And so the 7th Altador Cup comes to a close... or does it? Yes and no. Meridell and Mystery Island are now tied for 2nd position, and as per the rules page should be playing a tiebreaker round to decide the podium positions. As for when this tiebreaker will actually begin, well that's anyone's guess. Regardless, at this stage we know that Kreludor have taken the Cup - go Kreludor!

Alabriss Bracket
Meridell cemented their position at the top of this bracket with a late sweep against Faerieland yesterday. Virtupets came close to the same against Moltara, but Moltara managed to hold on to a Shootout Showdown win. Draws were a major feature of the Haunted Woods/Terror Mountain game, in both Yooyuball and Slushie Slinger. The remaining two games however went in favour of the Haunted Woods.

Minitheus Bracket
Shenkuu managed a late showing against Kiko Lake, with wins in all games aside from Make Some Noise, which ended in a draw. A similar story from Mystery Island, who took three wins against Roo Island. The Rooligans managed to fight back though, securing a Slushie Slinger win. Mirroring the other two matches, the Lost Desert also managed three wins. Brightvale took the remaining game, Make Some Noise.

Vaeolus Bracket
Kreludor finished off their winning season with a sweep against Altador, while Maraqua managed the same against Tyrannia. The Krawk Island/Darigan Citadel match was more contested, with Krawk Island taking wins in Yooyuball and Slushie Slinger while Darigan took the Shootout Showdown and Make Some Noise wins.

Alabriss Bracket
First match up is between Moltara and Faerieland. Moltara took the win in Yooyuball, but the Faeries forced them into a draw in Slushie Slinger as they took the win in both Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown. The Haunted Woods managed not to get swept by Meridell, by forcing the Knights into a draw in Make Some Noise. Finally, Virtupets bested Terror Mountain with wins in Yooyuball and Make Some Noise. Terror Mountain ended up with a win in Shootout Showdown, and a draw in Slushie Slinger.

Minitheus Bracket
Roo Island came away with an overall win today when they bested Shenkuu. The teams tied in both Yooyuball and Slushie Slinger, but Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown went to Roo Island. Brightvale bested Kiko Lake this round, as they took Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown, leaving Kiko Lake to win in Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. Mystery Island was able to subdue the Lost Desert team, by winning in both Yooyuball and Make Some Noise. The Lost Desert was left with only a draw in Slushie Slinger and a win in Shootout Showdown.

Vaeolus Bracket
Altador continued to fight against the powerhouses it was placed with when it came to Maraqua. They were able to secure a win in Slushie Slinger, but that was it, as Maraqua was able to take them down in every other game. Krawk Island fared well against Tyrannia, who just came off of a win in Yooyuball against Kreludor, by almost sweeping the prehistoric team. Tyrannia survived only by a draw in Make Some Noise. Our last match up of the day was between Kreludor and Darigan Citadel. It is obvious who is going to win this year, as Kreludor swept Darigan Citadel.

We've reached the penultimate day of the Altador Cup and the results for Day Four are in!

Alabriss Bracket
Our first match of the day showed Terror Mountain triumphing over Faerieland by winning three of the games, though a draw was seen in Shootout Showdown -- an area on which the Faeries appear to have been improving. Meanwhile, Moltara claimed a victory in Yooyuball against the Haunted Woods, but they were not as fortunate in the side games department. Luck wasn't on Virtupets's side when they faced Meridell; the kingdom team continued their streak of sweeps by winning in all four games.

Minitheus Bracket
Clear winners could be seen in all three Minitheus matches, though none of them were sweeps. Roo Island was the clear winner in the Roo Island/Brightvale match, though Shootout Showdown went to Brightvale. Lost Desert won in both Yooyuball and Slushie Slinger, but Team Shenkuu may or may not have screamed their hearts out and took a win in Make Some Noise. The two teams were evenly matched in Shootout Showdown. Mystery Island won in Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Make Some Noise, but the Kikos did not let them run away with a sweep; Shootout Showdown ended in a draw.

Vaeolus Bracket
Kreludor saw their first loss in Yooyuball today, a blow caused by Tyrannia; the lunar team had previously seen a draw, but apart from that their Yooyuball record was flawless. Meanwhile, Altador saw their second Yooyuball win today, this time against a historically stronger team than Moltara: Krawk Island. The last game of the day ended in a sweep, with Darigan Citadel blowing Maraqua out of the water.
