Team Dacardia Joining This Year?

After last year's Altador Cup, TNT teased Team Dacardia for this year's Altador Cup, presumably as a new team that could be joined. Dacardia, for those who don't remember, is the island featured in Island Builders, a mobile game that came out a few years ago. Dacardia was also featured in the last Charity Corner event.

The team was revealed with this image:

The team was also featured in a seasonal event in the game:

Up until now, there has been no additional mention of Team Dacardia in the annual press tour. However, today, a team Neocash item—Dacardia Team Popcorn—has been released in the NC Mall (alongside the other 18 teams over the past week).

Could this mean Team Dacardia will be joinable this year? Or will they be taking on a different role?

I just wanted to say that I much prefer the beta designs for Team Dacardia than what was actually teased.

The Editorials of editions 964 and 974 of the Neopian Times indicate that one additional team may join the Altador Cup that isn't Dacardia, though highly unlikely to be this year, however.

"The Dacardia Team was teased at the end of this Altador Cup, and there are other Neopian lands that could surely use some representation in the Cup as well. Which lands would you love to see with their own Altador Cup team? Feel free to tell us which teams should join the Altador Cup next through the Editorial, Neomail, or on the Neoboards. I just want to be able to play this year! Last year was atrocious, I could barely play, scores wouldn't count for any of the games, captcha errors out the yang, nothing helped and TNT said since it didn't effect all players so they weren't going to do anything about it.

I wish, the Jelly Chias are back, I was kind of looking forward to a Dacardia team
