooooh! Chalices once filled with ichor and blood! That'll pair perfectly with some Ichor Ghost Toast and Bloody Ghost Toast! (FYI: These two items really grossed me out back when they first released.) Okay, it's probably lipstick, but until that's confirmed, I'm going with ichor juice and blood wine.

So, I want to be interested in this part of the story, and I am! Mostly because I love Vira, but also because I'd rather follow any other character's story besides the main ones. XD; I'm sorry! I don't like Tavi (and the tea thing made her worse), Luxinia is pretty, but otherwise boring and feels like a deus ex machina character. I wanted to like Nyx, but she's just kinda... there. I love Baelia but, she's just kinda there, too. She feels like she was just shoehorned in, really. The best character in the group is the little Juni fella and all he says is YIP!
However, I wish my interest wasn't slowly getting piqued because the hiatus is coming up, and then I'll forget all about this again. 8(

Character issues aside, we all know Darkara is going to be the big, bad Faerie reveal! But, the big question on my mind, and probably yours too, is... where did she get an Angry Snowbeast throw rug? It is faux, is it real, or is it Maybelline!?

I just frustrated those chalices aren't wearables, why TNT???? They would make a nice lower foreground item!

The story started to getting interesting with this view of other characters. Fyora feeling overwhelmed, the villains getting attention

The chalices probably belong to Drakara (i.e., the artificer and the figure in shadows here; the black lipstick) and either Fyora (implied to have once been friends with Drakara via the Trick-or-Treat bags, but her lipstick is pink and that chalice would've been sitting there for a long time) or The Darkest Faerie (red lipstick, should be free currently).

I'm curious if the avie was glitched originally or they just changed the requirements, because I got mine on the third day of quests.

I got the avatar on day 2 though....maybe they changed the rules?

Hmm, interesting use of a maractite cauldron for the bubbling liquid... Idk what that would imply, but you loremasters of Neopia can chime in with that (can't tell if it's for weapon-making or cooking, aka what's contained in those goblets too lol).

So they def changed how you get the Tavi avatar since it came out, then, since it originally came out when she was only around for 3 or 4 days, so there's no way I and a lot of other people got it by doing quests 5 days in a row. Especially since I got it on my second quest of the day.

Maybe that's a new villain, like Vira's heretofore unknown sister.
I feel so badly for the blue orb creature (Frowny?) hanging in a cage from the ceiling. The look on the face is just plain pitiful. Awwww

Confirmed by whom? My fellow Neopian users and myself can and do lie/are wrong. But enough sincere posts and not brainless reposts have gone by to make me wonder, and I know I skipped a day.

Perhaps it should be corrected to say *now* it is five-days-inna-row. ...or... it was always intended to work that way but only sometime did.

I am not yet convinced that the Faerie Articifer and Drakara are the same person. While they do both seem to have horns, the wings of the Artificer plush and Trick or Treat bag seem like tattered leather, rather than the unique feathery design of Drakara's wings.
Also, if they are the same, why did TNT make up the word Articifer for her? Why not just call the plush "Worn Dark Faerie Plush" if you want to keep it mysterious?

And saying that Fyora's lipstick would be on that chalice is a big stretch. It's not the right colour and I don't see her drinking with the enemy right now

What if Drakara is actually a Grey faerie? She would gain a different and magic-free form than what she had, but because of the sheer amount of power she wielded before, she wouldn’t look like the kind of Grey faerie we’re familiar with!

Her current power seemingly stems from the artifacts she forges and not from her directly, anyway.

@1jediboy: Hmmm, interesting. Drakara the Grey Faerie.. Who took her power then? Fyora? That would give Fyora's note a different meaning. It wasn't that she eradicated the Articifer (assuming for a moment that Drakara and the Artificer are the same person, but I'm not yet fully convinced), but rather that she took all her magic so she couldn't be a danger to Neopia anymore.

Ooh ooh ooh and. And! Drakara on her own couldn't do much, but a certain other someone (The Darkest Faerie, assuming the red lipstick is hers) would have more than enough power to help Drakara out and they could then join forces to take out Fyora.

But if that is the case and she's only after Fyora really, then why was her Grey Painter attacking everything but Faerieland? The only thing Greyed in Faerieland is the poor Grundo Plushie of Prosperity. She wouldn't have beef with Skarl or the rest of Meridell... Would she really just be villaining for villain's sake?

Oh! Totally unrelated question.. Do you think TNT will give the Magical Grey Grundo Plushie of Prosperity a scarf for the winter festival, as they always do? :3

Also, I would really love that Reptillior wound round a crystal trinket for my gallery… and the Tentacle in a Jar thing (let me know if it already exists).

I also love the magical door-cam/mirror. Very fitting for a faerie artificer.

For the cosy campfire avatar: do you have to complete ALL 5 quests each day - for 5 days - to get the avatar? Or just complete at least 1 quest a day for 5 days??? So far, I haven't managed to complete all 5 for 5 days because of the insane inflation prices!!! At least now we can abandon 2 quests....

But now that the plot is going on hiatus, is the avatar-awarding quest going on hiatus as well?

Because I'm on two days in a row, and I won't complete the streak before the 11th. So it would be of no use for me to continue if the avatar process stopped :-/

@Tuttifrutti: no, I think you just need to complete one quest per day, for five consecutive days. At leat my sister got the avatar that way (but she had already unlocked the achievement of 15 Tavi's quest I think).

Can't wait to see the new prize pool for the campfire thing, lots are boasting about rare stamps but same old prizes for me

I received a Scary Tree Stamp from Cosy Campfire either last night or this morning, but did not realize that the prize pool updated so it must be a new prize.

With the news of a hiatus in the Plot I was expecting some info regarding how that will affect Battling in terms of NPs. The Battlepedia has NOTHING and is so clogged with long posts about non-battling information as to be exactly USELESS.

Frankly if I were a newbie I probably would be so confused as to just ignore it altogether. Please do some serious editing and revamping of this very important section. I have never found it very user friendly and this might be a good opportunity to do so.

Anyone else having trouble marking the last part of the comic as complete? No matter what I do it still shows as unread.

Has anyone wondered if it's safe to disown or transfer pets now that we don't have to use them for Volunteer Shifts anymore? I *assume* talking to doctor G. clears all of your pet shifts, so it *should* be alright to do so... I just hope that it is! People will be veeery upset if it isn't!

Looks like Cozy Campfire is glitched now. People are not getting their prizes in their inventory and it sometimes takes several tries to finally actually win a prize. Apparently people have "won" Scary Tree Stamp and Tea Time Stamp but didn't actually receive them. Then tried again and won garbage :'3 rip.

Anyone else get a random extra 200 plot points out of nowhere today? (Nov 10, first day that hospital/barracks were shut off)

I also have a random 200 plot points today. Definitely from today as everything was correct last night. I collected my "Leftover Uncollected Points from Previous Days" which said it was 100 points. Maybe it glitched and gave me 300 points?

Since the plot battles aren't available any more, who's good to battle, that gives out decent NP?

DFM Pteri just glitches. Tekkitu the Witch Doctor on hard does 750 NP. Is there anything better than that?

I hope they up the monetary prize for the regular battle challengers. I ain't battling 120 times to hit that 50k limit. And Snowy won't even give me any freaking Frozen Neggs, so I grow weary of doing daily battledome at all. 😔

Oh, totally. I mean, it's hard to believe that just a few months ago, 1,500 nps was the overall daily limit. Feels like a lifetime ago.

OTOH Tavi's tea dance is eating up a lot of NP so it balanced out, yes?

ok, i said i was gonna do it and heres my first impressions on the plot so far:

i'm just not jiving with 95% of wats going on. so far, theres barely been much substance of the plot's writing. its literally just "going from place to place" with nothing else to really chew on. sure, u have tavis story but thats about it.

speaking of characters, i was more invested with kyora and king altadors little thing compared to our main group. becuz theres nothing to really go off of with the characters. we still barely know our main characters. and thats not good in my eyes. im not talking about the past either. the modern day. wat they are like now. then maybe ill care about how they became who they were before. i want to care but due to the writing i just can't. i feel...nothing...on these characters. its like they wanna focus on ozzy and nyx but i don't really care for the bro and sis. i should but i don't really know or given the time TO care.

So are Tavi's quests also going on hiatus, tomorrow maybe?

Seconding the annoyance about the easy 50k a day going away... and I never battled ever before this plot!

I got the extra 200 plot points today as well. Not knowing where that came from.
The 30 items and 50K NP limit from battling is probably the only thing I miss from the hiatus of the plot.

Interesting.. So people were relieved the plot was taking a break because it was eating up so much of their time and they were happy to take a breather for the holidays.... and now they want to spend more time in the battledome so they don't miss out on Neopoints..?

Fighting in the battledome was the only plot "step" that recuired any real time!! The rest was just a few seconds of clicking!

"And we'll continue to have holiday tie-ins with the plot"

HAH! And people thought they could take it easy during the holidays~!

Interesting that the plot timeline on the site seems to not have been paused, it shows chapter 8 as starting today with a brief synopsis.

Don't know if this is happened to anyone else but I didn't get my reward today for this game. It said I got a Halloween candy cane but the item never showed up in my inventory. Camp Fire!
