RetroGameCon 2025

RetroGameCon 2025 took place at the Oncenter in Syracuse, New York, on October 10-12, 2025.

Neopets returned with a smaller presence this year. Although they did not attend as an exhibitor or purchase top sponsorship, they hosted an official meetup on the first day and remained a sponsor at a lower tier.

Friday Meetup

On Friday, October 10, the first day of the convention, TNT Renesmee and Community Ambassador macosten hosted an official meetup. The meetup took place from 7pm to 8pm in the Side Quest Room at the convention center.

A RetroGameCon banner was put out for attendees to sign.

Prize Code

Two code codes were gifted to attendees of the RetroGameCon meetup, as well as attendees at a "Scavenger Hunt Adventure" fan meetup occurring the same day in New York City at Bella Abzug Park in Manhattan from 4:00 to 4:45pm. Although happening in different parts of the state, both events received branded code cards from both events: a RetroGameCon 2025 Code Card and NYCC 2025 Code Card. Codes on the cards were redeemable at Grundo Warehouse for a guaranteed item.

Convention Program

An image of an Alien Aisha was included on the Friday/Saturday schedule page of the convention program.

Charity Auction

All exhibitors at RetroGameCon were encouraged to provide donations for a live charity auction that took place on Sunday afternoon. Proceeds benefitted the Golisano Children's Hospital. Neopets donated Acara NeoHoods, Faerie Draik Plushies, and a couple goodie bags filled with various Neopets merchandise.
