Comic-Con Coverage


Neopets returned to Comic-Con following the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022 upon the event's return to San Diego. The event ran from July 21st to July 24th. This year, Neopets ran a small section of the wider What's Your Passion Jewellery booth, number 929 (WYP Jewellery being one of the merchandise providers for Neopets at the time).

This year, the freebie Upper Deck sample card of 9 Faerie characters that had previously been available at NFT.NYC as part of the Neopets Metaverse stand there. Additionally, this was also available at Upper Deck's own booth at SDCC, booth number 303.

This year, Neopets offered a selection of merchandise for sale. Classic plushie lines available during Viacom ownership were available alongside the new selection of plushies released in 2021.

Neopets offered a free giveaway of additional swag on each day by taking a picture of the booth and posting it to social media. At the time, the image of the Faerie Xweetok in the background in a colour not normally available on site caused a stir.

Additionally, WYP Jewellery offered some convention exclusive merchandise. Available was an exclusive Rainbow Paintbrush pin, a lanyard, and four Neopet pins. These were also available as digital exclusive pre orders during the convention.
