*whistle blow* Welcome back to the 13th (Sometimes) Annual Altador Cup JN Staff Tournament! This will be the thirteenth time staffers are going head-to-head in one of the most vicious JN events of the year. No Yooyu will be safe!

Backstory

Teams

20 Jellyneo staffers have chosen to each represent one of the 20 teams from this year's Altador Cup. You can see who's representing who on the teams page.

Rounds

There will be 5 rounds of play, each lasting two days. During each of those rounds, your job will be to guess who will win each of the match-ups. More details on that below!

The Team Roster for this year's tournament has a short blurb on each player's tournament history. Check it out before making your guesses!

During a round, each staffer will play 10 games of Yooyuball and try to score as many goals as possible. We will then take their goals per game ratio (total number of goals scored over 10 games divided by 10) and compare it to their opponent's ratio. The one with a higher ratio will win the round. If by chance the opponents score the same number of goals, then the match-up is a draw.

At the end of 5 rounds, whoever has won the most rounds will win the entire competition, take home a Jelly Sceptre, and have eternal bragging rights amongst their fellow staffers! (At least until next year!)

PARTICIPATION PRIZES! We have some special Rare Item Codes from TNT's booth at PAX East to give away! At the end of the tourney, 25 lucky jnAccount users who voted in all 5 rounds will be randomly selected to receive one of the codes. All you need to do is make sure you submit your selections for all 5 rounds.

How Can I Participate?

There are two things that you can do to participate:

Top 3 Guessing

This is the easiest part! Simply choose who you think will place first, second, and third in the overall competition. For kicks, you can also pick who will come in shameful last place. You only have until Monday, July 6th at 11:59PM NST to make your picks before the competition begins.

Round Guessing

Starting on Sunday, July 5th at 12:00AM NST, every two days, a new round of play will start (check the tournament schedule for exact dates). You will be able to guess who will win each round against their fellow staffers. Your aim is to make the highest number of accurate predictions. The users with the most correct guesses after rounds of play will take home trophies!
