Altador Cup XIX Dates
Since AC XII in 2017, the Altador Cup has followed the same general format and timeline. This starts with Round Robin play, where every team plays every other team exactly once. This is divided into three weeks, with a practice day after every 5 or 6 days of play.
With addition of a 19th team in 2024, it is not yet clear how many days of play there will be. In previous recent years, there were 22 days of play: 17 days of round robin and 5 days of finals. TNT has not made clear if there will be additional days in either section to accommodate the extra team.
TNT has given contradictory information on the schedule. The rules page states that the tournament will take place from July 31 through August 31, while the Portal announcement states it will go until August 28th, with a possible tiebreaker on August 29th and winner announcement on September 3rd.
In previous years, after the last day of Round Robin play, there are 2 practice days, followed by 5 days of finals play. During the finals, the top 6 teams from the Round Robin each play each other exactly once, as do the middle 6 teams and bottom 6 teams. It is unclear how this will work this year due to the addition of a 19th team.
Winners are announced and the prize shop opens a few days after the last day of the finals.

Bye Schedule
Due to the addition of a 19th team leading to an odd number of overall teams, one team is chosen to sit out each day of Round Robin play for a "bye day." Unfortunately, the bye day schedule is not known.

During the finals, 7 teams were placed in the top bracket instead of the usual 6. This meant bye days were also needed in the top bracket.
