There are several hundred secret avatars that you can obtain and proudly show off on the Neoboards. Each avatar has a unique method for obtaining, and we've outlined them all in this section. Once you obtain an avatar, you can change it on the Neoboard Preferences page. If you can't find an avatar, try asking the little Arkmite to the right!

I Taunt the Pant Devil
Have any single item with a listed estimated value of 5,000,000 NP or more, or multiple unique items with a combined estimated value of 5,000,000 NP or more in your inventory and refresh there. The event will show up at the top of the item list. Some examples of items with high Est. Values:
Dung Catapult, 3,080,000 NP
Valentine Paint Brush, 3,000,000 NP
Neopets 22nd Birthday Stamp, 3,000,000 NP
Faerie Queen Doll, 2,000,000 NP (play with this item to receive the Queen Fyora avatar)
Darigan Paint Brush, 1,400,000 NP
Spellseeker Vial of Power, 1,000,000 NP
Snow Faerie Doll, 750,000 NP

You might also consider the Grimoire of Affluence (10,000,000 NP) and Grimoire of Prosperity (1,000,000 NP) books. Both are No Trade, meaning you cannot resell them, but after you receive the Taunt avatar, you can read them to your Neopet to receive additional avatars.
The Est. Value for items sold in the Hidden Tower are the same amount as their price in the Hidden Tower. Check out our Hidden Tower Price Guide for more items with expensive values you might want to use.
As of January 2023, TNT discontinued the classic inventory page. Starting then, you had to use the new site inventory to receive this avatar and stacked items no longer count more than once towards the 5,000,000 NP value. In other words, you cannot use 54x Hasees, since only 1 of them (93,500 NP) will count towards the 5,000,000 NP.
