There are several hundred secret avatars that you can obtain and proudly show off on the Neoboards. Each avatar has a unique method for obtaining, and we've outlined them all in this section. Once you obtain an avatar, you can change it on the Neoboard Preferences page. If you can't find an avatar, try asking the little Arkmite to the right!

Visit the pet lookup of a Royalboy Lutari with at least 5 unique items with "Lutari" in its name in your inventory.

Rubbish
Awarded after discarding around 4000 to 5000 total items (exact number unknown) in your account's lifetime. Use your inventory or Quick Stock to discard items.
Charity Corner donations also count towards the avatar's "discard" requirement. (However, it is not awarded through the Charity Corner page. If the requirement number is exceeded by your CC donations, you will receive the avatar the next time you discard an item from your inventory.)

Feed your pet something with the word "speckled" in the name. (If you have a Skeith or Grarrl, Speckled Faerie Chomby Plushie is a cheaper item that those Neopets can eat.)

Mmm, custard! / Guide
Feed your pet anything with "custard" in its name, such as the Chilled Eyeball Custard.
An alternate method is to buy "Illusens Cream Cookie", switch your language to Portuguese, and then feed your pet. Any other item with "cream" in its name should work as well.

Play with any pinata that is categorized as a Toy until it breaks. (The one exception to this is that Scorchio Pinata will not work.)

Feed your pet an item with the word "Carrot" in it. A Carrot and Pea Omelette is a cheap item to use.

Drackonack - Hungry / Guide
Feed your Drackonack an item with "cheese" in its name that is between rarity 1 and 88. You can do this by placing both a Drackonack and a cheese item in your inventory and then refreshing the inventory page until you see the cheese disappear. The Drackonack should be positioned next to the cheese.
As of January 2023, the classic site inventory has been taken offline and this avatar is no longer available since it does not work in the new beta inventory.

Play with a Blue Evil Fuzzle until it scares your pet.

I Taunt the Pant Devil / Guide
Have a selection of items in your inventory with Est. Values that add up to 5,000,000 NP or more, and then refresh the inventory page. The event will show up at the top of the item list.
If you're using the stacked items view, all of your items must be unique, as an item's Est. Value will only be counted once towards the 5,000,000 NP.
If you're using the unstacked items view, you may use multiples of the same item and each copy of the item will be counted towards the 5,000,000 NP. As of July 2023, using multiple copies of the same item was allowed again in the new inventory.
