Live play in the
Altador Cup has begun today! You can now send scores across all five games to help your team and earn prize points. All teams have been randomly placed against another, and the outcome of today's match will determine which brackets they are able to play in for the remainder of the Cup.
As with previous years, in order for your games to count and for you to receive prize shop points, there is a minimum score you much achieve each time you play. The daily score sending caps are also back this year. As with all Neopets games, you must wait at least 10 seconds submitting your score between game plays, or it will be rejected (this typically only impacts Shootout Showdown for the Cup).
You can read all about the minimums and caps here:
Achievements also debuted today, and can be found on the Cup homepage. (Note that the minimum scores above also apply for the score-sending achievements.) You can read all about the achievements here:
Earlier this morning Obstacle Course Caper was glitched, and would only earn prize points up to the regular Neopoint limit (3 for regular accounts, 4 for premium accounts). However, this has now been fixed. Additionally, some users are experiencing glitches where they are unable to successfully send scores at all on specific games (particularly Yooyuball).
Also note that while Yooyuball has a 2x points icon above it today, this feature has historically been broken since it was first introduced years ago. It is unknown if it is working this year or not.
This year's
Prize Shop is also open, ready for you to begin redeeming your points. Don't forget that the
Challenge Track is also inviting you to score at least 1,500 points in the Cup this year:
