Get Ready for this Year's Altador Cup!
In last year's XVIII Altador Cup, Team Virtupets stood on the first-place podium with Kreludor to the left of them on second and Maraqua to the right on third! While there have been no changes to any individual team's roster this year, there has been one major change to the games! The addition of a whole new team, Team Dacardia! There have been mentions of them joining in the past, and it is finally happening. With this newest arrival, the lineup has changed to a total of nineteen teams competing! We're sure the fans are interested to see what this means for this year's tournament and what new and exciting situations will arise! So get your concession stand food and find your seats because this year is sure to be one to remember!
A Clear View of the Action!
With the new high-definition cameras added this year, you can really see how hard each player is working to succeed in this Altador Cup! Fans have been loving watching their favourite players appear on the big screen! Teams Brightvale and Maraqua are currently tied for first place with four wins each, but they are far from safe with six other teams right behind them, each with three wins! You can literally see the sweat on everyone's brows from how hard they are pushing themselves! It's great to see such passion in everyone's eyes! Speaking of passion, take a look over at the Top Goal Scorers! Kayn Hireck from Team Brightvale has appeared on the big screen multiple times now due to his amazing moves! However, Feldon Collibridge from Team Krawk Island has appeared almost as often and is in second place right behind Hireck! In other news, we chatted with Team Virtupet's goalkeeper, Goltron Mk I, about their amazing win last year and asked if he had anything he'd like to share with all their adoring fans. This is what he had to say, "01010100 01101000 01100001 01101110 01101011 01110011". Ah, a man of little words but you can tell he truly meant it!
What Amazing Work!
There's been no stopping these players this Altador Cup! Team Brightvale is currently in first-place position, with Teams Kreludor and Maraqua right behind them! Even with everything going on in the world these athletes are still going all for it! It's been so great to watch! Let's not forget about those Top Goal Scorers, though, as they are some of the ones to be watching closely! Team Brightvale's Left Forward, Kayn Hireck, is still at the top with a decent lead from the rest! However, Team Kiko Lake's Left Forward, Holbie Pinnock, has shot into second place recently and most certainly is aiming to take Hireck's place! In other news, after the Janitor's hugely successful invention of the Quickelators last year, we checked in with him again to see what he was up to now! It turns out he had been hard at work on something called the Automatic Stairs! Similar to how the Quickelators are moving floors, the Automatic Stairs are, you guessed it, moving stairs! They've been added all over the Colosseum, and similar to before, his favourite part about them is he barely has to move to clean them!
We're Having a Fantastic Time!
The turnout for this year's game has been fantastic to see. With more and more fans pouring in each day, the teams must really be feeling the love! The fans of Team Brightvale must be super excited to see them in first place still! Then there's Team Kreludor and Team Tyrannia working hard to take that spot and make their fans proud! Now looking over at Top Goal Scorer, Team Brightvale's Left Forward, Kayn Hireck, has consecutively been in the lead by a decent margin this whole tournament! However, that hasn't stopped Team Kiko Lake's Left Forward, Holbie Pinnock, from giving it his all and is sitting pretty in second place! In other news, we'd like to formally apologise to the fan who was struck by the Team Tyrannia fan jersey during the t-shirt firing bonanza the other day. We are not sure whose idea it was to make that jersey out of rock, but we want to reassure you it is perfectly safe to attempt to catch the Moltara fan jerseys we will be firing off tomorrow. Though, we do recommend that fans bring some oven mitts with them.
